Kate coordinated our cocktail hour and reception at CBI in November 2024. She was fantastic to work with, and kept us at ease throughout the process. She was communicative, pleasant and easy to work with, and most importantly offered proactive suggestions that we couldn't anticipate ourselves. We had such a wonderful time at our own wedding, thanks to Kate and her team who made the whole evening feel seamless, classy, easy, and most of all, fun. Kate was thoughtful with her check-ins and also shared our enthusiasm day-of. We also realize there was lots of behind the scenes work from her and her team (kitchen, bar, etc etc) which we are very appreciative of.

planning process; weeks of delayed responses to emails/follow up emails and miscommunications amongst their staff. However, the tasting was beautiful and anytime we were in person with the coordinators/managers, they were lovely to work with. There were a few challenges during our wedding weekend. The front desk did not distribute our welcome bags to guests in our room block as they had intended, my dad who is handicapped was not put in a handicap accessible room despite prior arrangements, and the catering team had not printed out the seating arrangement and dietary restrictions for the reception. We were lucky to have a separate wedding planning team who helped us manage these items. In addition to the beautiful setting, there were several staff members who were truly the saving grace of our experience here. Stanislov, who we had met during our tasting, was absolutely incredible. He was highly organized, attentive, and above all incredibly kind. You could tell he takes true pride in his work and executes it masterfully. The valet team, servers, and bartenders we worked with were also phenomenal. The chef and her team prepared incredible dishes that guests are still raving about. In all, we would choose Chatham Bars Inn again and look forward to spending many future anniversaries there.

A few months into planning our original event planner left and about a month later a new one started. It was bumpy at first since she was new and learning the ropes, but in the end she was great.
The site is beautiful. The food- everyone said it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. We had the family clam bake and it was too much food. We also added in bonfire after dinner.
Knocked off 1 star bc there is no bridal room to get ready in. You have to get ready in the room you book and check in the night before. Other venues we looked at and had booked pre-covid were much more accommodating in this aspect and made you feel more special. It did feel like we were just a # here as they do so many weddings.
It is very expensive so know that going it, but you get what you pay for- exceptional service, food, and views.

Well, lucky for us, by the time the ceremony started, the rain stopped and the sky miraculously turned blue so we didn't have to worry. But, either way, we were prepared thanks to Kristin! Not one detail was forgotten and the staff was INCREDIBLY attentive all night long. My husband and I even had our own personal waiter all night who would find us wherever we were to make sure we had everything we needed--he even brought us waters to make sure we were staying hydrated! We had our cocktail hour in the South Lounge, our reception at the Beach House Grill and our after party in the Monomoy--our guests loved that our events were in different rooms because it felt like 3 separate parties in one! From the views to the service to the food/drinks and everything in between, (it's pricey, but) it's so worth having your special day here. I can't say enough good things about this place. Our guests will be talking about our wedding for the next decade!

Everyone that you come in contact with is extremely professional and gives top notch customer service! From the bell man service to the catering staff. Everyone treated us like royalty. The staff is so helpful and down-to-earth! We are so beyond happy that we decided to have our wedding at CBI, we wouldn't have done anything different. event the ceremony and the cocktail hour went very well. Even the weather cooperated! However, dinner service did not go as well. The bride and groom made their rounds to visit each table before the main entrees were served.
A few minutes into it my daughter and her husband were pulled to the side and were informed that there would be no fish. The coordinator stated the chef had failed to start the fish (one of the choices) and that they would substitute ravioli. I was very disappointed in the way the issue was handled. First, because the bride should never be confronted with a problem on her very special day and secondly, the fact that they did not start the fish is inexcusable. They never offered beef as an option to the guests that had chosen fish. Instead the staff decided to substitute with the vegetarian option. Not to mention the majority of the guests had chosen the split plate with fish and beef.
After speaking with the coordinator, she informed me that they would credit my account and offered us a suite for future use. It was a nice gesture but we would have rather our guests have enjoyed fish with their meal as that is one of the great things about having your event on The Cape.
After having experienced this, make sure that the coordinator is on top of all aspects of the event day of, including the kitchen. We were happy with everything else, however, future clients should be cautioned to make sure the correct food is being prepared and the staff is to tell a parent/bridesmaid/friend of any mishaps.

The Chef was willing to work with me to design my dream menu AND he took such good care of all of our guests with allergies (e.g., we asked for a nut-free wedding). The events team was similarly amazing and worked so hard to make sure that our vision played out -- we worked very closely with Kate Mann, who is an absolute rock star! llent, Clarissa will show you all the options and be honest with you with what is possible and now possible. From there you will start to work with Kate Mann the wedding coordinator who I can not praise enough. She has incredible organizational skills, professional skills and has great insight into what a couple is looking for. She ensured that everything was perfect while planning and the day of. I am a control freak and was a little frantic the day of the wedding, she put me at ease to know she had everything under control and everything went perfectly.
The food tasting at CBI is one of my highlights, it's intimate and you feel like a prince and princess. The food is incredible. They have their own farm where they grow a lot of their food and spend so much time perfecting it. We couldn't believe how great it was.
The service of the wedding was over the top, We had about 17 waiters on the head table making sure everything was perfect. We had Ivan as our head waiter to ensure that we as bride and groom were happy. Ivan is a dream. He is the sweetest man and makes you feel like you are the most important person in the world.
The venue speaks for itself, its beautiful, classic and chic. I can't recommend this venue enough for a wedding. It was perfect.

