Chef Dora Presents

I am an event planner in the South Bay and have recommended and hired Chef Dora for many of my events (baby showers, bridal showers, cocktail parties, fundraisers, Bar Mitzvahs, milestone birthdays etc.) Dora has amazing customer service and is extremely pleasant and professional. She speaks to the clients about their vision and menu and comes up with something completely custom to their event. I don't think any of my events have had any of the same items (except for maybe her amazing coconut macaroons which are my favorite!) Dora also has a meal delivery service to provide meals for people with certain dietary goals or restrictions. I think in general she tries to make her food healthy, but if you want something on the richer side she definitely has your back (cue in mashed potato martini bar with all of the toppings!) I especially love that Dora brings decor for all of her stations and makes everything look really fantastic. It makes my life a LOT easier as a planner not to have to lug things to decorate. Lastly, her staff is amazing and as customer service oriented as herself. It's a joy to work with a company that aims to please. In terms of cost, I would say that Dora is a caterer you would use for a special occasion. I would say her cost is similar to other high end caterers, but she will tweak your menu and adjust things to try and make it fit your budget. Sometimes it's just not possible. Clients need to be realistic when hiring a caterer, especially for a wedding. Food costs, labor, insurance etc. are all part of costs that caterers have to pay for, and they also have to make a profit. Anyway, contact Dora and you will have one worry off your plate when planning a wedding. She's awesome.

Chef Dora has catered several weddings I have attended the past few years and each time she has exceeded all expectations! Not only was the food phenomenal, but her staff and displays were amazing as well! One of the weddings she catered was for a close friend of mine, and she was telling me how great Chef Dora was to work with. Chef Dora creates amazing food. She has catered a few weddings I’ve attended, funerals, and birthday party’s I’ve attended. Her staff give over the top service at all the events the whole time at every event I’ve attended. As a foodie, and an Elite Yelper, I’m pretty picky when it comes to food quality, taste, presentation, and service. Chef Dora ranks above and beyond my expectations.

They offer great packages for weddings from full dining, station foods, pre-packaged (covid friendly) meals, bar service, and staffing. Chef Dora and her staff are phenomenal. She has catered several parties for our family, and has gone over and above each time.
