I visited Cherie with my mom to see if I found a dress I liked more than the simple one I bought for my European wedding. I love the mission of second hand dresses supporting their non profit partner. The shop is very cute and bright and a lovely selection of dresses. The dresses are still quite expensive (speaking as someone who doesn’t care to spend thousands on a dress I’ll wear once. most are $1-2K plus alterations costs) and the experience didn’t match my expectations for a bridal experience. The young woman working there was a bit gruff and unprofessional. They don’t do in house adjustments and are final sale so you are taking a gamble as to what the cost of adjustments will be as tailors need to see the dress in person. Most estimates I received for hemming and bustling the dress were 3-5x what the girl at the shop suggested they would be (which was more expensive than the dress itself). It would’ve been a more comfortable and cohesive experience if they had an associated tailor to give accurate quotes, but perhaps that’s the value in traditional bridal shops. When compared to the same dress second hand online (stillwhite.com), Cherie had priced the dress several hundred dollars higher. It’s a $25 visit if you bring up to 3 people with you, but $75 if you bring 4. Not really sure why they charge extra as all they need to do is put another chair in the room. They don’t provide anything else like champagne or snacks, so really no cost to them. Just odd. It’s final sale, can’t give accurate quotes on adjustments, don’t allow holds (even for 24 hours) so you can think about or get quotes for adjustments, so you are taking a $1-2k gamble. I have a seamstress friend who was able to give me confidence in the dress I liked and able to make the adjustments despite not doing bridal adjustments professionally, so I was willing to take the gamble. The young woman overcharged me for the dress, wanted to take my card to go pay for it in the back room without bringing me to a register or bringing in a card reader. Again, odd. If my mom hadn’t loved the dress so much, I would’ve passed on it as the experience was completely lacking for the cost of the dress. Some simple changes could make the experience feel more personal and professional since the shop is so cute, the prices aren’t cheap, but the experience was very underwhelming.

Loved our experience at Cherie! They provided helpful advice on how to go about the process of finding "the dress". They have a beautiful selection of dresses in a wide variety of sizes. Found my dress and got some great suggestions on tailoring needs. Great price, great value, even better mission!

was not planning on purchasing my wedding gown in Maryland as I live in southern Alabama. I was visiting my family who live in Maryland when my aunt recommended that we book an appointment at Cherie’s. When I arrived for the appointment, I was warmly welcome by my consultant, Allie. Allie created a safe space for me to voice my likes and dislikes in regards to certain dress styles and details. I was able to find my dream wedding dress at my appointment, and I truly felt like a bride. It also made me happy to know that the dress I chose was previously worn by another bride on her wedding day. It is incredible to think that this dress has made two different brides feel so beautiful. I am incredibly grateful for the wonderful experience I had at Cherie’s. I would recommend Cherie’s to any bride that is looking for their dream dress.

I went to Cherie’s for my dress this past weekend and let me tell you it was a phenomenal experience. Tori was amazing and really helped me see the vision that I had in my head for the dress. The selection was wonderful, prices a chef’s kiss and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. If you are a bride on a budget and want something great…this is your store! Hopefully won’t need another dress but if I do, I’m going here first. 💜

Allie was amazing! She let my family and I pull any dresses I wanted to try on and after we went through those, she picked a handful and found my dress! She made me feel so comfortable and it was more amazing than I could have even imagined!

I visited Cherie this past weekend with my sister and two friends to find my wedding dress and the entire experience was amazing! The store itself was so pretty and had a huge selection of beautiful dresses. My consultant was very kind and patient. I never felt any pressure to make dress decisions I wasn’t ready for. I was able to find a dress that I loved and purchased it for my wedding next year. The gowns in the store were affordable and I ended up spending less than half of what I originally budgeted on my dress. It also felt great knowing that that the dresses at the store promote sustainability and that all of the proceeds benefit their nonprofit Success in Style. After the appointment my friends that came with me said they were coming here to look for their dresses when they get engaged. I highly recommend checking out Cherie Sustainable Bridal!