l. Working with Kate was so easy, she was so helpful and offered a lot of great suggestions along the way. When our wedding weekend finally arrived, every single detail was taken care of. Our guests were blown away by the food, level of service and beautiful amenities that CBI had to offer. For my husband and I, we were well taken care of by the entire team all weekend and there's literally nothing I would have changed about our wedding. We hosted a brunch the next day in the main dining room and it was the perfect send off, and delicious too. The only disappointing thing is that it's all over... I wish we could do this once a year!!

beauty and stunning appearance aside, the best part of CBI is the people who work there. Our #1 priority was to make sure our guests truly had an experience and whether it was something as simple as having the doors opened for them very time the entered the main inn, to the bell hops offering anything and everything, the front desk remembering people's names, the wait staff offering to have meals brought to rooms for people who arrived late to our rehearsal dinner, our vendors being coordinated by our CBI contact, things brought up to our suite without ven needing to ask throughout the night, the trolley that brought us to the father party. The weekend was amazing and I wouldn't change a thing
Also, being from MA but now living in MN, I wAs essentially planning a destination wedding. That is why we chose CBI before truly knowing how spectacular they were. We did our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, lodging, and morning after breakfast all on the CBI property. The did the catering and the cake as well and their pricing included the meal, cake, liquor, taxes and gratuity so there was no additional 27% to add on unexpectedly at the end.
The best I can say is that when I woke up the morning after and thought about what I would hav dne differently, the resounding answer was NOTHING!

use reception was amazing, and we never felt like the small fish (at less than 50 people) in the big pond.
Amidst all of the craziness and crossed emails in planning, Megan hit every note, and arranged the floorplan perfectly. Guests were blown away, as was I. The thing that really got me about CBI and Megan, though, was the attention to the small details. A gluten free cupcake was no problem for one guest with such needs, to the point that they gave her two. I had a migraine, and there was Megan with the Excedrin. FI (H I guess now!) forgot his reception shirt and sandals in the room, and she had it down and ready before he even needed to change. She stole me toward the beginning to walk me through all of the little details, so I really got to take in everything before the evening kicked off.
Really, it could not have been anything more than I had ever dreamed. I could re-live this night a million times, and hope we have an excuse to throw another awesome event there one day.

The personalized service from the coordinators to the chef to the front desk staff was fantastic and exactly what you would expect from a place like "CBI." Even if you are on a budget, give them a call to see if they can work within it. Its well worth it!

The staff there was unbelievably professional- everyone that we worked with, especially our coordinator, Clarissa, who could not have been more fantastic. We were not even nervous on the day of the wedding about things going smoothly because we had such faith in them, and everything went completely perfectly down to every last detail! They truly made our special day fantastic!
The food and wine were incredible- we had people coming up to us all night commenting on how it was the best wedding food they had ever tasted!
We would recommend this venue to anyone!

If I were to have one complaint, it would be that there was a lack of service leading up to the day and it was at times difficult to reach members of the staff there (which, as any first time bride knows, can be a bit infuriating).

dding coordinator, even just days before the event. The day of went off almost perfectly, minus one major thing, they changed the direction the ceremony was pointing. Instead of having the ocean in the background we were looking at bushes. Why didn't anyone tell me this was going to happen? I was only informed right before I walked down the aisle. They also forgot to serve some of the desserts and now that the wedding is over no one will return our calls.

ssa and the entire staff at CBI pull out all the stops, taking care of you throughout the whole process. They run such a high class operation that everything goes off soooo smoothly, orchestrating your day to perfection! We had a lot of unique "adds" to the look and feel of the reception/cocktail hour that Kate took care of with such ease. The beauty, ambiance and overall feel of CBI is (in my opinion) bar none and create such a magical day that the bride & groom, family and friends will always remember. We were hearing compliments about the wedding from our guests for months on end and we owe that to Kate and the CBI staff. More than a handful of people commented that it "was the best wedding they had ever been to". So let's just say, I would HIGHLY recommend CBI as a weddng venue to any bride & groom to be! Sometimes...I wish we could go back to that beautiful day and do it all over again :-)

the staff was able to anticipate our every need (glass was almost empty, ability to get us 40 sandwiches for after the party, etc.) ~ They happily moved huge, valuable, decorative fixtures so that we could accomidate our tables ~ All we had to do was give them our table cards, cake knives, glasses, photo frames etc. and they took care of the rest, never had to worry about anything getting lost. ~ The wedding coordinator came to the actual ceremony to make sure that everything went smoothly ~ Met with us any time we wanted to do a 'spot check' and were able to accomidate all requests, big or small. (wanting Bombay Gin at the bar, asking other reserved guests to move when we discovered that the rooms we wanted were booked) ~ Greeted us by name every time we were on the property. not just the people who worked exclusively with us, literally everyone, down to the valet boys. ~ Shuttled us to a local bar after the reception and came back to get us after, even though it took many trips!! They smiled the whole time! ~ I could go on and on about how amazing the CBI was for everything, the points are honestly endless. I want to also not that they also hosted our Rehersal Dinner and our Sunday Brunch... I literally had the dream wedding that every girl prays for... And the helped to make it all come true!

gards to the actual ceremony & reception (we had both there). We loved that fact that they came out and passed around Champagne & a signature drink (Cape Codders) right as the ceremony ended so there wasn't any back-ups at the bar. it was really a perfect day!;Just make sure you ask a lot of questions & be very specific as to what you want. We're having a little challenge in regards to figuring out the final bill versus what they quoted us the week before the wedding, just stay on them for that.
