We hired this vendor because they were hands down the nicest people we met. Every time we met with them they went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. We went in for two tastings. Both times, the experience was wonderful. The first time the chef even sent us home with slices of sugar cream pie because I mentioned it was my favorite. The second time they were at the new location and were quite busy, but they still made sure we had everything we needed and all our questions were answered. On the day of our wedding, the food came out even better than during the tastings. I wish I could have taken it home with me because it was so good and I didn't have a lot of time to eat. Every table mentioned how delicious the food was and a few asked who catered so they could pass the info to others. As a bride, that's exactly what you want to hear.

We absolutely loved working with Smokehouse Catering Company! Chef Chip is amazing and super responsive whenever I had questions! I even realized that I never fully turned in our contract until several months later and he was more than willing to still honor what was discussed. The food was amazing and the staff was so kind. The food is also a really good price for wedding food. It was easy to make sure that every guest would have something that they would like. Definitely check them out because you will not be disappointed!

Food was good, however one of our sides that we paid for was forgotten/not made. I reached out after the wedding and they were quick to rectify this and send me a check to reimburse for it, which I appreciated, however it was just an extra hassle I had to deal with after my wedding. Also, we were left with a lot of leftover food at the end of the night which we had to waste as we were leaving for our honeymoon. They packed up dinner quickly once everyone got fed and didn’t allow people a chance to go back for seconds which I did not I understand

I hate to update my review to this but I had to after last nights visit. The food, quality, quantity, people, environment has changed dramatically. Everything has been so inconsistent since my first visit. The group of people who where there need to be rehired because the taste of food and customer service has went down hill. Yesterday I wasn’t $40 on food that was nasty. I don’t know who cooked it but the only thing we like were the ribs. You can never come here anymore and get the same thing. You have some people who would give you nice portions of food, and some people who would weigh your food out of the scale, including the sides. You were able to help yourself to the sauces now your limited to what you get. And this started happening per pandemic. Sad to say but J will be looking for a new BBQ place in around the Greenwood area. The food taste has just been too inconsistent on taste. One day it will be great the next not at all and a minute of this was good but not that. And again, customer service has been lacking. Yesterday when I opened the door and walked in you could feel the atmosphere and vibe was just off.

These guys were awesome to work with. They worked with me to fully customize our wedding buffet. Our tasting was delicious and informative. I looked into so many catering options and these guys were great. Professional, experienced, and affordable. Sadly, Covid-19 through a wrench into the wedding plans, but even then The Food Guys worked with us and the customer service was top notch. Highly recommend these folks!

I gave Food Guys 3 stars for a few reasons. I would like to go into the Pros and Cons: Pros: 1) Communication was awesome! We changed things here and there they were always prompt and friendly to "cater" to our every need 2) The food tasted great! Everyone loved that we did a chicken and waffles setup! 3) The staff was well dressed and friendly, very professional and exactly what you would like and appreciate for your wedding catering 4) SO affordable. I poured HOURS of research into finding affordable vendors, and Food Guys definitely was a great deal for the money Cons: 1) The tasting that we requested went phenomenally. So when my caprese salad, which is my favorite, comes served as a bowl of spinach with chopped tomato and mozzarella on it, instead of served as thick sliced tomato, thick sliced mozzarella, basil leaves and balsamic drizzle like we had at the tasting... i get a little upset 2) Our setup was supposed to be stations. And it was definitely just a buffet line 3) The fondue was not worth the money. It was actually kind of an embarrassing setup, so i didn't even direct people to where it was to eat. All in all, everything went fine and the food was delicious... but there was some follow through that didn't occur for this event.

We had an amazing experience with Food Guys Catering Co. They worked with us on the bar package, which was helpful. The food was fantastic. My gluten-free guests were thrilled they didn't have to pick at veggies all night and that they could eat actual food! The staff was friendly and efficient. I was very pleased with them.

There is not much to say besides that the FOOD WAS AMAZING!!!! People are still raving about the food and I can't blame them! While the food was good at the tasting, we knew the quality could potentially suffer since they had to make it for almost 200 people, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that the food was still amazing!! Added bonus, we found out that most of their sides, including their rolls, were vegan. We had a lot of guests that were either Vegetarian and Vegan, and when Jenn told us the amount of things that were already vegan on the list, we were sold! I definitely recommend Food Guys! They are awesome, had great service, and helped to make our wedding amazing!

My husband wanted good home cooked country food, and we were served just that. We had fried chicken, fuji apple salad, green beans, candied carrots, and gouda & bacon mac-N-cheese. We also had BBQ sliders, shrimp cocktail, & cheese tray as starters. We were very pleased with the food, and the presentation. We did purchase our own plates, because I didn't care for theirs with our theme. Their staff was very present, & had our guests through dinner quickly (which is exactly what I wanted, less sitting- more DANCING!!)