This past Thursday I went with my mom and my sister to try on dresses at this shop I’ve been eyeing up on Instagram for a long time! @cherie.sustainable.bridal I loved the thought of a dress worn once getting another day in the spot light. Some brides left notes on the tags too. There are also lots of sample dresses(which mine ended up being)🤍🤍I am a thrift/ consignment shopper so I loved this idea. I didn’t know what to expect but my experience from start to finish was magical! I went to many places to try on dresses with my sister when she got married and Cherie was top notch! Their location is amazing, so cute and clean!!! The staff was so sweet and welcoming, and my favorite was that she gave us time to ourselves to talk and think and take everything in to make a good decision! It’s appointment only so we had the whole place to ourselves to shop!! Highly recommend checking out this adorable shop

I had such a great time at Cherie Sustainable Bridal. I have been trying to make sustainable choices for every aspect of my wedding, and this really helped. My stylist was so nice and we had a lot of fun going there. Even though the options are limited by stock, I still had enough stuff in my size to be able to try on 8 dresses. I had previously gone to Kleinfeld's and found it very overwhelming, so the limited stock of Cherie actually helped me narrow it down! I highly recommend it.

This bridal shop is filled with gently used beautiful bridal gowns in all sizes and styles. The customer service was excellent and I was able to try on 8 dresses and this help me determine that an off the shoulder fit and flare style wedding dress is my preference! I highly recommend Cherie for an affordable wedding gown.

10/10 would recommend!! I have been to 5 boutiques now but I bought my reception dress here. They have stunning gowns at stunningly low prices. They have gowns of all sizes, which I didn't appreciate until I visited a big boutique that didn't have sample dresses for me to try on in my size. The space itself is beautiful, the stylist was so sweet without being overbearing. I have a few more appointments, but I found a dress here that I will most likely come back to buy.

Cherie Bridal was there last minute when I thought my original dress was ruined and I began searching for a replacement with only 10 days to the wedding. Their selection is great and very organized. My consultant was super helpful and showed me everything but also didn't pressure me into purchasing. I've been to Cherie Bridal twice and each experience was great!

Wow! I’ve visited bridal shops all over the DMV and Cherie’s was by far the best experience I had. The space is beautiful, the selection of dresses is fantastic - so many more styles to choose from than a typical shop - and Jeanette was incredibly generous with her time, wisdom, and pinning skills. I tried on 5-6 gowns and walked out with my dream dress - thank you, Cherie’s and Jeanette!

I would recommend this place to anyone. Not only is the mission amazing, but they have such a great selection of dresses for excellent prices. I got the perfect dress for 1/3 of the original price, and it hadn't even been worn to a wedding before! The woman helping me picked up on all the things I liked/disliked in the first couple of dresses I tried on, and then picked me out the perfect one. I was worried that there would be too few options given that they're all donated, but I had no issues at all.

Had the most amazing time at Cherie! Allie was an amazing dress consultant and made me feel so special and comfortable. I had two friends who've bought their dresses here and now I'm a third! Absolutely a must visit! I love the whole message of this shop and am so happy that this is where I was able to say yes to the dress! The shop just feels like magic and is not intimidating at all which is something I appreciate. I actually visited 3 times because I just couldn't figure out what I wanted. Allie, who I worked with on my last two visits, was absolutely amazing, patient, and so kind. (So was the young woman on my first day, but I can not remember her name). She did not make me feel bad about the fact that I had to try on the same dress 3 different times. She let me try on a variety of styles and never complained when I asked her to take a dress off the mannequin. I can not give this place enough stars and if I can part with my dress after my wedding day, you can be sure it will be at Cherie's ready for the next bride!

Such a lovely experience! Lots of gorgeous dresses at various prices (I saw $125 through $4800). Most were $500-$1000. Allie was a great help and very patient. It’s a beautiful shop and a very relaxing atmosphere.

I had such an amazing experience at Cherie Sustainable Bridal. They went over and beyond my expectations and were able to help me find the dress of my dreams🥰😍🥰 for an affordable price. 😊 I have been talking about the experience to others for about a week😊😊😊 and still in bliss over it! I had such a personal experience of trying on several beautiful dresses. Its almost felt like they shut down the entire shop just for me. But that was how intimate the experience was one client at a time. Allie the bridal dress consultant made sure she helped me get in all of them. All of the dresses she picked for me were perfect...almost like she read my mind to a T !!! I definitely didn't get the same personal experience at the major bridal shops... When it was all said and done I was torn btwn two dresses.... The dress I choice needed no alternation and fit me prefectly. Which was another expense I didn't have to worry about!🤍🤍🤍

So many styles, silhouettes, colors, sizes and price ranges. There is definitely something for everyone. I have seen Cherie in Savage Mill for several years and loved the idea of a secondhand dress. My friends and I went for a fitting this weekend and the second dress I tried on was the One. First dress shop I went to and immediately fell in love. I didn't quite know what to expect, but Cherie has racks of dresses - many many dresses in each size and a wide variety of styles and price ranges. They also have accessories and veils.

