Diana and her team are awesome at what they do, our reception in the barn was beautiful and set up exactly how I wanted it. The villas are super nice as well. We had a wild storm roll through right before the ceremony and the staff allowed us to push it back 30 min (after the storm passed) and they cleaned up and set everything up to where I didn’t even notice a storm came through! I can’t recommend them enough. They made our wedding day perfect!

y because it is absolutely gorgeous, but the staff cares so much about the details and they do it with a smile. I was one of the “lucky” brides who had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. Even THAT was a breeze with them. The best part was getting to plan everything with Abigail, their Director of Events who was assigned as my day of coordinator. Abigail was BEYOND helpful, timely, and just a genuinely kind human who made working with the venue (for 2+ years once it was all said and done) a total breeze. No question went unanswered and handled everything we had planned with grace. This venue makes sure it is your day. Not just our coordinator, but the waiters, and especially the staff at the villas. Just a few examples: Abigail truly helped bring our boho chic barn wedding to life with her knowledge of the venue and even got their early to let some family members hang neon signs. The waiters and waitresses came up to me during photos just to bring me and my husband Ordervs (which we SO needed lol) The villas helped us in every way possible at every turn to help us manage so many people coming in from out of town. Calling with updates, cleaning villas early, and even mailing me items left behind. This is just a small list of things I could go on and on about. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. Any photo, while gorgeous, does not do justice to the ambiance the barn and the lawn have. Walking into the fully decorated venue and dancing on the patio will be some of my favorite most beautiful memories. The food - ohhhh my gosh - the FOOD. Everyone could not (and still can’t!!) stop talking about it. I have literally had dreams of it since our wedding day. Yes - it’s that good. Here’s a plot twist - I’m a vegetarian, and they cater to ANY diet with no issues and everyone raved about it no matter what the meal. The villas are beyond gorgeous. When my family first arrived to their villas I got photos and videos of everyone saying how blown away they were by how cozy, beautiful, clean and overall cool they were. Having my family and bridal party on site made for an epic wedding weekend with people making use of the beautiful area the venue has to offer. Some went on walks in the early morning, some hit the pool after rehearsal dinner, and many patio hopped after the wedding celebrating and having a blast. We did a bonfire at the end of our wedding which was the cherry on top of an amazing night. Some people came dressed as is, others went back to villas and changed, but either way the staff there was friendly and accommodating. We ran into a minor shuttle issue and as I tried to solve it the fire tenders said to me “you are the bride - this is your night. We will handle this (when I was happy to do it myself - the selflessly put us first). The fire was close to the barn and just an absolute blast on the perfect mid September night. Long story short? I CANNOT rave about this venue and it’s staff enough. I will be back to visit for many years to come. If you are looking for the perfect wedding - Chaumette Vineyards and Winery is your venue. We are still on cloud nine. Thank you so much Chaumette!!!!

Our Day-of-Coordinator Collins was so professional and so key in ensuring that the vision I had for our dream day came true. Our wedding party and several more of our guests stayed in the villas on-site giving the weekend a true destination wedding feel in southeast Missouri wine country. Collins and the rest of the staff were so flexible and worked with us without question when our wedding had to be delayed due to COVID. The staff followed strict precautions throughout the event and it eventually went off without another hitch. I cannot commend everyone at Chaumette enough for the amazing wedding weekend we were able to have. I would highly recommend for anyone interested in an indoor or outdoor, traditional or rustic winery wedding!

