Chateau Michele

I had my bridal shower here, and "average" is the best way to describe our experience. The food was good, the staff was attentive during the event, and the space was decorated nicely. During our initial meeting with Michele, she had a very blase attitude and was pretty short with us when answering our questions. Despite this, we went through with booking as this place had been recommended to us by someone else who had their shower here. Unfortunately, any time we spoke with Michele we got the same uncaring and bored responses from her. At one point my mom emailed her with several questions we had for the day of our event, only for Michele to answer some of them and then tell us to refer to the brochure to answer the rest of our questions (the answers were not in the brochure). Oftentimes it was difficult to get ahold of her at all. In my opinion, this is not the attitude you should have if you run an event/banquet venue such as this. We frequently felt based on her behavior that she would rather do anything else than talk to us. I got confirmation from someone else who inquired about having an event here that they received this same treatment. Finally, on the day of my event we had the space from 10:30am-2:30pm. The event itself had pretty much wound down with most of the guests gone by 1:30, however there were still several of us there talking and loading things into our cars. The staff had almost fully set up the next event while we still technically had the space for another hour. This came across as rude to me and several of the others present while this was happening. Overall, everything worked out for the event itself but the planning experience was not very positive.