My mom and I went to Cherie Sustainable Bridal together and had an AMAZING experience with Ava, the stylist. I went in with low expectations because I hadn't seen anything at other salons or online that matched my vision. Ava and my mom were a fabulous duo, running around together finding potential matches. We were about to leave after I had tried on 6-7 dresses, and then we found the one!! Ava was creative and relentless with suggestions to make the dress different and unique --bringing over different veils, accessories, and detachable sleeves to bring the look together. Besides how helpful they are, (and even if you don't find your dress) it's worth a visit because the space is so cute and private (no other conflicting appointments or comments from the peanut gallery). A big draw is also its sustainable model - buying a dress means you're supporting those getting back on their feet and reentering the workforce (success in style). HIGHLY recommend! I found the dress of my dreams at Cherie Sustainable Bridal and also had an amazing time shopping there. It was a perfect experience and I would recommend it to everyone. The consultant was very knowledgeable and fun, it was obvious that she really loved being there. I wanted a unique blush dress and found something I have not seen anywhere else for less than half of my budget. Truly a dream come true! I couldn't be any more happy :)

After visiting several bridal boutiques I was told about this shop and man am I glad! I was struggling to find a dress that fit what I was looking for and within my budget. I met with Ava for my appointment and ended up leaving with my dress the same day! Ava is friendly and well informed of wedding dresses, possible alterations, and their inventory. She requested that I select a few dresses that I was interested but then she was able to go pull other dresses I never would have selected for myself but ended up loving! I will be telling all of my friends who will be getting married to make a trip to this shop!

10 out 10 would recommend for the experience only. The owner is super nice and really believes in her mission to make dresses more sustainable. They have plenty of options but if you are plus sized there is a much smaller amount. That being said I am plus sized and I did find a beautiful dress. Most dresses are under 1000 and all the dresses are beautiful.

I had the best experience at Cherie’s!! It’s such a quaint, warm, welcoming, and beautiful place to shop for your wedding dress!! My mom and I had the whole hour to select dresses and for me to try them on - just us in the whole place. We never felt rushed and everything just flowed. Super affordable and amazingly sweet and helpful staff. I especially loved the privacy- you get the whole shop to yourself during your try on appointment. I had no intention of actually pulling the trigger and buying my dress that day, but I did! It was the perfect dress for the perfect price.

Cherie was everything I needed. I went with my sister, best friend, and mother to wedding dress shop at 2 other stores first, and by the time I got to Cherie I was *so* charmed by their atmosphere, supportive and warm customer service, and the selection was gorgeous to boot. All of the dresses were carefully selected for beautiful, like-new quality. I walked away having "said yes to the dress," with room in my budget to make some custom alterations to truly make the dress my own. ALSO their mission is beautiful, and it felt so good to know my purchase would go towards something meaningful.

Cherie was a great experience! Ava was very patient and understanding and gave us her undivided attention for the entire appointment. We were able to find the perfect dress and spending money in support of a great cause made for a great day. We were even able to find a Mother of the Bride dress at their sister store. I would definitely recommend checking out Cherie's selection before heading to a traditional store.

Purchased a bridal gown from Cherie's and was unable to find a seamstress near by that could alter the gown. Since many weddings were cancelled last year due to covid they were booked solid. Cherie's would not refund my purchase. I had to purchase another gown that only required minimal aterations. I would never recommend.

Highly recommend checking out Cherie Sustainable Bridal! I went in January 2020 with my sister, after a fitting at a nearby bridal boutique that I did not enjoy. Ava was so helpful and willing to work in my price range, giving recommendations to try but also letting us browse. She didn't rush or pressure us at all. I found a dress that fit me perfectly and was everything I wanted - plus got a veil for $25! I donated my dress back after the wedding, and they gave me a coupon for $20 off their sister store (Success in Style)

