. Her tasting box offering to pick your wedding cake is fantastic and gives you so many options to personalize just what you would dream of. She also has a wonderful selection of additional desserts outside of cakes to accompany. One of our favorites were her macarons! Her quality, price and customer service are unmatched and she her ability to design and make beautiful desserts is second to none!

area that were all wonderful but after we had Nancy's taste box we knew she was the winner, it was just a matter of deciding what flavors! We chose 2 - strawberry cake with chocolate ganache filling and lemon cake with raspberry filling - both delicious! Nancy is not only a talented baker (and chef) but is also so easy to work with and has very reasonable pricing. She also has a plethora of cake stands you can rent and generously baked a separate smaller 1-year anniversary cake for us to freeze, free of charge. Overall a wonderful experience!

Chef Nancy also operates so seamlessly and professionally: When we did our tasting, the icings and cakes were perfectly packaged in individual containers so we could mix and match to find the perfect combination of flavors. Because of the personalization, we were able to customize our wedding cake to taste exactly the way we wanted. Nancy was incredibly open to and receptive of all of our design inspiration as well.

We favored a dessert bar with a dozen different treats rather than a wedding cake, and she offered several tantalizing options to choose among, from tarts and cookies to cupcakes and mignardises, including some Gluten Free options. All were delicious, without exception. She was prompt with delivery, communicative at all stages, and a breeze to work with. Her policy on COVID delays was compassionate, her advanced tasting was generous and also reasonable, and her end-products were fantastic. My wife and I cannot endorse her strongly enough. We went for a tasting and it was hard to narrow down which flavors we wanted and were lucky enough to have quite a few on our wedding day. I didn’t care about having some extravagantly designed multitier cake, I just wanted a simple cutting cake, with a lot of treats to back it up! We had three different flavors of her “kitchen cake” (carrot/caramel filling, chocolate/espresso filling, and red velvet/white chocolate filling), sea salt chocolate chip cookies (TO DIE FOR), and per my special request as they’re my all-time favorite… cinnamon rolls! On top of all of that we also had donuts, and I’m not exaggerating when I say there wasn’t a crumb of any of it left. We received a ton of compliments on how delicious it all was. She also was so sweet and accommodating with providing us a separate anniversary cake, and even some dairy-free cupcakes for my lactose-intolerant MOH free of charge. Highly highly recommend Nancy!

I loved that we were able to choose multiple cake flavors and icings to try at the tasting.  She even allowed us to bring our parents along to try her cakes, which other vendors did not.  At the tasting she did not pressure us to make any decisions and really allowed us to mix and match all of the flavors and icings.  She even had my dad's approval, which is hard to come by! We chose Nancy because she was genuine, willing to draw our cake design on the spot, and her cakes tasted ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We all left the tasting feeling good about her being our cake vendor.  Her cake was the most anticipated thing about our wedding! A few months before the wedding, I changed the design of our cake.  She was patient with us as we wanted the 5-tier cake to have flowers in between each tier. She truly listened to our request for the design and worked with our floral vendor Hitched. On the day of the wedding, I couldn't have been more happy with how the cake turned out.  It was better than I imagined and she really made the cake of my dreams.  Guests were in awe of the design and how awesome it tasted.  We purchased personalized cake boxes for guests to take slices home.  However, I'm happy to report that they were not used because there wasn't a single slice left! Nancy truly knocked it out of the park with her professionalism, design, and expertise!

She gives her couples an extra anniversary cake-topper for free, packaged up in a neat little box for us to keep in our freezer. We cannot recommend Nancy more highly! She's incredible! Our guests raved about every single one, but my groom and I didn't even see the apple tarts they were gone so fast! Very few of the other treats were left at the end of the nights as well, and we got so many compliments. We highly recommend working with Nancy! She made everything so easy, not to mention delicious. If you're looking for the perfect Cake/Sweets baker, Nancy is your gal!

ing. We did cake tastings with 3 other prominent KC bakers, Nancy was the best… no one came close. We challenged Nancy with our cake design and she exceeded all our expectations. The wedding cake had the KC skyline and art deco designs. One of the groom’s cakes was the Starship Enterprise and the other groom’s cake was a humpback whale. They were almost too perfect to cut, but once we did, the cakes were delicious! We would recommend Chef Nancy to anyone and everyone with dessert needs.

She was responsive to all my requests and questions about my allergen, set up a cake tasting that was a highlight of our wedding planning, and delivered a gorgeous, sinfully delicious cake (not to mention blueberry and key lime tarts that I still dream about). My guests (who regularly eat gluten) were blown away that all of my desserts were free of gluten, and they ate every last crumb.

We had about 240 guests and had ordered 350 pies. So my only regret was not ordering more! We came by the cake table and saw that she had delivered the cake and cut and arranged the loose flowers I'd left for her. I only provided one picture of what we hoped for and it was just what we'd discussed and more. Though we ordered enough for our guest count, we actually ran out of cake because so many had seconds! It was not only beautiful but delicious. No one seems to remember the cake at weddings, but we are still hearing from our guests how great it was.
