They pride themselves on the versatility of genre. Cheers the Band can expertly cover classics of yesteryear and the hits of today, giving you the flexibility to customize your wedding set list with music from any era. As well as their indefatigable renditions of upbeat songs, this collection of vocalists and musicians can provide lower tempo performances for your ceremony or cocktail hour. These wedding entertainers refer to themselves as a self-contained act. Their lineup includes at least eight vocalists, rhythm and horn section, and their own lighting and PA system. Don Kreutzer is the bandleader. Don will have conversations with you and be very assuring that your event will leave no detail or stone unturned. However, all of your preparation will be for nothing because none of these details followed out on the actual day. Playlist, peoples names, etc.. The band was on break more than it actually sang. The band was also not in proper attire, especially for a black tie event. But the most heartbreaking of all was when Don called the parents of the groom, the wrong name on their entrance moment. Which of course, embarrasses, many and taints the wedding video. I am not writing this to be hurtful to this band or bandleader. I am writing this for others to be wear, and not have the same thing happened to them at their very special day.

Only hire Cheers the Band if you want a band that: - Will keep your entire wedding on the dance floor all night - Will have guests telling you for weeks that you had the best band they've ever seen - Has multiple singers and musicians who can play multiple instruments for a wide variety of music that always feels fresh - Will listen to and incorporate your ideas, but can also provide suggestions and direction if you are overwhelmed with choices or indecision - Has an extensive song list and the ability to learn new songs (with enough notice and sensibility) - Can provide cocktail music and dancing music, both of such high quality that your guests won't realize it's the same musicians playing both! - Works with your other vendors to ensure your wedding evening runs super smoothly - Goes out of their way to ensure that your special day is everything you dreamed of and more - Won't take up your entire wedding budget On the last bullet, I'm a little less certain, because I have a personal connection to the band and didn't get quotes elsewhere. HOWEVER, from what I've heard from other brides who booked bands, Cheers the Band's rate is not only reasonable for a 9-piece awesome band, but practically a STEAL especially when considering the quality of their performance, ease of working with them, and dedication they will show to your special day! One of the best parts about Cheers is, they regularly play public shows so you can even check them out in person! Get in touch and ask Don when and where they are playing next. You won't regret it!

Don and the band Cheers did an exceptional job at our wedding! We were more than impressed. The entire dance floor was packed all night and I cannot tell you the amount of family members that came up to us at the end of the wedding asking us for the band information. They are all very talented and fun musicians. Don is very thorough and easy to work with. His phone calls really helped us plan and prepare for announcements and events throughout the night. He provided excellent advice and he truly knows what he is doing! The band has a lot of experience and they were very accommodating for us. We look forward to going to see the band play in Atlantic City soon! We highly recommend the band Cheers!

We booked Cheers the Band for our wedding and it was amazing!! The dance floor was packed the entire night! They did such a good job at playing a wide variety of songs that kept everyone of all ages dancing. The band even learned Ants by Dave Matthews which was our final song of the night. Everyone went crazy on the dance floor when it was played! Don was so nice and easy to work with. He gave us so many music suggestions and helped us organize the reception events in a way that flowed nicely. If you are looking to have a wedding that’s one big party I would definitely book these guys!

Only hire Cheers the Band if you want a kick ass party! They were AMAZING. My husband and I knew they were the band for us the second we heard/saw them at one of their shows in AC. Absolutely outstanding! We have been married for 3 months, and still, "The band that played at your wedding", is the first thing people say to us when we see them! Not to mention Don, the band leader, was an absolute pleasure to deal with.

We were referred to Cheers the Band after being less than impressed by another band. Boy did we get lucky! Cheers the Band is amazing. I don't think the dance floor at my wedding ever had a spare spot. The music was so perfect they had to stop playing to get guests to sit down for dinner. They were able to really play towards all the guests no matter the age. Don was fantastic to work with ahead of time with the planning and walked us through what would work best for us. They were even able to accommodate our needs with ceremony music and cocktail hour music. This band is truly fantastic!

Cheers is the most amazing wedding band I have ever seen!!! I had seen them at my family friends' wedding about 5 years ago, and had mentioned it once to my dad, saying that I didn't care about any of the other details of my own wedding, I just wanted to make sure that I had Cheers. They then were the first phone call we made when my (now) husband and I had originally gotten engaged a couple of years later! Not only do they have multiple genres they can play, but they have multiple singers so it always feels fresh, and they definitely keep the party moving! We still have people calling us two months after our wedding saying we had the best band and the best wedding that they have ever been to! We didn't give them any songs lists at all, we literally told them to do what they do best, and keep people on the dance floor. They played a wonderful combination of oldies and new so that all age groups were represented and felt like they could take part on the dance floor. Slow songs, fast songs, dance songs, and good old Bruce were all represented for our Italian Jersey wedding :) All of their announcements were seamless, and they even had my little cousin play the guitar for my first dance with no hesitation. We are so grateful to Cheers, and Don (the band leader) for doing such an amazing job, that we can only hope our review steers people in their direction. They definitely bring it, hire them for your wedding if you can!!!

My sister had Cheers the Band at her wedding and my husband and family knew we had them again. They have such a good feel for the crowd and keep people dancing all night. They've got a really good play list with tons of current songs- they're constantly learning new songs. Only downside is that they are slightly disorganized on the business end of things. If you get Cheers the Band for your wedding, you will not be disappointed!!

If you want a party and I mean a party you should have Cheers the Band. We were up dancing before we even started dinner. This is a good thing because it set the tone for our wedding. People were dancing the entire night and there was never any awkward down time with no one on the floor. I wanna have another party just to have this band play again!
