Jes is AMAZING!!! I absolutely loved everything she made for our big day. And everything was absolutely beautiful. We got married in May and we are still getting compliments about our desserts. We had a dessert only reception and it was perfect. I will forever be dreaming about the fruit tarts and the amazing cake... Jes is incredibly kind and a joy to work with!!!

Chef Jes was truly AMAZING! She went above and beyond from our tasting to the wedding day. Our cake was exactly as we pictured/described and uniquely us. Not only was the cake beautiful, but it tasted fantastic! We also had cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies for our guests. She made everything from scratch and all of our guests raved about the desserts. She had multiple “extra” serving sets in case we didn’t have one, but she polished our set on the wedding day to ensure it looked perfect in pictures. Chef Jes was extremely professional and such a pleasure to “work” with from start to finish. We loved/love her!

We cannot say enough amazing things about Jes and the cake (and cupcakes) she made for our wedding!! From the offering of design ideas and table decor, to the cake tasting session, to the beautiful display on the big day - we could not have asked for a better experience. The only difficulty we had was narrowing down all of the amazing flavor combinations and options to our final choices! From the very first contact, Jes was incredibly responsive, detail-oriented, personable and professional. And the cake and cupcakes she made were both gorgeous and the best we've ever tasted (no exaggeration). Jes is simply one of the very best at what she does. We assure you, you will not be disappointed!!

Jes was the BEST! She had a wide variety of cake and icing options (all of which were so delicious that it was hard to choose). Additionally, she was extremely knowledgeable about her craft; she didn't bat an eye about adding gold leafing, sugar flowers, and other advanced details. And WOW! It looked fantastic! Jes was friendly, professional, and very easy to work with. She was our favorite vender we worked with.

Where do I even begin with Jes!? She is so talented, her work is draw-dropping, and made us the most beautiful creations for our wedding day. Not only is Jes amazingly creative, her professionalism and kindness is undeniable. When we went for our cake tasting, Jes had the most beautiful arrangement for us and went over every detail and captured our vision for our wedding day. Though, COVID had other plans, we had to cancel our original wedding date and we moved our wedding 6 months later on Halloween. This was not an easy decision and Jes was so kind to make us a small wedding cake for my fiance and I to share on this special day anyways. A few weeks before the new wedding date, I decided to change everything to black and a more moody feel. Jes was so kind and had zero issues drafting new designs to really make all of my black wedding cake dreams come true. It was the most beautiful and elegant wedding cake and dessert display I have ever seen in my life. Not only did everything look beautiful - THE FLAVOR IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. Jes makes French style cakes that are lighter and you can taste all of the flavors than you are able to with American style cakes. If you are a cake lover, she is the one for you. Jes will forever be my "go-to" for all future events in my life. Thank you for everything!

Jes was an amazing baker for our wedding. She captured our fall themed wedding perfectly, and the cake tasted great. We had two different flavors, and could not pick a favorite! Her kindness and dedication especially show through her work.

Jes McConville made the BEST cupcakes and cake for our wedding. She had so many different flavor combinations that you could pick from. And all the decorations she used for our wedding fit perfectly with our theme, and btw she made the decorations for the cake from scratch! My wedding was a few months ago and I still hear my guests from that day raving over the cupcakes! They were so wonderful!

Jes was an ABSOLUTE ASSET to our wedding. She is not only wonderful to work with as a person but she also bakes amazing confections. She made us a beautiful wedding cake and it was delicious. I’m not even a big fan of sweets and I LOVED IT. When we told Jes we wanted more than just a cake (that we wanted multiple mini hand held desserts as well such as tarts, cream puffs, mousse, pies etc) she not only agreed but she went above and beyond. She was so flexible with these requests and everything was delicious and beautiful. I couldn’t have imagined working with anyone else. Would recommend 10/10 to anyone :)

Jes made cupcakes and two cakes for our wedding. She e mailed us and asked what our vision was for the day and during the taste testing she had multiple flavors for cake and icing. She took notes on what we said and our reactions to each individual cake and icing. She set up on our wedding day and came early. She was very professional with our guests and they all said how awesome she and the desserts were. She took down her station and cleaned everything around her area. We have already had a couple people ask for her information to help with their event.

Chef Jes was such a blessing for our wedding. Not only is she an amazing person to get to know, but she bakes and designs an amazing cake! We had her create a tiered and custom designed cake and several different flavored cupcakes with her homemade jams, and all within just several weeks!! We could not be happier with Chef Jes and her quality work. She went above and beyond and was very affordable. We will never go to anyone else for our baking needs. You can’t go wrong when you hire Chef Jes!

Jes is amazing! We were panicked when our venue mentioned they didn’t make cakes in house anymore and suggested we use Jes. She was quick to jump in and offer her services and ease our concerns with our wedding cake. She went out of her way to reschedule and meet us when deciding on cake flavors and getting info for what we wanted our cake to look like. She was very helpful and accommodating in every way! Everyone has raves about how good the cake was, and my family has had many different cakes! We will definitely be reaching out to her for other events as her cakes and their flavor can not be rivaled! Thanks for everything and making our cake so delicious!

