Chaz Heed Photography

Chaz photographed our wedding in April 2016 in Wimberley and we couldn't be happier with the pictures! He did a great job capturing the details of the venue, candid moments with our guests, and all of the special moments in between. He was very creative, personable, and professional. Definitely recommend him!

We used Chaz Heed Photography for both our engagement and wedding photos. Chaz goes above and beyond to get the very best pictures. I love looking at all my wedding pictures and feel so blessed to have my special day captured perfectly. I have to add too that Chaz is super thoughtful! Due to unforeseen circumstances, my mom was in the hospital and unable to attend my wedding. It was heartbreaking, but Chaz offered to take pictures with my mom once she was out of the hospital. We did and I am forever thankful! Most photographers would not do this! I highly recommend Chaz and will continue to use him for any photography needs.

One of my friends recommended Chaz for my engagement pictures, so I emailed him. He responded the next day and then corresponded frequently as we settled on a day and time. The day of my hairstylist was 45 minutes late for my appointment and so My fiancé and I were crazy late getting to the arboretum for our photos. Chaz was super nice and understanding about waiting almost an hour for us, and very efficiently took us to all he best spots. So glad he is very familiar with the Dallas arboretum so he knew just where to go! At the end, he only charged us for one hour of work even though he'd been waiting for us and we were scheduled for two (we couldn't go long since he had another family booked right after us). Just got my pictures back only three days after the shoot and they are GORGEOUS!!! Hope we can hire Chaz for our wedding also! Very nice and comfortable to take pictures with.

My fiance and I submitted an inquiry on his website for more information and to get things set up as we were excited about the possibility of using him for our upcoming wedding. It took him a week and a half to respond to us. At that point, he hardly gave us much of a response and did not answer any of our questions except that he was available for our wedding day. I responded to his email the same day, and never heard back even two months later. We have even tried calling him and leaving voicemails and still no return correspondence. We have since then found another lovely photographer (she's perfect!), but are very disappointed that we could not even get the time of day from him. Hopefully other people have better luck :)

Chaz takes beautiful pictures and is so easy to work with. You feel at ease with him and the results are great. He did engagements, bridals, and my wedding.

Chaz did a great job capturing both our engagement photos and our wedding day. He got so many great pictures and was extremely easy to work with! I really enjoyed having him there and he got so many great shots. It did take a little longer than I expected to get all of our pictures back, but Chaz was great to communicate with me and had given me a preview of several of the pictures and he was quick to remedy the length of time it took. My husband and I were on a tight budget for our June wedding, and Chaz was one of the first to catch our eye as a great value. His services are VERY affordable and we are so happy with our wedding pictures! They are every bit as beautiful and professional as those by the more expensive local photographers, and he gave us SO many photo memories to choose from. Chaz was so much fun to work with-he was quick, efficient, and got all of the shots we wanted as well as many surprises! I had concerns about the lighting during our time slot, but Chaz worked brilliantly with it to create stunning shots. He was very kind and flexible when a couple of things didn't go quite as planned. We have recommended Chaz to several friends and highly reccomend him to anyone seeking a wedding photographer in DFW!

We hired Chaz as our wedding photographer for our July 27 wedding and could not have been happier with him. Not only did Chaz keep up with me through email for months prior to our big day, he showed up early on the day of and had tons of photo op ideas ready to go upon arrival. He was prompt, extremely pleasant and the end result was amazingly beautiful photographs for my family and I to enjoy forever. Countless wedding guests commented on Chaz's ability to seemingly be everywhere at once during the wedding, and his photos prove that to be true! Chaz is a rockstar and a blessing for brides on a budget! When I saw his prices, I was skeptical, because he was so much more competitive than many of his counterparts, so we had him do our engagement shoot so we had time to make other arrangements if it didn’t work out. We didn’t even need the test run because he was awesome!! He showed up for the engagement shoot timely (we even got a little extra time out of him, I think) and did a great job. He had never worked with dogs before and we had two. Getting one dog to sit pretty for a picture is hard enough—getting two to do it is next to impossible. Plus, our older dog is blind and he gets scared around new people, which only made Chaz’s job more difficult, but you’d have never known it from the prints. Chaz has great instincts because he knew exactly when to hit the shutter button and it showed in the numerous great shots we got with the dogs. We also worked with holi powder and his editing of those shots was spot on. As for the wedding, he rocked just as hard as he did at the engagement shoot. Every time I something happened I wanted a picture of and I’d ask him to get it—he’d had already shot it. We’ve got half our pictures already and I cannot wait to see the rest. Chaz was great!

