The most delicious cake and vendor is great to work with! Gail has so much experience she makes the cake design process so simple! Visualize cakes with her Styrofoam models. She evens touches base with you a few weeks prior to confirm head counts and insure you have not had a change of heart on cake flavors! Speaking of flavors they are delicious! I cannot wait to eat the tier that we saved.

Gail is amazing! We wanted something different for our wedding cake, with fun and exciting flavors. She listened to us during our taste testing about our wedding style to help us make the best choices for our cake and design. She allowed us to taste as many flavors and combinations as we wanted. We ended up ordering Chocolate Merlot, Spice Cake, and Lemon Cake with Raspberry filling, all with buttercream or Irish buttercream frosting. I also ordered a birthday cake (Chocolate Merlot) for my husband for his birthday before we got married and she listened to everything I wanted for a mini Panther cake. Great to worth with! If you want different, fun, and delicious cake for your wedding or any occasion, then definitely call Cheescake Etc.

Gail is incredible! My new spouse and I only went to one cake tasting and knew Cheesecake Etc. was for us. Gail's way of tasting, having us choose three of our favorite cakes and fillings that we can mix and match, really helped us choose what we wanted. While we had our general sketch after meeting with her, the final result was beyond our wildest dreams. It was absolutely perfect and exactly what I was hoping for. The cake itself was so good that we didn't have a chance to get a piece for ourselves! All the guests were even taking slices home as leftovers. We definitely plan to recommission her on our first anniversary so we can try the flavor of the tier that we didn't get to take home.

Our initial tasting went so well. The cakes were delicious and we were told the design we wanted was doable. Come our wedding day, the cake was delicious but it appeared that it didn’t make the ride to the venue well. This was disappointing. We also found out afterward the price sheet for the cake was left out by the cake and several of our guests saw the price. We felt this was unprofessional and that the price sheet should have been handed to our coordinator. The cake was delicious, we just had a few hiccups come wedding day.

We got our wedding cake from Cheesecake, Etc. She did a phenomenal job with our cake! From start to finish she made everything as simple as possible. From helping us figure out what we wanted, making our vision come to life, coordinating with our florist for us, delivery, etc. The cake turned out absolutely beautiful and everyone loved it. We got compliments all night long on how good it was and by the end of the night the whole cake was gone! We were extremely pleased with the service from start to finish!

Gail made the best cake for our wedding! Every part of it was amazing. We selected vanilla pound cake with lemon curd filling and buttercream icing and all of it tasted fabulous. We had a cascade of sugar flowers that were so life-like they fooled some of the guests. Throughout the whole process Gail was very attentive to making sure she gave us the exact cake we envisioned. From the amount of lemon in filling to the decoration of the buttercream to the color of the sugar flowers. The final result was better than we could have imagined.

The cake was delicious and beautiful. The consultation was easy and fun, and everything turned out better than I would have imagined!

I could not believe my eyes when I saw our wedding cake. It was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! Gail outdid herself, and she was an absolute joy to work with!! She responds to emails in minutes, and is a true artist. We brought some pictures of cake designs to the tasting session, and she was able to sketch out a gorgeous, unique cake that looked better than anything we had envisioned. I have been showing the sketch to all of my friends for months, and it was an absolute show-stopper in person! And it tasted better than any of us could have hoped--it was GONE in minutes. Gail is absolutely amazing!! I gave her a vision of what I wanted our wedding cake to look like, I changed it 3 times, and she still made it perfectly! Not only was our cake gorgeous, but it tasted amazing. All of our guests commented on this too. We also asked for a small paw print on the back for our dog, and not only did she make this happen, but without even specifying, she put it on the top layer since this is the one we kept. Don't look any further, Gail can make you the perfect wedding cake out of any vision you have and make you the best tasting wedding cake you have ever had.

Cheesecake Etc. provided the cake at our wedding reception and it was perfect! I had to plan this from long distance and was able to email Gail pictures of the cake design/flavors I liked and she created a delicious and beautiful cake! Gail is a gem to work with! Our wedding cake looked absolutely stunning. It tasted just as good! If you like lemon/blueberry - I recommend it as a cake flavor! Additionally, she made our Grooms cake for our rehearsal dinner and took the time to perfect the colors because my husband is a VT Hokie and the maroon and burnt orange for his cake had to be precise. Lol! I will definitely use cheesecake etc. again for future events.