This a long overdue review. I actually went to Cherie Amour twice once in November 2019 for fitting with just my mom and then in February 2020 with my mom and sister. Both fittings were lovely experiences. I felt very taken care of by the Cherie Amour employees though not smothered or pushed. It all just felt very relaxed. I'm embarrassed to say that I forgot both assistants names. I only remember that the November assistant had a British accent. Cherie Amour has a good selection of dresses in a range of sizes. It was perfect for me. It wasn't overwhelming the way a David's Bridal sized store might be. And the prices are incredibly reasonable compared to what you would expect at a new dress boutique. I actually bought a dress at both fittings. At the November fitting I bought a little, short, simple dress for a court house ceremony my husband and I had in December 2020. It was just $50. And I plan on reusing it for bridal shower or rehearsal of our church wedding. At the February fitting I bought a dress for our big church wedding a reception that has been postponed due to Covid. I also bought a veil, that the Cherie Amour employee expertly matched to my dress. As per usual for me I bought probably on of their most expensive dresses it is a Justin Alexander dress for $2,200. Most of the dresses are cheaper because they have been previously worn but I of course feel in love with a dress that had just been a sample dress at another boutique so it had a higher price tag. If you do buy a dress that has been previously worn they come with a cute little note from the previous bride. I can't recommend Cherie Amour enough. It is a lovely boutique plus you can feel good about reusing a dress that typically gets worn once and then sits in a closet.

I found a perfect dress (my friends gasped "that's so... you!") after trying on just 4 options, all lovely. It needed very minimal tailoring and still had tags on! It was affordable, unique, and a very laid back shopping experience. I wasn't looking forward to the task of having to shop for a gown, but Ava made it pleasant and low key.

She had the ability to envision how a dress may be customized to my desired style. She suggested I remove a polka-dotted lace top portion of a dress to achieve the elegant, strapless neckline I wanted. So I did! After a tailoring fiasco with another vendor she not only referred me to a wonderful seamstress but followed up with me via text multiple times to ensure everything had gone all right. That added care and concern was most appreciate during what can be a stressful yet wonderful time. Don't hesitate to support this shop that serves a great cause.

I would recommend Cherie Amour to any bride! Making an appointment was easy. They have the dresses organized by size which is very convenient. The lady who assisted me was helpful but not pushy. I found two dresses that I really loved and also liked the idea that you are helping others while buying your dress. The dresses are either donated by brides or samples from stores so they are in really good condition. They also have veils, shoes, jewelry, etc. so it's definitely worth the trip!

Cherie Amour was recommended to me after my cousin got her wedding dress from them last year! I went to Cherie Amour back in May 2019 for my October wedding and had such an amazing experience with them and found the dress of my dreams! The shop is filled with a wide variety of dresses of all shapes and sizing at great prices. This was the first and only place I went to look for my dress and came out with exactly what I was looking for! I worked with Ava during my visit who was kind, calm, efficient and definitely helpful in my search for the perfect dress. After trying on ten or so dresses, I found the one and was so happy with how it came out! Cherie Amour is a great boutique for wedding dresses and their mission statement is another reason to make an appointment with them. I highly recommend them based on the wonderful service I received. The shop is set up by size to help with organization, and the dresses each come with a lovely note from its original bride. The prices are incredible as well! While I did not find my dress here, I enjoyed my experience and would definitely recommend!

I had the whole place to myself (they're appointment only) and the specialist was very knowledgeable, not to mention fast with doing all the buttons on the back of some of the dresses! Within two hours I had found the perfect dress, at a deep discount than what I would have paid otherwise. The studio has tons of natural light and lots of styles to pick from.

In looking for a wedding dress, resale, consignment, charity, sustainability, were my priorities. I stumbled upon this shop and made an appointment on a whim. Ava was so sweet and patient with me. The shop is well decorated and stocked with incredible gowns of all price ranges. And I mean ALL price ranges. I found my dress for an incredibly affordable price and even accessories! It was a wonderful experience and would recommend this wonderful shop to ANYONE.

They were so accommodating and up-front about safety, which I particularly appreciated with COVID in-mind. I was able to try several dresses from a variety of styles, designers, and price points..... and walk out with the dress of my dreams that day!

They make my wedding dress shopping experience super easy! Easy to make my appointment too! I didn’t want to spend too much on something I would only wear once. I tried on 8 dresses and found mine! I was super excited! It was a brand new dress without any missing beads or mark!! Extra discount for those that found their dress on their first appointment too:D With the discounted price, I had my dress cut short and I was able to dress and run around our wedding venue.

Great selection at an amazing price! I was able to find exactly the style I wanted at a great price! I visited several new only shops and instead found my dress at Cherie amour and brought it home that day.

I loved my experience! My sister, mother, aunt and I all took part in picking out the dresses. I was the only one there so it felt so personalized for me! You won’t be able to find something specific but everything we tried was awesome. The dress I ended up getting had never been worn and was a fraction of the price. I highly recommend!
