Kristin was prepared for our engagement shoot, showing up early to scope out the best locations. She also visited our wedding venue 3 weeks prior to plan out where we would take pictures during our wedding day. Kristin was awesome in getting my husband comfortable in getting our pictures taken which was a major concern of mine. She was also more than willing to use poses on my Pinterest board to get the photos I wanted. Lastly, the pictures turned out beautifully - very natural and colorful!

She definitely knows her stuff, she is very trustworthy, she is organized, and with her past of being a Motocross photographer, I knew that she would be able to get great shots despite my family’s inability to standstill and focus. During the wedding planning process, she was very attentive and helpful. If I needed a call to discuss any logistics or confirm any details, she would make herself available to talk. She always asked the right questions, and despite my perfectionist (slightly crazy) tendencies, she always provided me with validation in my comments and questions. However, one of the most honorable things about her is that she doesn’t take advantage of her clients. She will not try to oversell you, and she will hear you out about what you are wanting and looking for and plan with you from there. On the wedding day, she showed up early and ready to begin her photographing from the detailed schedule that she and I put together while planning. She never made me feel rushed, but she still managed to corral myself, 11 Bridesmaids, 2 Moms, and a grandmother without yelling or being overbearing. (Still don’t know how she did it.) Over the years, I have experienced so many photographers that would yell and/or treat everyone like children to get their attention, so finding Kristin, who is respectful and kind, but still capable of controlling the room was of great importance. While putting my photograph list together, she was concerned that we wouldn’t have enough time before the ceremony to take all of the photos that I wanted to, but she said that we would do our best. However, she helped us stay on top of the schedule, and we even finished pictures early. Only a few days following the wedding, Kristin had already provided me with an album sneak peek of some of our photos, which were AMAZING! I cannot wait to see the rest of the photos, which she said would only take a month. Kristin is very professional, takes her job very seriously, and truly wants to see her clients happy! I would absolutely recommend Kristin Cheatwood Photography, Kristin and her team successfully removed all photography stress off of me, the bride, from beginning to end.

shots of the reception were even better. She's an absolute gem. We're an interracial couple with a wide array of ethnicities and skin tones in our bridal party. Everyone was beautifully lit and balanced in every single shot, even with some harsh sun outside, dim mood lighting indoors, or full-on night shots. Not the case from SO many other photographers we checked out. Even in the year between our two events, it was clear how passionate she is about learning new techniques and upgrading her skills - she really loves doing this, no question. You won't find better portraits for such a fair price anywhere in Atlanta.

ygoing personality helped us feel at ease in both our engagement photo session and on the wedding day. On the day of the wedding, time got away from me and I was not ready for the shuttle that arrived to take us to the church. Kristin acted as a sounding board, helping me devise a new plan-- and I am so appreciative that she stepped up and offered advice! I was ill-prepared and did not provide Kristin with a list of photos that I wanted before the wedding. Despite this, Kristin capture nearly every photo we could want. The only photo missed was one with my husband and his parents, and this is likely due to the fact that we were kicked out of the church when we were taking family photos. My husband and I are not from Georgia, so Kristin suggested locations for engagement photos (Piedmont Park) and family photos (the area in front of St. Andrew's church in Roswell), and they turned out beautifully. All in all, I am so happy with our wedding photos! Thank you Kristin!

The pictures are amazing. She made us feel insanely comfortable. Was just the right blend of action shots and posed. I am so happy with all my pictures and can’t recommend her enough. It’s rare to find a true photographic talent outside of NYC or SF or LA but Kristin is up there with the best of them.

On my wedding day, I had an allergic reaction to my false lashes and my eye was BRIGHT red, but Kristin was able to take hundreds of photos and you could not tell at all that I was having a reaction. The pictures all came out great!