Because of Covid, our original plans had to be changed, thus we did our planning in less than 3 months in a new venue (Chaumette) that was more than willing to have us, accommodate us, and meet our every need. They were friendly and flexible, with a can do, no problem attitude. We were very happy with everything and our guests were also impressed. Thank you for saving the day and making it magical for our daughter and new son in law!!

oor barn. We loved the idea of a destination wedding where everything was pretty much provided, we just had to show up! We stayed at the on-site Villas, as did our wedding guests. We even hosted our rehearsal dinner at one of the large villas, and it was a perfect, low-key night we will remember forever! It was great because people were able to spend a lot of time getting to know each other over the weekend when they otherwise would not have had that opportunity at just the wedding. Collins was our dedicated Wedding Coordinator, and she made our wedding planning process manageable and as stress-free as it could be. She was great to work with and was always able to answer any questions. (I had tons of them!) The day of our wedding, Collins kept things moving like clockwork, regardless of what was thrown at her. It rained the day of our wedding but Collins quickly and efficiently turned our outdoor wedding into an indoor wedding but still with the incredible view. The day after our wedding (a Sunday), she answered questions from me and my mother no later than 8 am about how best to retrieve items from the barn. I highly recommend Chaumette for your wedding, and I am so glad we had our wedding here. Thank you, Chaumette, Collins, Nicole, and everyone who we worked with, for giving us a wedding night we will always remember!

The villas were a perfect place to get ready on the day of the wedding. Also, they are a great place to relax the day after. Besides the breathtaking setting, the staff was exceptional. They were so organized and took care of the entire set up process. This made the night before our wedding and the day of less stressful. I was amazed when I walked into the barn to see it set up just like I imagined. We used several vendors from their preferred vendors list and were so pleased with how amazing they all were. The food was the best. We have not stopped receiving compliments about it! I cannot say enough good things about Abigail. She was accessible throughout the entire process. Whatever question I had, she quickly was able to provide us with an answer. She met with us several times to talk about our ceremony and reception. Our wedding would not have gone as smoothly without her and am so grateful she was our wedding coordinator. She ran the rehearsal dinner and made sure everything followed the timeline during the evening of the wedding. Chaumette was beautiful and made sure our day went smoothly. I definitely recommend this venue!

We loved that we could do everything there on the grounds - ceremony, reception, lodging. The Villas are amazing and our out of town guests loved staying there and took full advantage of the amazing pool area for pre and post wedding events. Our wedding coordinator Abigail was a dream to work with. She was very accommodating and so pleasant and helpful. All of our guests cannot stop talking about the beautiful scenery and amazing food prepared by their head chef. They are total rock stars and help you throw an amazing party and event!

Throughout the process, I know Collins was working on other weddings, but when she worked with me, I always felt like my wedding was top priority and she really listened to what I wanted. We had to move the ceremony inside hours before the wedding due to rain, but the staff set everything up without any problems. Chaumette was affordable and I liked having my ceremony and reception in one place. The food is amazing! We had a BBQ theme for the rehearsal dinner and a southern theme for the reception. Everyone commented on how great the food and service were.

