Chef Gina made the most wonderful wedding cake for our big day! I showed her an image of what I wanted and she made my dreams come true! She was very easy to work with as well! And the cake was very tasty!

Gina’s work was amazing! She was super easy to work with and delivered a beautiful result. We ordered a lemon raspberry couple's cake, and my goodness, it was one of the best lemon raspberry cakes I've ever had. It was so moist, the frosting wasn't too sweet, it was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to come back to order another cake for our anniversaries!

It was amazing working with Gina for our 11/04/2023 wedding. We got a small vanilla bean cake to cut into and an assortment of pastries/cupcakes for our guests. As a chocolate girl, I didn't expect much from a vanilla cake but when my husband and I took a bite we were in awe of how delicious it was. Best cake we've EVER HAD! And it was also beautiful. She executed my vision perfectly and even help set up the dessert bar for us. Each guest I talked to had a different favorite dessert and told me how much they enjoyed them. You cannot go wrong with Chef Gina. Thank you for everything!

Chef Gina was so kind and easy to work with. I sent her a few photos of what I had in mind, and she was able to create something even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Absolutely stunning and delicious cake!! Guests were going back for seconds and we recieved multiple comments that it was the best wedding cake they had ever eaten! Gina was a dream to work with, was quick to communicate with us, and made our day so easy! Highly recommend!!

Gina was so responsive and easy to work with! She took so much time to answer all my questions. More importantly her cakes are amazing and delicious! My cake turned out exactly like I hoped. It was a 3-layer for a 175-person wedding. We had different flavors for each layer. We received so many compliments from guests about how delicious the cake was. AND It was so gorgeous, I was sad to cut into it! Definitely recommend - and not just for your wedding - I’ve ordered other desserts from her over the holidays and everything is so delicious!

Chef Gina was absolutely incredible to work with. She was able to accommodate my gluten allergy and make a completely GF cake. All of the celiacs in our family thought it was the best GF cake they’ve ever had. Chef also make the same flavor of cake in sheet cakes for the rest of our guests. She perfectly executed the artsy design I gave her for inspiration. And we hope to use her for future events!!! So happy!

Our wedding cake was gorgeous and delicious thanks to Chef Gina! She was very easy to communicate with during the tasting and planning process. We selected two delicious flavors - one for our tiered cake and one for our sheet cakes. We ordered extra, planning to share with family after the wedding, but our guests loved the cake so much that there was none leftover to take home! We continue to hear from guests just how much they liked the cake. We would recommend Chef Gina's Bakeshop for any baking needs!

Gina made our wedding cake and it was wonderful! It was both beautiful and delicious and we got multiple comments on how great the cake tasted. She was also super easy and quick to communicate with. I would absolutely recommend her!

We used Gina for our December 2022 wedding and couldn't be happier. We did a two tiered vanilla bean cake with strawberry jam layers. We also ordered about 200-220 macaroons. If you haven't had Ginas macaroons, you haven't had a good one. We will continue to use and recommend her to family and friends for events. She truly does a great job!

We absolutely loved our wedding cake from Chef Gina! From the moment we tasted her AMAZING buttercream flavors (the raspberry is the best in my opinion), we knew she had to make our cake! I had a specific vision for what I wanted our cake to look like & she executed it so well. Everybody kept telling us how beautiful our cake was & how incredibly delicious it was. I definitely recommend getting your cake from Chef Gina!

Chef Gina is not just a baker, but an artist! We hired her for our wedding cake and she did not disappoint. I stumbled across her Instagram page and fell in love with her work. I was unsure at first what style of cake i wanted until i came across her pearl cake. When i reached out to her on booking my wedding she was more than willing to help! I also share my wedding day with my mothers birthday. Gina even helped me execute a surprise birthday cake for my mom. Gina offers multiple flavors of cake and buttercreams. We went with a lemon cake and strawberry buttercream. She made us samples before deciding and it was a tough decision! For my mothers cake we did an almond cake with fresh fruit filling that was also delicious. The design of these cakes made you not want to consume it as they were too pretty to slice. Our wedding cake was a two tier white cake with various size pearls cascading from top to bottom. In the sun the cake shimmered like a real pearl. My mothers cake was a single tiered white cake with beautiful hand painted flowers of various colors. It was perfect for the fall season. Do yourself a favor and order from her! She also features an excellent dessert selection.

Our cake and deserts turned out amazing! They delivered everything timely and set it up beautifully for us. They also tasted wonderful!

Gina was nothing but wonderful throughout the entire process!! Great communication , very professional & AMAZING DESSERT. We did both a wedding cake and desert table, and got SO many compliments on both. The entire desert table was cleared by the end of the night, which I have never personally witnessed. Chef Gina did an outstanding job providing amazing desserts for my wedding this August 22’. We set up our tasting of deserts and food in love then! She has been so professional and easy to work with during this whole process. She arrived to our venue on time and the set up was gorgeous! Everyone loved her desserts and thank goodness my husband and I skipped the line because they were gone by the end of our reception! I was so impressed by everything and I just thank her for making our day amazing!

Chef Gina did a wonderful job providing a gorgeous cake and desserts for our wedding in Akron in August'22. The preliminary tasting was easy to coordinate, delivery was on time and without issue, the taste was wonderful, and the cake was absolutely beautiful. We hired Gina for our wedding cupcakes and cutting cake. The flavors were amazing!! They were also beautifully presented. She is very attentive and gives good input. I'm very glad we went with her for our cake needs. I will definitely be reaching out to her for future needs, 100% reccomend.

Dessert table was amazing! She was very helpful when changing our order last minute. Set everything up for us. Cupcakes were sooo moist and delicious.

Gina made the cake for our May 2022 wedding and it turned out absolutely beautiful! I provided Gina with a couple of pictures of cakes we liked and left most of the artistry up to her as we knew we wanted flowers and this is an area of expertise for her! Not only was our cake more beautiful than I could’ve imagined, but it was delicious! We went with carrot cake and cream cheese filling as well as white cake and buttercream frosting, and received so many compliments on how good the cake tasted! Gina was so easy to work with, sending quick responses to both emails and text message, and coordinated with our venue for delivery. Her prices were also very reasonable compared to others in the area. I would highly recommend using Gina for your wedding cake and am looking forward to trying more of her creative deserts for future celebrations!

If you’re looking for delicious treats and wedding cakes, stop looking and work with Gina! We had a fairly last minute dessert disaster where we had to find a baker within a month of our wedding during the busiest wedding season in history. Gina was incredibly communicative, offered great guidance on what to order, how much, and even helped me determine the design of the cake. Her team delivered and set up the desserts and there was almost nothing left by the end of the night- a sweet success! The wedding cake was so delicious and I plan on visiting her every time I’m in Akron to stock up on treats. The wedding cake matched my vision almost entirely and looked unbelievably good with our custom cake topper. Thank you to Gina and her team for helping make our day even more memorable.

I was struggling to find a baker that I wanted to use for our wedding when I came across Gina. She very quickly corresponded back and forth with me, always answering all my questions. We ordered a tall tiered, semi naked, carrot cake with cream cheese filling and cinnamon buttercream. It didn't disappoint! It was super tasty and beautiful!
