Helene & Dolph are truly exceptional hosts. Our wedding was the best experience of our lives. We couldn’t be happier with the service and all the recommendations they suggested. We felt as if we invited our friends & family to our home and hosted the party of the year! The vendors Helene works with aren’t just recommendations, everyone is close friends who have been working with each other for years…and they happen to be the best in the area. I was reluctant to have a wedding at all because I was worried about the planning & stress but I loved planning my wedding and working with Chateau Hathorn.

Helene and Adam took care of my wedding. They both made me feel like I was the only bride If I called Adam knew who I was right away. Helene took care of everything and it all was just breath taking. The staff, they have was really great as well even the ones that was not taking care of my wedding party. The food was great as well. They made my cake also and it was beautiful and tasted so good. My husband and I will be going back there for date night.

Helene, Dolph, and their entire team went above and beyond any expectation I had. My husband's family rented out all the rooms for the weekend, and we had a Saturday evening wedding. Helene was so helpful throughout the entire process. However, the day of the wedding, I was completely blown away by their team's service. During the cocktail hour as we were getting photographs taken, servers would bring trays of food to us to ensure that we ate. The food was AMAZING. Everyone kept raving about it. Each and every server was exceptionally nice. Helene and Dolph are the owners, and they were there from afternoon to midnight, and then Dolph was back the next morning as we ate breakfast. To see the owners take such care and attention to our wedding was exceptional. This place is not a typical NJ/NY banquet hall wedding factory. This place is their heart and soul - they've owned it for decades and you can tell it means so much to them. My husband's family who were visiting from Florida and Massachusetts loved their stay, and I are even talking about coming back in a year for another family reunion, they loved it so much. Adam, who manned the bar and appeared to head the serving team, was also phenomenal in his service. The bridal suite is included in your wedding price. The ease in being able to get ready, have the ceremony, have the reception, and go to sleep afterwards all in the same place was fantastic. We didn't have to have a limo move us around, and I was able to have my hair and makeup done on premises. Additionally, it was nice for the bridal party to go up to the room if needed for touchups throughout the night. Also, they include your wedding cake in with the wedding as well. That meant one less vendor to deal with - which made my life so much easier, as I was planning this wedding from a distance. I could not have asked for a better wedding or a better venue. Their whole team had such an integral role in making sure our day was as flawless as it could be.

Everyone had an awesome time, and was very impressed with the venue! The price we got was excellent and it was the best value we found. The free bridal suite and other rooms were very nice too, as was the included breakfast everyone had. Definitely would recommend!
