Ryan went above and beyond for us from the dreaming stage to making our menu a reality, we could not have been more impressed! The food was incredibly good and he took our goal of having predominantly local menu very seriously, and was able to coordinate delicious local meat, fish and produce. We will definitely hire him again for our next event!

Chef Minded Farms was exceptional for our wedding, and I can't say enough good things!! We had mahimahi with luau leaf, and venison curry as mains. Both were delicious, and the display was perfect. Ryan is a good guy, a pleasure to work with, and is a masterful chef, who uses primarily local ingredients, much of which is grown or raised on his family farm in Hana. I highly recommend Chef Minded Farms if you plan to get married on Maui.

We were lucky enough to have Ryan O'Connor from Chef Minded Farms cook our wedding night dinner for our elopement. We sat on the lanai of the condo we rented in Hana as he and a colleague cooked and brought us course after course of absolutely delectable food. The fish was fresh and expertly prepared, the produce was straight from the garden, and the service was impeccable. It truly was the highlight of our wedding day and we still talk about that meal years later. The whole process was extremely simple and we let Ryan drive the menu based (and while we didn’t have any food allergies, he mentioned he would be happy to work around them.) They were well prepared, cleaned everything up after and were charming company.
If you’re thinking of hiring them—do it! You won’t regret it.

We believe that memories are made with all of the available senses. In addition to the sights and sounds, we knew the smells and tastes (and feels) were important to our wedding weekend in Hana. Truly thankful for Chef Ryan, Chef Jon, and the team at Chef Minded Farms, for giving us so much to cherish and look back on.
They were able to cater an entire weekend for us, two full days of meals. Everything was served family-style and they paid very careful attention to the plethora of dietary restrictions and needs our families come with. The ability to grow and source much of their own food says a lot about their values and commitment to the island of Maui.
Operationally, they are full-service, communicative, and honest with what they offer. We got sample menus well in advance, had many phone chats and it was quite easy to organize everything from the mainland. Once at our destination, they were already setting up and ready to go with very few questions for us, all helping to keep our wedding intimate and focused. Its obvious that Ryan and Jon's commitment to excellence cascades down to every member of the team. Everyone is friendly, knowledgable, and attentive.
We couldn't be more pleased with our experience, and will be talking and reminiscing about these memories from CMF for years to come.

Gorgeous venue space! Private, spacious, and bursting with greenery and flowers everywhere you look. Incredible for photos and the feel IRL. :)
Food was insanely delicious! All our guests said "best wedding food ever". Could certainly taste all the love and attention that went into creating it!
Working with Ryan was also such an enjoyable process! He is so nice, friendly, responsive, and accommodating.
I would 100% recommend hiring Chef Minded Farms!
