I have recommended Bruce Soffer and Chef’s Table several times in the 1 ½ years since he catered my older son’s Bar Mitzvah to perfection, and look forward to working with him in a year for my younger son’s. Aside from the food being exquisite and gorgeously presented, Bruce was helpful, honest, attentive, creative, patient, and accommodating in discussing how to best work within my budget to make the event as enjoyable as possible for my guests. It was a pleasure dealing with him in the days leading up to the event. His staff was discreet but made sure everything was taken care of at the kiddish, took pictures of the spread for us, and sent us home with neatly packaged leftovers to enjoy later. I recommend Chef’s Table for anyone planning an important life cycle celebration, large party, or professional affair, and know that Bruce will deliver above and beyond expectations.

Bruce and Ava Soffer were an integral part of two Bat Mitzvahs that we threw for our daughters. Bruce, Ava and the Chef’s Table team flawlessly executed Friday night dinners for out of town guests (50 people), Shabbat Kiddushes for 300 and a Saturday night dance parties for 150. Meat, dairy, on-site at Ansche Chesed or off-site, hot, cold. They can do it all. Creativity, care and pride are hallmarks of Chef’s Table. Ava will take your vision and transform any room into a wonderland. No matter what your budget, Bruce and Ava will give you your money’s worth. It was a pleasure to deal with Bruce and Ava. This is one area of your simcha that you will not have to worry about. The food will be delicious and plentiful, the room will be beautiful and your guests will feel very well taken care of.
