The Cafe Room is perfect for smaller gatherings. Service from everyone there was fast and courteous. Will definitely be using them again!

Overall great experience. The vendors were prompt in responding and super helpful. Lots of options for photos and plenty of room for dressing, ceremony and reception. Great price! Overall great experience

Cherokee Pines was a beautiful, spacious place to host our wedding reception. The only issue we ran into was that Bud, one of the staff members and personal trainers, seemed rather annoyed that we were using the tables and chairs and regularly was rude to my wedding party when we were trying to set up the day before the event. We had already discussed all of the things we needed and the changes we were making with Sara but he seemed flustered and frustrated and even slammed a door or two when we needed to get into a room again that he had locked. If we had asked for more tables than what were listed on the form we filled out a couple weeks before the wedding then this would be understandable behavior but we discussed this with Sara, the event coordinator, weeks in advance so it should not have been an issue at all. Other than that, the venue was gorgeous, spacious, and had just about everything we needed for our event, and Sara was super helpful and kind here as well.

Lorie at Cherokee Pines and Sara at Forest Hill Park were both wonderful to work with. They took each of my frantic calls with questions like it was the first one. The venues were both great and I highly recommend them. Lorie made great recommendations that allowed us to keep to the type of seating we wanted for the theme -- but not lose the dance floor. She also made a golf cart available for the photographer to take the bride and groom out to get some shots near the water. Great experience
