Chateau St. Jean Winery

An absolutely beautiful venue with incredible staff! I highly recommend looking at Chateau St. Jean for your wedding - it has all of the pieces to make your day absolutely beautiful. There are a ton of different areas you can have your ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing, and the flow is perfect. Guests don't get lost, and it's fun to have a different location for each part of your big day. Being able to get ready and wait for the ceremony in the chateau is so fun, too. We had the ceremony on the lawn, cocktail hour in the formal gardens, and dinner and dancing right below the chateau patio. Kelly and the event staff are very accommodating and wonderful to work with. I honestly miss talking to her on a regular basis. My biggest warning, though, is that the venue is EXTREMELY careful about noise violations and the neighbors. As such, they forced our band to play below a certain decibel level - it was really unfortunate because the band couldn't put the energy they wanted into the songs they were playing. Super sad to see the trumpet and trombone players quietly playing their parts.

My wedding at Chateau St. Jean was breathtakingly beautiful, to say the least. Not only is the scenery and view incredible, but the service is impeccable. The venue staff worked closely with my wedding planner and coordinated everything flawlessly, down to the smallest detail. We had the property from 3:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. on a Saturday, and we also had the rehearsal at the venue from 3:00 to 5:00 the Friday afternoon before the wedding. The employees truly cared about making sure my special day went off without a hitch; and it did! Getting married at Chateau St. Jean was like a dream come true, and I would definitely recommend this venue to other brides!
