We searched around for different venues and selected Chemung for a few reasons. Number one was pricing - the cost for the room and the ceremony with all the things that it included...
couldn't be beat. Most places added on the set up fee for chairs, extra for this or that. Overall - the ceremony outside by the large trees was stunning, the banquet hall was large with plenty of room. Pam is AWESOME and took very good care of us. There isn't anything I wouldn't change. I STRONGLY recommend this place. We were on a tighter budget and it was still elegant and just beautiful. I almost forgot - the food was delicious!! Pam cooks it herself, we received so many compliments on the food!

e else that I looked. The shuttle to the hotel was convenient, the servers excellent and the food. . . Two months later and my friends are still talking about the amazing food! I hope to be a guest at a wedding here soon so that I can eat some more!
I loved everything all of the night. My husband and I got first hand service at the buffet, drinks were always filled and they cleaned up any messes made.

ht was when the bar closed, I was very upset that we lost an hour and so was my mother-in law who had paid for it. In addition at the end of the night while waiting for our shuttle back to the hotel the staff literally kicked myself and the rest of my wedding party out of the venue! My girls were freezing in their dresses and none of us had cell phones on us!
Other wise great service and great food for prices! :)

It was on the golf course so it was beautiful looking outside.;Be sure that you clarify what is included and ask about the linens, how far they go down, if they are pressed, etc.
