We knew we wanted Cherry Bomb to provide our first dinner as husband and wife. What really makes Cherry Bomb special is the level of professionalism and excitement that Dawn and her team had for our wedding. We started out with a plan for a 90 person family style dinner intended to bring our friends and family closer together, and Cherry Bomb was excited to work with us curating a perfect spread. (Obviously, this was pre-pandemic.) By the beginning of summer, we didn’t know what the status of our wedding would be by September. However, Dawn did not hesitate to keep an open line of communication regarding all COVID compliance changes. There was so much compassion and flexibility towards us as the client—even in the event of a postponement or cancellation. We didn’t even get another bill from Cherry Bomb until we were able to solidify our pandemic wedding plan. Our headcount eventually was reduced down to about 25 (including some meals for some other vendors). Even though we upgraded our meals a little bit (hello, filet Mignon and lobster), the final invoice was substantially less than the original plan. Even though we ended up spending much less money Cherry Bomb’s stellar customer service never wavered. The food was of course totally the bomb! We were the first tasting in their new kitchen, and Chef Kelsi definitely impressed our parents and us! We had no complaints, and Chef Kelsi delivered a magnificent feast on our wedding day! Every single person on the crew was fantastic—especially, the one who helped me with the door as I made my grand entrance to walk down the aisle. I can’t even thank Dawn, Kelsi, and the entire Cherry Bomb crew enough for being the rock that my husband and I needed in order to pull off the perfect pandemic wedding against all odds.

have a family style dinner, but with the time restraints and the # of guests a buffet was recommended. Dawn helped us create a menu that fit the needs of our guests and the feel we wanted for our wedding. Dawn was even willing to help take care of our dessert table. My mom baked all of the desserts for our wedding and even though we didn't order them through CBC, Dawn was willing to handle the set up and care on the day of. This was such a relief for my mom and meant a lot (Thank you Dawn!). I was really excited for the customizations to come to life on our wedding day. As a bride I had a hard time discovering that some of those details were missed. We had planned a customized salad that would be plated before a buffet service. It was important to me that everyone start eating together and after expressing the concern the plated salad was our solution. On the day of, the salad was not what we had discussed and not plated; it was just part of the buffet. Our DJ announced that salads would be coming out to the tables and then had to correct the announcement! EEEK! After the wedding I heard from guests that the food was enjoyable, but that the serving process was a bit odd. Some guests wanted only one type of meat, but were not allowed to have 2 pieces. Only if they had 2 different types could they have 2 pieces. I'm sure it has to do with portioning out the food for large numbers of guests, but as the hostess I felt a bit embarrassed to hear some guests didn't get a full plate.Had I known how tight the food amount was I would have paid extra to ensure guests could have a more customizable buffet experience. One of the best parts of the service was the bartender! She rocked! All of our guest raved about her. She remembered what people were drinking through out the night, was joking around, and had a smile on her face the whole time. My husband was really impressed that she checked in with us during the dinner to make sure our drinks were always full. I honestly don't remember having to go to the bar once the whole night, she was on it! Cherry Bomb had good food and very kind staff members. Minus the fact that they missed the plated salad/had the wrong ingredients and wouldn't let guests have the requested food, they were great.

everything was gonna be great. Dawn & Diana were great at staying in communication with me. Day of...Kelsey & her team we’re awesome! smell of the food was YUMMY!! The presentation, beautiful! (I was the bride, no time to take photos 🙁) The staff was organized, and knew their stuff. I worried about Nothing. I highly recommend Dawn & her team for your wedding. I feel so blessed to of found Cherrybomb Catering. Thank you!

edding really easily. They know how to cook and make really interesting and delicious food. The salmon and plum sauce was not overcooked and the flavors went together really well. I can't tell you how many times I've had overcooked salmon at weddings or events, but Cherry Bomb cooked them perfectly! They were very professional in every way. After the wedding they cleaned up all their stuff as if they were never there and we got our deposit back (thank you!). I have no intention of getting married again so I won't say I'll be hiring them again, but I will recommend them to friends in the future so that I may get to eat their food once again hopefully! d a plate of everything for me and my husband. They went above and beyond by helping my husband set up venue tables and chairs. The price for the amount of food was very reasonable and they worked with us and created a great menu. They were very attentive to our needs and wants. I couldn't be happier with them.

k through, make sure you confirm appointments with her. Food: I would have liked to do a tasting before the wedding to try a few dishes instead of just picking based on description. Honestly the night of the wedding I didn't get to eat a lot but what I remember is the potatoes were amazing! The whiskey beef was a little spicy and the rest of the dinner really didn't stick with me. We had a hydration station as well. The lemonade was really good. Otherwise it was water with a little flavor, which was great for a hot day and those dancing! Staff: Incredible! They were helpful throughout the night, brought all the bridal party food while were sat at our table if we needed it. They were very good at making sure everything stayed stocked and everyone was happy. Short: I would recommend Dawn and the team at Cherry Bomb catering again. See if you can get a tasting of the food before hand. We tried but something didn't work out. Communicate and make sure you hear back from her on confirmations.
