Cherry Blossom String Quartet

I highly recommend the Cherry Blossom String Quartet! Kristen was very responsive and helped us throughout the entire process. Their selection of music was very expansive and diverse, which our guests really enjoyed. We continue to get comments about how amazing this quartet was at our wedding.

CBSQ went above and beyond for our intimate wedding ceremony, including calmly working with us day of when the city forgot to block off their reserved parking, as well as being kind and responsive throughout our planning. By far the highlight, though, was the cellist performing alongside my husband’s best childhood friend in a Lady Gaga/Bradley Cooper duet… our favorite special touch of the day and a stellar performance. Our guests adored the music selection of CBSQ and we continue to get rave reviews. Cannot recommend CBSQ highly enough, and would give them six stars if we could.

We recently had the good fortune to have The Cherry Blossom String Quartet play at our wedding in November and they were phenomenal. Our guests were blown away by their talent and enjoyed them thoroughly. They have a fairly extensive repertoire of music and gave me the opportunity to select the music I preferred. While I did provide some guidance on the genre I preferred, I asked them to play music that brought them the most joy which just amplified their awesomeness. They were incredibly easy to work with especially in the midst of a pandemic and are wonderful to listen to. I highly recommend them and hope to use them again in the future.

What a beautiful addition to our small October ceremony. The quartet did a wonderful job weaving together an eclectic choice of music for our ceremony and it was the perfect elegant touch to the day. Erin was extremely responsive and professional throughout our correspondence as well!

We hired CBSQ for both our ceremony and cocktail hour. Absolutely amazing!! Everything we planned with them as far as song selection was executed perfectly. Not to mention they sounded wonderful! We received compliments during the reception, literally 10 minutes after they stopped playing! And for weeks after our wedding. Thank you so much again!

We hired Cherry Blossom String Quartet for our ceremony and cocktail hour at Airlie, VA. They were absolutely amazing! The music was so beautiful and Sinbat was so responsive and helpful in answering all of our questions. They have such an extensive repertoire that most songs you might want to choose from, both popular and classical, they already have an arrangement for. I had always wanted to include Can't Help Falling in Love as part of our ceremony and their arrangement was perfect and made the ceremony so special!!

Did an amazing job playing our ceremony and cocktail hour at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. We received so many compliments. They arrived, setup, played, moved from room to room seamlessly, and were so easy to work with. Erin responded to my emails immediately. Helped me make all of the best music selections. Very organized and professional. I highly recommend.

CBSQ was absolutely wonderful. I can't tell you how many people complimented the ceremony music. Nothing but professional AND they accommodated a special request that I found sheet music for. Great selection of music, easy to communicate with, and one less thing for you to worry about on your wedding day. Highly recommend.

CBSQ was so great. The memory of their playing Eine Kleine Nachtmusik as I walked down the aisle will forever be seared in my memory as one of the top 10 moments of my life, and their beautiful playing helped make it that way. They were fantastic to work with - Erin always replied to my emails in a very timely manner, and was very helpful when I had questions. As another reviewer mentioned, I unfortunately did not get to spend much time around their music, as I was taking pictures during cocktail hour, but my guests were very impressed and I think it helped to set a wonderful, romantic atmosphere for the wedding. Their prices were also very reasonable and competitive with others in the market. What I especially loved about CBSQ was that they were their own company. A lot of the string quartets we reviewed when we were searching were hired as a part of a larger wedding vendor company, and that wasn't what we wanted - it just felt too corporate. CBSQ is their own thing, and working with them felt very homely and comfortable, because I was able to speak with one of the musicians herself. Additionally, I loved the selection of clips they had on their website, as well as their large repertoire of classical music. They had so many beautiful options to choose from to make our wedding sound as perfect as we wanted. If you are searching for a string quartet in the area, you cannot go wrong with CBSQ. Just talk to them, listen to some of their clips, and browse their website - you'll be very much impressed and very lucky to have them be a part of your wedding.

I loved having the string quartet play for our ceremony and lunch afterwards. They were responsive, thoughtful, and offered a wide variety of music, including a lot of songs currently on the radio. And they even wrote us a thank you note after the ceremony thanking us for including them in our ceremony!

Cherry Blossom String Quartet was very easy to communicate with and played beautiful music for our ceremony. They are very reasonably priced. They send you a CD with 40+ songs to help choose your music.

Everything! They were professional very talented and made the ceremony a beautiful event. My husband liked them because they had Journey in the playlist. :)

They were WONDERFUL and so easy to work with!

They sounded amazing. Because our cremony was moved at the last minute due to a power outage these folks were able to be flexible and play a little longer since our schedule was altered due to the move. They did not bat an eye and were completely professional

Just wow. They sounded amazing at the ceremony. While the bridesmaids and I were in the bridal room getting ready at the church we heard classical music come over the speakers in the room. After a minute I realized it was the prelude music being played! It sounded so good I thought it was off the radio :). They played all of the music perfectly and even arrived at the church early to practice with the cantor!

They played all of my requests and were very flexible on the day of the ceremony.
