About this vendor
We find, more often than not, that Chateau Mariposa is the place the bride picks to go to BEFORE the place she goes to, to say I DO! Check out "Mariposa Moments" for the Girls, Glitz & Glam moments before the big day! Of course, we host wedding ceremonies, elopements and receptions for up to 50 guests. These premises also facilitate other celebrations such as engagement parties, showers, and rehearsal dinners. Additionally, event rental items are available, including chairs, tables, linens, drapery, and lighting.
Chateau Mariposa is an exquisite, welcoming, and unique wedding venue located in Brooksville, FL. A little off the beaten path and nestled on two and a half acres, Chateau Mariposa is a beautiful Mediterranean-inspired country home where charm and elegance meet down-to-earth hospitality. With its heavy, dark wood beams and rich flooring grounding the space, every detail is thoughtfully balanced - the light-filled spaces, soft textures, and an airy elegance that invites you and your guests to come in and stay awhile.

Chateau Mariposa is an absolute gem — such a beautiful and unique find that was perfect for our intimate micro wedding. From the moment we arrived, we knew this home was something ...
special!
The home itself is stunning and served as the perfect backdrop for our first look photos. My bridesmaids and I stayed at the property beforehand, and getting ready in such a well-lit, thoughtfully designed space made the whole experience feel even more special. The natural lighting throughout the home was amazing — everything felt calm, cozy, and picturesque.
Our ceremony took place under the pergola, which was a gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony. Every corner of Chateau Mariposa has something to offer, whether it’s for photos, relaxing, or making memories.
But what truly made our experience unforgettable was our host and venue owner, Carmen. She was a gift in every sense of the word — so kind, helpful, and incredibly thoughtful. From the planning process to the day of the event, she went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and that we felt supported throughout.
If you’re looking for a special place to host a small wedding or celebration, Chateau Mariposa is it. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect setting or a more wonderful host.