Chef Jes was amazing! She was quick to communicate with us and make our wedding day perfect! Our guests said her treats were incredible! Jes brought my vision of a birch tree wedding cake to life with a birds nest and our initials painted on. Her artwork was phenomenal and the taste of the cake and cupcakes even better. She worked flawlessly with our ideas and vision and went above and beyond fitting those wishes. The caramel apple spice cake and the pumpkin spice cupcakes were among my favorite cakes I've ever had. When I looked at local bakers for our wedding cake it usually came down to boring flavors and picking out a generic design from a book. When it came to work with Jes it was a 100% personalized experience! Jes dedicates her time to her couples and delivers perfectly what you want for your cake in every detail. Jes is hands down the most wonderful pastry artist I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! She’s done several events for us in the past, so it was no surprise when she totally knocked our wedding out of the park! From the amazing quiches, scrumptious scones and the literal jaw draping cake, every little detail was perfect. Working with Jes was an absolute joy! Our wedding cake was a vision to behold, and it tasted even better! Working with Jes was one of my favorite parts of my wedding. She totally custom designed our cake to fit us perfectly and we could not be happier! Chef Jes did my wedding cake for my wedding & it was absolutely PERFECT! She was a pleasure to work with from the first day, when she spent over 2 hours with my fiancé and I at our tasting! She had lots of cakes to taste and told us a lot about how her cakes are made. For her flavors she has a huge amount of choices! She completely understood what we wanted to drew it up for us right there and then! I wasn't worried at all about the cake. The cake arrived & looked gorgeous & tasted even better!

Oh my goodness! I never thought I'd have such an amazing and show-stopping cake for my wedding, but Chef Jes is absolutely magical!!! Everyone was in awe of our wedding cake! We felt like family and royalty at our tasting appointment as she chatted with us about what we were dreaming of while pouring us champagne. Not only is Jes super sweet, but her cakes taste amazing! I am a very picky eater so everyone joked that I wouldn't even have a wedding cake. Jes's cakes are delicious and we were blown away by her wide range of flavors and talents! Her cake is so moist and flavorful and light we instantly knew it would be perfect for our day. I have had cakes, and other delicious treats, made by Jes at several birthdays and other celebrations. Jes makes the kind of cakes that you will keep a picture of on your phone so that you can brag about them to friends, family, coworkers, random strangers, and especially frenemies.

Having our wedding cake from Chef Jes was THE highlight of our reception. Every single guest raved about how delicious and beautiful the cake was. At the cake tasting, Jes was ready with ideas based on any flavor we mentioned, even flavors we mentioned jokingly (like bacon jam!). Because of her skill and imagination, we were able to have a delicious cake tier with rosemary and brown butter flavors, which was even more delicious than I could have imagined, and I don't know of another baker in the area who would be willing to do something like that. Jes is amazingly talented, and also just an awesome person. You won't regret choosing her.

We've worked with Jes for a bunch of events, most recently a semi-casual reception for friends and family in Ohio. Jes never fails to produce the most delectable and beautiful desserts. I came to her with a request for desserts that would please my family in rural Ohio, but also incorporate tropical flavors from my husband's home country. We ended up with passion fruit, hibiscus, and key lime macarons, miniature pavlovas with jam and berries, tiny tiramisu cakes in chocolate tart shells, and a number of other unbelievably delicious treats. In short, you can't go wrong with Jes. She delivers the best desserts, with incredible professional service, and offers affordable prices.

Jes is seriously the best!! I have worked with her on two separate occassions and could not have been more impressed. Her talent far surpasses all others. She is the sweetest person and always goes out of her way to give you exactly what you want! I would highly recommend her!

Jess's talent really is phenomenal. I mean this on any dimension you rate her on. She is one of the nicest people ever, but also one of those intuitively artistic types who can bring to life a theme, dream, and desire. Add to that her cakes are simply delicious (she did my best friend's wedding cake as well as a good friend's birthday party), and I promise you'll be hard pressed to even get a bite of her stuff once the crowd gets a taste! I spent much time before my own wedding lamenting the fact that she had moved and was no longer available in my state to make a cake. If you have a chance to use her services or eat her delicious art, consider yourself very lucky!

We requested Jes to make our Wedding cake back in August 2015. The cake itself and the flavor was absolutely outstanding! She really brought my image of what my wedding cake would be like to life. I highly recommend Jes for all your cake needs if looking for something special.

We were lucky enough to have Jes create a dessert buffet for two of our daughters' weddings and each time her talents took our breath away! Jes paid attention to every little detail and even recreated the lace from our daughter's wedding gown in the cake frosting. Jes is a pastry artist and her talents created a centerpiece for our wedding decor that many of our guests said was above and beyond anything they'd ever seen. OH, I must mention that they taste even better than they look, if that's possible. She was a delight to plan with, from the initial tasting to the final arrangements. Throughout the process, she became a friend. When we remember these two special wedding days, Jes will always hold a special place in our hearts for what she added. Five starts are simply not enough!

