Adding insult to injury, the ring came with an appraisal that was egregiously inflated. When I requested to see the original receipt for the purchase, Gary Salvit was unable to produce it. This is perplexing considering the fact that I had only bought the ring a few days earlier. I expected a certain level of professionalism, honesty, and transparency when dealing with a reputable jeweler like Chateau Jewelers. Unfortunately, my experience has left me feeling deceived and taken advantage of. It is evident that the Gary lacks integrity and has little regard for the satisfaction and trust of his customers. I strongly advise anyone considering making a purchase from Chateau Jewelers to exercise caution and thoroughly scrutinize every aspect of the transaction. Based on my personal encounter, I cannot recommend this establishment or Gary Salvit as a trustworthy source for fine jewelry. There are numerous other jewelers who prioritize honesty, transparency, and customer satisfaction, and it would be wise to explore those alternatives instead. Chateau Jewelers and Gary Salvit's deceptive practices, misrepresentation of product quality, inflated appraisals, and failure to produce necessary documentation are clear indicators of their unscrupulous behavior. Not to mention the ring broke just a few months after purchasing it and we were lucky enough that my wife realized and it wasn't lost forever.
