I can't say enough about this incredible catering company! Not only does she cater to all types of events—whether it's a wedding, corporate gathering, or community fundraisers—but ...
she does it all with a heart of gold. Chef Dora and her staff delivers an exceptional experience every time! As a non-profit, she truly puts her passion into every event, and it shows in every detail. The wait staff is beyond professional, kind, and attentive, making sure everything runs smoothly. But the real highlight was the beignet station—absolutely to die for! Absolutely out of this world! Warm, fluffy beignets with endless topping and filling options that kept everyone coming back for more. She makes every occasion feel special, and the fact that she’s a non-profit makes it even more impressive. If you’re looking for amazing food and service while supporting a great cause, choose Chef Dora Presents catering!
I am a wedding planner and just worked a fantastic event with Chef Dora! The menu she put together was SO delicious - everyone at the party was raving about the food! Her team on...
site was amazing to work with, and she took great care to make the presentation beautiful as well. At the conclusion of the event, load out was seamless, and her team left everything spotless. Leading up to the event, Chef Dora was super professional, organized, and easy to communicate with, and she made time to attend a site visit to ensure we had a solid plan in action. I will definitely be recommending her services to future clients and hope to have the opportunity to work together again!
I am a Corporate Events Manager based out of LA. We have used Chef Dora for our events, and I am here to tell you the team is amazing! Not only are they easy to work with and flex...
ible, but their presence at events is amazing. They really go above and beyond to not only make sure the food tastes good, but they also put a lot of thought into presentation which is very important! You should hire Chef Dora for your event, you won't regret it!

ught on Stuart Emery as her "right hand man" to help her growing company. Stuart is a perfect fit because he is the ultimate professional. He literally grew up in a successful NYC restaurant and has a passion for hosting that can't be surpassed. His gift is not his over-the-top experience but his LOVE for what he does. He and Dora are the perfect fit, and you will be the beneficiary.
If you want a wedding or special event that pays attention to the smallest details and has the highest quality products and people, then you need to meet with Chef Dora.
This was a birthday party invite
I am an event planner in the South Bay and have recommended and hired Chef Dora for many of my events (baby showers, bridal showers, cocktail parties, fundraisers, Bar Mitzvahs, mi...
lestone birthdays etc.) Dora has amazing customer service and is extremely pleasant and professional. She speaks to the clients about their vision and menu and comes up with something completely custom to their event. I don't think any of my events have had any of the same items (except for maybe her amazing coconut macaroons which are my favorite!)
Dora also has a meal delivery service to provide meals for people with certain dietary goals or restrictions. I think in general she tries to make her food healthy, but if you want something on the richer side she definitely has your back (cue in mashed potato martini bar with all of the toppings!)
I especially love that Dora brings decor for all of her stations and makes everything look really fantastic. It makes my life a LOT easier as a planner not to have to lug things to decorate.
Lastly, her staff is amazing and as customer service oriented as herself. It's a joy to work with a company that aims to please. In terms of cost, I would say that Dora is a caterer you would use for a special occasion. I would say her cost is similar to other high end caterers, but she will tweak your menu and adjust things to try and make it fit your budget. Sometimes it's just not possible. Clients need to be realistic when hiring a caterer, especially for a wedding. Food costs, labor, insurance etc. are all part of costs that caterers have to pay for, and they also have to make a profit. Anyway, contact Dora and you will have one worry off your plate when planning a wedding. She's awesome.

ays were amazing as well! One of the weddings she catered was for a close friend of mine, and she was telling me how great Chef Dora was to work with. I made sure to get her business card, and I always recommend her when I know someone who is looking for a wedding caterer/event planner.

Chef Dora ranks above and beyond my expectations.
