We couldn’t have been happier that Chef’s Pride catered our wedding. The food was so good, multiple guests expressed how delicious everything was. Working with Larry couldn’t have been easier and communication was great. I would highly recommend attending the annual food tasting, we went with a menu in mind and came out wanting everything he fixed for the tasting because it was so good!

Larry and his team did a phenomenal job with my wedding catering. Everyone enjoyed the whole pig, delicious food, and kind, hardworking staff. If you’re looking for a professional, responsive, easy-going caterer who supplies delicious food, Larry is your man! He catered for us at Jordan Valley Barn in East Jordan and although he had never been there before and never worked with them, the staff at JVB was raving about how great and professional he was—they told me they are going to edit their “Preferred Vendors” list to have him on top! He usually responds to an email within 12 hours (even if I hadn’t been corresponding with him for a month or so), which is SO AMAZING when wedding planning! The food, of course, was perfect too; I had many guests tell me how great and impressive everything was!

Larry was absolutely phenomenal throughout this whole process! He was incredibly responsive and professional. Any time I had any questions, he answered right away or called back quickly. He was kind enough to accommodate my vegan/food allergy guests with separate meals. We were a 2020 covid couple that had to reschedule and he was very flexible with us and we are so grateful to work with him. At the food tasting he does, I had the opportunity to speak with his servers and they adore him. Not only that, but some of my other vendors know him well and everyone sings his praises. It says a lot to me to hear such good things from employees and vendors. Last, but certainly not least, his food is AMAZING! We loved our food and all of our guests did too!

My Husband and I cannot say enough how AMAZING Larry and his staff were for our big day! Larry is professional, responsive, and the food was phenomenal. Everything stayed hot for our buffet dinner, Larry and his staff had everything set up and cleaned up in a very quick time frame, the linen provided was perfect, bartenders were amazing, etc. We had tons of compliments from guests stating it was the best wedding food they've ever had! If you're looking for an incredible wedding dinner, look no further!

Larry was awesome to work with. Very responsive, always answers his phone calls, willing to talk and discuss planning. We got so many compliments on the food from our guests at our daughter's wedding in Frankfort MI. There was also plenty of food, we did not come short. He was so easy to work with and really put together a menu that fit our requests and needs. I highly recommend Chef's Pride Catering! 10 stars if it were possible!

Look no further if you want a caterer who will listen to everything you ask and then provides flawlessly! I was very insistent on wanting a 'green wedding'; recyclable/compostable products, etc. Chef Larry went above and beyond to make sure to provide this as well as serving delicious food that our guests still can't stop talking about!

Larry was amazing! He made sure my mom (who has celiac) was safe to eat the food and wouldn't get sick. His food was amazing and he is clearly very passionate about his job. His entire team was great and very helpful the whole night!

Amazing doesn't begin to describe Chef Larry's food. We were disappointed we couldn't get more of it becuase we were so busy doing our bride/groom duties and greeting our guests. The food was so fantastic, our guests all went back for seconds and devoured the rest of it. Chef Larry and his team made our day delicious and amazing and it all went so beautifully. Chef Larry was amazing! He was so nice and fun to talk to while deciding what we wanted for our wedding day. We had a cocktail party the day before and he drove up to our venue to pre-deliver the linens and punch bowls. The food was amazing and the staff was excellent and so nice! Chef Larry was so accommodating and easy to work with. He eased any stress we had about having this large wedding. The food was fantastic and his staff was superb!!! We highly recommend them for your event! I cannot day enough good things about this company!

My Husband and I are both chefs and when it came to picking out a caterer for our wedding we were a little nervous we wouldn't find a company that would meet our high expectations of food and service. We hired Chef's Pride for our wedding on 9/9/2017. Larry is so amazing to work with. The food was so incredibly awesome people came up to us all night raving about it. We did the southwest buffet (which I highly, highly recommend, it was like taco bar but way way better), and we also had him do our desserts which were incredible. I loved working with Larry throughout the process, and his food and staff were wonderful. I absolutely recommend Chef's Pride to anyone and everyone!

We hired Chef's Pride for our daughters September 10th wedding. The food was incredible and two weeks later I am still getting compliments on the catering. Larry is also a dream to work with. I can't say enough about how pleased you and your guests will be if you hire Chef's Pride.

Larry was very helpful. He helped to make sure that everything went smoothly. We had a lot of complements on the food. The people he brought with him were incredibly helpful and professional.

My husband and I got married in July, we had nothing but the best compliments from guests on the food. We were however disappointed with how a certain situation was handled on the day of our wedding. I had a conversation with Larry about 1 week prior to our wedding day confirming our food options and that we had 8 vegetarians he proceeded to tell me no problem he was going make a vegetarian and also vegan friendly stuffed pepper and to just inform our vegetarian guests that they need to ask for that at the reception. Our wedding day came and I was informed from Larry's staff that there were no stuffed peppers, at first I was panicked and then came to a mindset that it was alright and we would just make due with what we had, Larry came over apologized and told us the stuffed peppers never made it on the sheet and he apologized. We said no problem and moved on from the situation and informed our guests of the change. Our photographer (who was vegetarian) pulled aside towards the end of the evening for some "golden hour" photos and I apologized to her for the mishap with the vegetarian option and she then informed me that Larry actually pulled her aside and told her that we had never even talked about a vegetarian option over the phone or at all, and I was instantly upset. I wasn't upset that they were forgotten because we all make mistakes but we were very upset that he had pulled one of our vendors aside and lied to her. I've reached out to Larry to discuss our disappoint with how the situation was handled and I have yet to hear from him. Although the food was great we were very upset with how he handled this particular situation.

Larry at Chef's Pride Catering did a spectacular job for our outdoor summer wedding! Larry was easy to reach. This was something that was very important to us, as we were planning our wedding from 4 hours away! Chef's Pride provided us with such an authentic and unique menu to choose from. The service was incredible and the food was even better! Our guests provided us with nothing but positive feedback regarding how the food tasted! Larry also worked with us within our budget and made it a point for himself to be at our cocktail hour and reception in order to make sure that everything ran smoothly! We were also provided with the opportunity to do a tasting prior to our wedding in beautiful Traverse City, MI! We would highly recommend Chef's Pride Catering!

Chef Larry and his team are every bride's dream come true! The food is amazing, the team is very professional, and Larry is so organized that he literally takes care of everything. Not only was the team great but the food was as well. The service even when it was raining never let up. If you are having a wedding in the Traverse City area I would highly recommend doing a tasting with Larry. You won't be disappointed!