Chaz was fantastic! I got so many compliments on my gorgeous pictures and he always made us feel comfortable. He was such a ninja with the camera! He was everywhere at once and got so many wonderful, memorable shots. We did an engagement session with him and he made us feel so comfortable and we had such a good time with him through the whole wedding experience. He was fantastic!!

My wife and I were looking for an affordable photographer in the Dallas area for our wedding last year and the ones we looked at were priced well beyond our budget. Finally I came across Chaz' website and was immediately drawn to the amazing pictures shown as well as the affordable price packages he makes available. His mantra is making your day the most memorable not most expensive. On our wedding day he was the ultimate professional. We had to practically beg him to relax and take a break so be could eat! Aftet the wedding he was always available whenever my wife and I had questions and never tried anything shady like some vendors. He even had a sneek peak of almost 100 pictures already edited and ready for us to view within two weeks of the wedding. If you want a hard worker and true professional to take amazing pictures then edit them for you at an amazing value then you want to look no further and call/email/ send a carrier pigeon or something to this man. Good price for such a hard working photographer. Got to the church before my own mother, and worked hard all night! If he wasn't right by my side, he was with my husband or taking photos of our guests dancing. He seemed to be everywhere :)

Wow, Chaz was soooo awesome on my wedding day, he was on time and got perfect pictures all night. He did not even stop to eat!( I wish would have because we deserved it) He was at every spot and sooo friendly all night. He is affordable and did not slack on quality. He even told my wedding planner, who was rushing me to calm down because wedding NEVER start right on time, lol.( We were 10mins late because of makeup) I would hire in an instant because he is very worth it.

My budget was pretty tight when it came to photography. My search lead me to find Chaz. He has packages available for any budget. He was prompt and curteous. He was very patient. He has been in touch with me even after the wedding. He gives me updates on how my pictures are turning out. Chaz is amazing!

I wanted amazing pictures without spending a huge chunk of my budget on them. I googled for photographers and was not impressed with the larger companies; then I found Chaz. I was not bowled over by some of his work, but after meeting him and seeing his whole portfolio, I fell in love. He is incredibly easy to get along with and contact. We booked him in December for my October wedding. He answered any and ll questions I had throughout the planning process. We booked my bridal portrait session for July. He met us at the venue and worked his tail off! It was barely under 100 degrees and he WORKED IT! He had me do everything I wanted, plus some! He realized I was not as good with the "serious" photos and took the rest with me smiling. He had a sneak peek ready in one week. I was IN LOVE! They were BEAUTIFUL!!! The rest were ready in late August/early September and they were just as great. He was in constant contact throughout September and October, eager to answer anything I asked. On the wedding day he was there early! He beat me! There was not much to take pictures of at the time, but he found things. He was there when they unveiled my cakes and he got that moment. He followed me everywhere and when I asked for him to go picture the guys, he was there. He was everywhere during the ceremony. After the ceremony, when I was having a moment with my new husband, he was there to ca tch all the cute, sweet moments. He was super quick about those obligatory family pictures no one wants. He meant BUSINESS! At the reception......he was seriously everywhere at once. Even when I talked to some of my guests a few days after the wedding, they were so impressed by his ability to be everywhere. He would be at one side of the room and something would happen or go on and he would be there in a heartbeat with his camera. He got all of the pictures I wanted plus some. I ABSOLUTELY recommend Chaz. He is amazing. He is right up there with those $2000+ photographers.

