About this vendor
I'm Chelsea, the face and the camera behind Chelsea Rousey Photography. I am madly in love with this job, and to photograph your wedding is truly an honor. I always come away from a wedding on a cloud. I come away feeling like I’ve just experienced something beautiful and one of a kind and momentous.
For me, a wedding has always been a grand beginning. Rather than “the best day of your lives” I want to help commemorate the “first day of the rest of your lives”. Making the brave decision to turn two separate storylines into one rich and lifelong narrative is about much more than just one day. Your wedding is about celebrating the people who helped you along the way, the perfect moments of new love as well as the lessons in the imperfect times when things don’t go according to plan. It’s about celebrating the love that you have for each other that’s brought you to where you are today.
I blend fine art and documentary photography to tell your story with bright, timeless, emotive imagery. My Wedding Collections are designed to ensure that your story is told exactly how you want it to be. I celebrate all genuine expressions of love.

Chelsea creates something truly BEAUTIFUL in her photography! She is beyond skillful and professional. I knew I was in wonderful hands throughout my wedding day with Chelsea. She s...
eamlessly works with you and any other vendors to help the day flow smoothly all while taking beautiful pictures. You will not be disappointed!!!
Chelsea did a beautiful job capturing our wedding day, engagement photos, and my bridal portraits. Before each session, she took the time to ask us exactly what we wanted so she co...
uld handle it day of. It meant so much (and make it all feel easy!) to give her an idea and know that she would follow through. Chelsea helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera and we love her photography style that makes it all look effortless. We will 100% use Chelsea in the future and I still find myself scrolling through our 650+ photos in my free time months later! We will cherish these memories forever!
Chelsea was amazing to work with on my wedding day and leading up to the wedding. She is caring, reliable, and relatable. Her photos are STUNNING as well. She will consult with you...
as many times as you need leading up to the big day and make you feel comfortable on the day. She even went as far as to run to her car in the middle of photos to get her own water bottle for my husband and me--thank you, Chelsea, you are a life saver. She's just lovely to work with.
I love Chelsea. My planner gave me her name, and booking with her was the best choice ever. Her style of photography is very light and airy, which is why we were drawn to her. She...
took our engagement photos downtown New Orleans and they are everything and more. She was able to totally capture the lightheartedness of me and my then fiance. ON our wedding day she was very professional and got everything done in our allotted time. She stayed organized by sending us a schedule a few weeks before. I cannot say enough good things about this woman she is such a great vendor. We have not gotten our full album back yet ( because the wedding only happened a week ago), but the teaser photos are so gorgeous so I know the rest of the pictures will be too. I also did a boudoir shoot with Chelsea. I was super nervous, but she made me feel super comfortable and knew how to make me pose and made me look like a real model. The now husband LOVES them. If you are on the fence about doing boudoir please give it a try.
Chelsea was super easy to work with and such a sweet person! She was very responsive when emailing & texting. She even showed up early on the day of our wedding which gave us time ...
to relax and take extra shots that weren’t on the itinerary. I’m am beyond satisfied with how the photos came out. We even got a sneak peak the morning after the wedding, which we were super pumped about. She got everything we asked for and more. I highly recommend Chelsea!
This review is long overdue, but we could not be more ecstatic about having Chelsea as our photographer. Since our very first phone call, I knew Chelsea was the obvious choice. She...
really goes above and beyond to understand exactly what you are looking for and is honest about her style and work ethic. She is a great communicator and is totally on top of her work and preparation for what needs to be done. She made us feel so incredibly at ease during our engagement shoot and the photos turned out absolutely beautiful. Chelsea is also just a lovely and kind person to be around. Our only disappointment after the engagement shoot was that we won’t get to see Chelsea again until the wedding! Book her—you won’t regret it!
Chelsea did a great job on our engagement photos! She is easy to work with and makes you feel comfortable behind the camera. We had a great experience. Thanks Chelsea!
We found Chelsea on the Knot and reviewed her work on her website and decided she was the best choice out there for what we wanted. We reached out to her last minute for a session ...
at NOLA's City Park and Chelsea showed up on time and ready to give us the best experience possible! It didn't felt like we were posing, she engaged with us and even got my husband to look natural in pictures lol (he always looks super awkward. We have received tons of likes and comments on our pictures and they turned out beautiful. I can't say enough good things about Chelsea. I hope she stays in business for a long time and we will be reaching out to her for future photo shoots as our family grows.
I honestly can't recommend her enough! Our experience was amazing, she went above and beyond helping before and during our big day, she listened and understood what we wanted, and ...
our pictures are GORGEOUS. A five star review doesn't do her justice. I highly recommend.
