Hey hey! I'm Chelsea - A documentary style wedding and elopement photographer from Red Lodge, Montana. I'm gonna give it to you straight- If you're looking for a photographer who is down to earth, fun, fluent in fbombs, who's artistic and is going to take care of you through all your "awkward" feelings of being in front of the camera - well....I might be your girl. With my couples, we go from strangers to "I swear it feels like I've known you forever." That's why I'm diffrent - I care about your expereince with me just as much as I care about the art of visually telling your story. Buckle up babe and lets dive in... I'm here to honestly document and preserve unfiltered love as it prevails - because YOU and your partner are worthy of an artful narrative. I put a strong emphasis on my relationships with my couples because trust always comes before art. To create something legendary, we have to build a foundation first. I want to know: Who you are, what you do, where you come from, how you found one another, the way you see the world, the hard shit you’ve been through, what remains when burnt to bone, marriage and what is really means to you and all the ways you romanticize the ordinary things. I am intentional in my collaborations. Because you are more than a client, and I am more than an intimate wedding photographer (with bad dad jokes and a mouth like an outlaw). As an artist, I tend to attract sentimental, unapologetic humans who are not only rebels with lovely causes, but find conviction in my artistic process. The truth is I am not a surface level person. So your experience working with me won’t be either. Throughout my time professionally photographing weird and wonderful little love stories, I’ve realized the weight of my work. That’s why I do my very best to show up radically vulnerable, from beginning to end, as both your friend and your shutter happy guide.