It seems I have known this wonderful young woman all of my life, but it was through my youngest son, Kristoffer, that our paths crossed in life. A remarkable woman she is!! I loved surprising her with Christmas ornaments for her wedding gift...something that was quite unique as is she. My first "order" of her exquisite talents was with a 'Snowflake' cake. It was SUPERB!! I needed it for a 40th anniversary of our business and her design came through with great admiration. There have been many more in between orders (R2D2 birthday cake, sculpted anniversary cakes, Sunflower varied flavors birthday cake, even a teacup varied flavors birthday cake), and upon each one, the recipients were 100% plus with satisfaction!! I am so glad we have her wonderful presence in our Holmes County. Thank you, Jes, for all you do!!

Jes makes amazing, magical cakes! I don't think any dark magic was involved, but I'd try one of those too. Cupcakes and cookies are top notch as well.

I've worked at a top resort in the Florida Keys and Jes' cakes blow them away. Every time I make it back to Ohio for a celebration, my family has had Jes make the cakes and confections. EXTRAORDINARY!!!! She also made a surprise birthday cake for me with a not so subtle nod to Dale Chihuly's glass creations and I'll never forget it. Jes made a pumpkin spice cake for my father in the shape of a pumpkin and I still show off the picture of it. If only everyone that sees it was lucky enough to taste it too. Thanks Jes! While I cannot review a wedding cake yet, I cannot say enough about the beautiful, flavorful, and delightfully unique birthday cakes that she’s created for me in recent years. I look forward to wowing my wedding guests with a cake by Jes in the near future.

Jes has made my daughter’s last 2 birthday cakes. The first one was a Minecraft cake and the next one was a Harry Potter cake. Only giving her a few ideas and requests she totally blew us away on both cakes. The flavors we chose were delicious. The detail she puts in to a cake is top notch! The cakes are so amazing you almost feel guilty eating it.

I haven't confirmed it yet, but I'm fairly certain Jes uses dark magic to create her cakes. They are amazing to see, and equally as good to taste. Her ideas are seemingly endless, and she will go out of her way to get things just right. Quite the gem hidden in the quiet hills of Ohio.

I am only giving 5 stars because I can't give more. She is an amazingly talented chef! I have known her personally for years and am a better person for it. She make the most picture perfect delicacies that are always delicious. We recently had her handle my birthday cake and cupcakes. Someone there are 5 cupcakes. As a matter if fact, I never tasted one because they were all gone when I went to get one. She has done wedding cakes, birthday cakes, and others for my family, and couldn't ever name a flaw. I have a friend who drives 4 hours round trip for birthday cakes for his young childred. I would definitely recommend her to anyone for any occasion. Her personality is very pleasant, as is that of her family. She truly lives her craft and her work shows.

Jes is AMAZING! We absolutely love her and have had such great experiences utilizing her talents for multiple occasions. For our wedding, we wanted a naked cake, and she went above and beyond our hopes and expectations. For the tasting, we were given a plethora of samples for icings, cakes, and more. Jes was easy to talk to and helpful--answering all our questions and offering thoughtful suggestions. Did we want the cake to look uniform on the outside but hidden flavors on the inside? Did we want to have tiers of different flavors and icings? Did we want the chocolate to be a little more earthy or dark? Those were just a few of the many options we were given when discussing our perfect cake. Frankly, I was blown away by all of the choices we had at our disposal--I had no idea cakes could be so customized or intricate! The cake arrived promptly and in perfect form on the day of our wedding. And I have never seen a cake as beautiful or tasted one so delicious! Jes is a dessert and cake wizard and I cannot possibly recommend her highly enough! My other recommendation: Book her early, because people know how crazy awesome she is and she gets real busy during prime wedding season. :)

It was a special day my birthday and she made the most awesome and beautiful cake I have ever seen and it tasted as wonderful as it looked .I have never had such a beautiful cake she is the best and so amazing she puts her self into each cake. I hope one day I can have another one. :). Thanks Jes

Jess made and delivered our wedding cake. Not only was it delicious, it was beautiful. It has the lyrics from our song on it and these amazing sugar flowers. My family loved the leftover cupcakes and instead of eating freezer burnt cake on our first wedding anniversary Jess made us a “topper” cake free of charge! She is wonderful and helpful.

Jes made a cake for my wife's birthday. My wife Keisha is a huge fan of Miyazaki films, and Jes had no problem making a wonderful confection featuring characters from her favorites like My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, and Howl's Moving Castle. It was a delight. The cake was almost as wonderful as the look of surprise on my wife's face! Jes also made Doctor Who gingerbread men as a surprise for my birthday, and is doing a birthday cake for my son as well, and I can't wait to see what she comes up with for it! Jes is super-talented, friendly and personable, and will bring joy to your special event with her dreamy confections. Highly recommended!

I’ve ordered from Jes for three very special occasions and have also been to events where her pastries have been served. Her creations are always the stars of the show! The only things more impressive than her incredible pavlova and gorgeous cake designs are her attention to detail, creative spirit, and enthusiastic, upbeat attitude. I would never hesitate to recommend Chef Jes. She’s the best!