From the moment my mom and I stepped on the property we knew there was something special about Chaumette. The setting is absolutely breathtaking and the location in Ste Genevieve allowed me the opportunity to have the winery wedding of my dreams at a price much more affordable than I was seeing closer to the city...especially for a winery. I can't say enough good things about Beth Caldwell, Director of Events, who I was lucky enough to get as my own personal Chaumette wedding coordinator. From day one, Beth exceeded my expectations in every way! I remember a friend of mine was also getting married at the time and was having issues dealing with her venue and the various vendors she needed to hire. I remember thinking how lucky I was to have Chaumette as pretty much a full-service venue, not to mention, Beth and her staff who did all the heavy lifting and guided me along the way. This made the entire experience very enjoyable for me and the wedding planning didn't feel like a chore. Chaumette also has gorgeous on-property villas that accommodate 2 up to 10+ people. Our closest friends and family stayed in the villas and it was such a treat to be so close to family and friends over the few days we were all there. (Shout out to Kathryn and Lindy for making my villa dreams come true! ) I must also mention that the food is exceptional at Chaumette. You will of course enjoy the delicious food and wine when you visit for a little planning and you will offer your guests cuisine unlike they have ever had at a wedding! Really. Good. g the grounds for the first time that we would marry there--we put down a deposit almost immediately and set our date for October 18, 2019. In the Spring of 2018, my now husband encountered some very serious health problems and was out of work, slashing our income in half. This put our beautiful winery wedding very far out of reach budget-wise, and we were devastated. It took me a couple days of reconciling how I/we felt before I decided to officially pull the plug with Chaumette. There were tears in my eyes as I emailed Beth, our amazing coordinator, and told her we could no longer hold our wedding there. I told her the winery was so special to us, and we were truly regretful for having to back out, but promised to give the winery our patronage for years to come. Beth emailed me back, expressed her condolences for my husband’s illness, and offered to transfer our deposit for the barn to pay the full cost of the chapel so we could still have the winery wedding of our dreams. Keep in mind people, this was a non-refundable deposit, I did not ask for it back nor would I. These circumstances were just as much out of my control as they were for Chaumette. They owed us nothing, and yet they moved mountains for us. She checked and sure enough, October 18, 2018 (our five year dating anniversary) was available and off we went. While planning the wedding, Beth was incredible prompt and helpful with every question or need we had. She did a fantastic job of organizing our silly peanut gallery family during the wedding rehearsal, and was there for every step on the big day—she even brought a coworker, Taylor with her on short notice so I could have the dramatic entrance I wanted. I cannot emphasize it enough—Beth was made for this. Even after the wedding, when some clothes got accidentally left behind, she was so nice and shipped the clothes back to me and charged it to the card we had on file and I didn’t even have to lift a finger. Incredible. We stayed in the villas the night before and it was perfect. It’s quiet and so peaceful. The vineyards were perfect for taking pictures in, the views are breath-taking, the food is WONDERFUL (we’ve eaten here multiple times in the past), and every single person who worked there (Tim, our favorite server in the restaurant, Rhonda in sales, Lindy the villa concierge, and of course Beth and Taylor) made us feel so special, wanted, and cared for in a way I have never experienced. I love this place from top to bottom and I could not recommend it enough. If you are looking for a truly special wedding experience, look no further than Chaumette. We will be loyal customers for the rest of our lives.

y don’t think I could have pulled the wedding off without her. She was a huge help in the months leading up to the wedding. She gave us tons of recommendations, helped us get organized, and coordinated all of our different vendors. She was there from start to finish at our rehearsal dinner making sure that we felt confident about everything before the big day. The day of the wedding she completely ran the show in the best possible way. She set up all of our decorations exactly how we wanted them. We had 18 people in our wedding party and she made sure that everyone was always where they needed to be. One of my favorite memories of Beth was during family portraits. It was late in the day, and I was extremely hangry, and she fed me bites of a granola bar in between pictures. This is just one example of how she goes above and beyond to ensure that you have the most amazing day possible. All of the staff at Chaumette are fantastic and so helpful! Food: To be honest, we picked Chaumette as a venue based on how beautiful it is, and we didn’t really think about the food BUT the food was incredible! We got married almost 5 months ago and we still get compliments on it. People went nuts over the mashed potatoes! We had at least 4 guests include something about how good the food was in their posts on social media after the wedding. Venue: The pictures make Chaumette look so beautiful, but I highly recommend taking a trip there to experience what it is like in person. It doesn’t even feel like you’re in the Missouri when you’re there. We had many friends call it the “Napa of the Midwest.” On the property you can see rolling hills for miles. We got married outside the barn and have the most beautiful pictures looking out over the vineyard. Accommodations: One of the best things about having our wedding at Chaumette was having all of our close friends and family stay on the property with us. Chaumette has beautiful villas and a pool right on the property. Having everyone stay together allowed us to stretch out the celebration over the entire weekend. If you are looking for a stress-free wedding in a beautiful location – look no further!

The landscape / setting is breathtaking so you honestly don't need much to enhance the venue (but can put your special touches however/wherever you like). Collins was my coordinator and an absolute gem to work with throughout the whole process. She spoke with all of my vendors ahead of time, made sure everything ran like clockwork and helped make the day that much more special. The food is spectacular, too!