We loved everything about our wedding cake! Gail was wonderful to work with! It was so difficult to choose our favorite flavors at our tasting because they were all delicious (lemon curd was a-maz-ing). Gail had so many sizes and designs to choose from but was also open to creating what we had envisioned and she did not disappoint! She also worked with our florist to incorporate our flowers into the design and it turned out beautifully. When I was trying to purchase a cake topper from Etsy, she was quick to help me by sharing her opinion on size and color, which I really appreciated. I've been to a lot of weddings where the cake gets mixed reviews, but I can honestly say that people came up to us to speak with us throughout the evening about how much they enjoyed our cake. I can tell that she takes pride in her work and wants her customers to have the absolute best experience. That's exactly what we got!

The best wedding cake. Gail is very friendly and easy to work with. The cake tasting was free and we were able sample different cakes and fillings. Gail was able to incorporate my Pinterest ideas and she gives a drawing of your cake by the end of the session. The cakes are very affordable. We had a 4 tier cake with different flavors and the design was included in the price. Compare to other bakeries you pay extra for every design element. Our cake was very fresh and did not taste like it was baked days before. We choose a buttercream icing and it was also very fresh and rich. The cake stands are also included in the price and she has many to choose from. Overall, the quality and taste of the cakes are amazing, and the price can't be beat. My only regret was not ordering a bigger cake! We didn't have any left over as many guest requested a second and third piece!

From the tasting to the wedding day we had the perfect experience with Gail at Cheesecake, Etc.! The cake was delicious and Gail was fantastic! She responded immediately to any questions we had and made the day of the wedding delivery worry free. Two of our daughters were married this year, in May and September, and we used Gail for both wedding. There was not question that she was making the cake for the September wedding after the May wedding. Both cakes were beautiful and exactly what our daughters wanted!! Definitely a 5++ stars!!

Gail was amazing! I sampled her cakes at the wedding show and contacted her after that. From the very beginning when I contacted her to hear more about her company, to setting up the tasting and then having the tasting( her cakes were amazing and we knew we wanted to use her!) She has wonderful ideas and is very affordable for what you get. She was helpful and there when I needed her and my cake topper broke about 2 weeks before the wedding, I brought it to her and she fixed it for me. You won't be disappointed going with Gail!! We can't wait til our 1 year anniversary to have our cake again!! She also recommended our florist to us! Who was also amazing! She's knows a lot of people in the wedding industry!

We were so happy that we chose Gail with cheesecake etc for our wedding!!! Gail made our wedding cake 11/8/16, & & it was fantastic!! We had read a review that wasn't very good, so I was a little concerned, but there was no need. It was pouring rain thanks to Hurricane Matthew, but our cake was beautiful & fresh. We took some with us on our honeymoon & it was still delicious! I would recommend Gail to anyone. Gail made the absolute BEST wedding cake that I have ever tasted (and not just because it was mine). It was so good that I couldn't get our caking cutting photo right because I was too busy eating the cake! (LOL) But aside from the phenomenal taste, Gail made the entire experience absolutely amazing. My husband and I live in California and got married back home (in NC) so there was lots of planning and coordination from afar. Gail was super flexible and accommodating with my schedule and even worked with my friend who was my stand-in taster. Gail was able to match my "vision" and colors all over email. And meeting her in person, she's just as wonderful. If you are undecided, look no further. Cheesecake Etc is where you need to be!

Gail was a treat to work with and her cakes are incredibly delicious! I can't imagine there is a better tasting cake and for a reasonable price. Our guests raved about her chocolate cake and cream cheese filling, and we LOVED her almond cake with raspberry buttercream - and now I'm drooling just remembering it! Gail also quickly tied in the lace from my dress into the design, and she helped me keep the price reasonable despite a large guest list. Gail is the only baker you need (but go to the other tastings for the free cake!) She has the best cake, the best prices, and is the best to work with! She made us a 4-tier wedding cake that was straight out of the magazines and tasted so good everyone is still talking about it! Our wedding cake from Cheesecake Etc. was stunning and incredibly delicious! Gail had a wide array of flavors to choose from and our choice of Almond cake with cherry filling (plus an additional layer of Almond cake and pineapple filling) was a a total crowd pleaser. Gail herself is one of the nicest people we have ever met. She is kind, extremely responsive to email and messages and she is so very accommodating.