After looking at many many different photographers and photography businesses online, we found Chaz. His prices are right there on his website, and they are the best prices I saw anywhere. He also gives you a disc with all your pictures on it and the rights to print whatever you want. Chaz was very professional and is a really nice guy. He's very easy to get in touch with, responding to emails usually within hours. Most importantly, the pictures turned out beautifully. We are not the most photogenic couple or the most comfortable in front of the camera, but Chaz got tons of great shots! I definitely recommend him to anyone!

We contacted Chaz after my fiance got home from Iraq to do an Engagement shoot for us. It was really short notice, but he fit us in! Since we were both from Las Vegas, we did not know much about Dallas and he suggested we take our pictures at the Dallas Arboretum. It is absolutely gorgeous there and we got some amazing shots. We had such a great time! His editing was great and extremely fast! He sent us half of the pictures about 3 or 4 hours after we left the shoot! The rest were finished within the next few days. We have almost 200 photos that we are completely in love with!! Bottom line: Chaz Heed does amazing work! And we have recommended him to everyone we know!!!

Chaz was amazing! Not only was his service affordable but the quality of his work is top notch. Every time I turned around he was hard at work, photographing every part of our wedding. The photos he presented to us were stellar, we could not have picked a better vendor for our wedding. Now I have wonderful prints that I can look back on and remember the beauty of my wedding.

I searched about 5 hours online comparing photographers in Dallas. I was getting depressed because everything was out of our budget until I found Chaz! He responded to my email quickly, we sat down face to face & I was impressed by his already-made contract. On the day, he showed up at the church at 1pm and stayed until we drove away at 9pm. He had a helper, so there were 2 camera angles for walking the aisle, at the alter, the church, etc. I was most impressed that he got so many shots of my guests (I think every couple), so they loved the pictures online also! We LOVE the way he edits the pics (he took a hot pictures of when we kissed/ the dip that was black & white). And even one outside in Dallas in July by the lake (we were sweating, but he brought his gear & camera) and the pic looks BEAUTIFUL! He editted my dress so the white pops in the green grass and the blue sky looks like heaven shining down. He has creative ideas for pictures and also took every one on my list (I gave it to him right before). He does a good job of capturing right at the right moment (cheers with champagne glass, bouquet in the sky, kiss during dancing). We were definitely 200% pleased with out photographer and about 5 friends have asked for his contact after seeing my pictures on facebook and hearing how affordable he is (our biggest concern for our wedding).

My husband and I were very pleased with our wedding photos that Chaz photographed for us. The photos came out very detailed with superior quality. I would definitely recommend him to someone I know, who would be getting married in the future. Great job Chaz!!!!

I was so thankful to have found Chaz. He photographed my bridal portraits and my wedding. I thought his work was excellent. I was extremely happy with both my bridal portraits and wedding pictures. His original shots were great but his edits and enhancements were awesome. Chaz was very easy to work with as well. His professionalism is oustanding. He was very prompt in responding to any questions and concerns I had. He was on time, easy to get a hold of, upfront, and he worked his tail off at our wedding ceremony/reception. For the quality of work and the amount of photos you recieve, his prices are unbeatable. Overall, I would highly recommend Chaz to anyone based on his ability to take great pictures and his professionalism.

Chaz was great! He took a bunch of great shots of not only us, but the guests as well. Photos turned out great - Chaz converted some to black and white for us, as well as did some touch-up.

Extremely easy to work with, very professional, and amazingly affordable. I couldn't recommend him enough. We love our wedding pictures, and working with Chaz was very easy. He was very responsive to questions and inquiries leading up to the wedding, and he arrived at the venue on the ceremony date almost a half hour before I asked him to be there. He provides poses and direction, and also has no problem in letting you do whatever poses or suggest whatever shots that you would like. I am so glad I found him, and hired him for our wedding. And that is not all. Chaz also had the best prices I found in the DFW area for a wedding. I really couldn't recommend him enough.

Can not believe how lucky I am to have found Chaz!! He did an amazing job and we had our pictures available to view within a few day and avaiable to print within 2 weeks!! That is apparently pretty rare in this industry. He was friendly, unobtrusive and completely professional. I would recommend him to ANYONE AND EVERYONE looking for a wedding photographer. And his prices are unbeatable! Grab him up while he's available.
