When the other wedding party originally sharing our date postponed their event, we were offered to have the entire Lakeview rooms in order to promote social distancing. Emily was our day-of coordinator and she made sure all the details in the days prior including rehearsal through ceremony and reception ran smoothly. All my guests commented on how amazing the food was (hors d'oeuvres, dinner, and desserts) and how professional the staff were. I can't thank them enough for helping us through a stressful period and being the best venue to work with for this once-in-a-lifetime memorable event!

The dessert table was beautiful as well as packed with tasty desserts. The afterglow pizza option was a perfect way to end the night. Christine director of sales and Taylor event coordinator provided tons of support and made the whole process go so smoothly. Highly recommend this venue for any event!

Every person we met was palpably excited and genuinely happy for us, and eager to do anything they could to help make our experience everything we wanted it to be. From our first meeting with Christine, we felt welcomed and surrounded with excitement. She spent hours working with us to customize the experience to fit our vision and budget, and always responded to every email with promptness and enthusiasm. Janelle (with the help of Emily) guided us through the wedding day, and helped us navigate the changes in weather without pressuring us. She was a pleasant presence, and helped present the facts needed to help us make our decisions. Because of rainy weather, we ended up having to use the indoor "backup" location for our ceremony. Our family and friends later told us that they thought the "second choice" was an even more beautiful setting than the original location. The entire catering process went seamlessly--They brought appetizers to the bridal party table after we were seated to make sure that we hadn't missed. We didn't know until after the wedding that there were some issues with guests that were handled seamlessly by the staff at Cherry Creek without bothering us at all. The basement bridal salon was a great place for the bridal party to relax and touch up hair and makeup, steam clothes, etc. while waiting for the ceremony to start. We're very happy with our decision to choose Cherry Creek. If it's within your budget, you'll get a great team to help you through the whole experience.

s. The food was excellent and so was the bartending. If you can spring for the additional bar space, I would definitely do so. We had about 170 people and asked for 2 bars and people rarely waited (and our guest lists were definitely bar-goers!). We had really specific details that we wanted at our reception and Taylor and Janelle were able to meet every one that we requested. The entire staff really went out of their way. Everything thing ran so smooth at our reception thanks to the awesome staff. If I had to do everything all over again, I would 100% pick Cherry Creek as our wedding venue!

When it came to the day of, the staff at cherry creek worked well with other vendors a d everything was perfect! guests raved about the outdoor cocktail hour and butler-passed signature cocktails and horserves that we had in addition to the three outdoor bars! each course of our diamond meal was hot and delicious, served with appropriate spacing between each course. we rented both rooms and the sound quality was fantastic! there was plenty of room for our 250 guest to sit comfortably at the tables and move around the room. our guests LOVED the dessert table, ice scultpture, and the carnival and cantina after glows were delicious! it was a very nice touch to have the farewell coffee station for our guests as well. for the bridal party, we had access to the bridal suite all evening. it was kept locked to keep our belongings safe but very easy to find someone to open it as we needed. it was a perfect location for dress bustling, bride bathroom breaks, or just two minutes of relaxing. I have no regrets about choosing cherry creek for our wedding venue. it was a perfect day. the staff was supportive, genunine, and RELIABLE.

The catered lunch was excellent. Our reception was in the conservatory and it was GORGEOUS! The Cherry Creek staff took care of all the decorations and setting up the room. All the courses were delicious, but what really wowed the guests was the AMAZING dessert bar with more types of desserts than I can remember. LL getting compliments on our venue, especially the food! I have had random strangers tell me how beautiful our wedding was based on pictures they saw. My girls and I were able to get ready downstairs, which made the day much less stressful. We had a delicious brunch while getting ready which seamlessly went into photos on the GORGEOUS grounds, a ceremony overlooking the water, cocktail hour on the terrace, and the best reception EVER in the Terrace/Conservatory/Lakeside rooms. Truly, I cannot express enough gratitude to Janelle and Christine and the entire team at Cherry Creek for making our day so incredibly beautiful and perfect. I would not change a single thing. I wish I could relive it! The food was TO DIE FOR... and the tasting you get to do ahead of time is private with both sets of parents included! Seriously, I guarantee that you will not find a better venue in the Metro Detroit area. THANK YOU SO MUCH to Cherry Creek!

The many crystal clear windows in the Octagon hall, let through the perfect amount of natural light as the August evening progressed.  The service was AMAZING at Cherry Creek. The process of reserving the hall and choosing the food to be served was effortless and was finished quickly thanks to the effortless ability of Janelle and the entire team at Cherry Creek. During our celebration, all of the servers and workers were so incredibly kind and went out of their way to provide us, as well as our guests, with anything that we had requested. The food was phenomenal and was always kept very hot. The servers left the perfect amount of time between the meal courses and were always very quick and organized when they were clearing the tables to present the next course. Overall, our experience at Cherry Creek was beyond our wildest expectations. The hall was beautifully presented and was kept well organized and clean throughout our wedding reception. The scenery, shown through the many glass windows of the hall, was absolutely gorgeous. The service provided by the servers, bartenders and workers was exceptional and they made the process of making our reservations easy and provided top tier service on the day of the celebration. The food was extremely tasty and hot and was served beautifully. We would definitely recommend Cherry Creek for a wedding reception or any large scale celebration to anyone who asked for our opinion.

There was not a detail that was overlooked. We have received so many compliments on the venue and the food. The one 'odd' thing was that we had several sets of wedding crashers. We had a couple that ended up leaving us a card and money and then a group of teenage boys that showed up in jeans and started eating food that people left on the table. We let the staff know and they promptly escorted them out. I am not sure if this happened because it was New Year's Eve, but it was kind of a bummer. Overall, I would book Cherry Creek over and over again for my wedding. It was the BEST day of my life.

From there Janelle, the Director of Events was so helpful and put our minds at ease every step of the way in planning our wedding at Cherry Creek. This was critical since we live out of state. When we were in town, we could stop by whenever we needed to. We were able to host our rehearsal dinner right after the ceremony rehearsal at Cherry Creek. This option was extremely convenient for planning and also for our guests! Not to mention, the food was delicious! On our wedding day, the bridal party all met at our exclusive bridal suite to have our hair and makeup done. I was thrilled to have a place where we could relax for the next eight hours before saying "I Do". Cherry Creek served us mimosas, fresh fruit and baked goodies for breakfast. Mini wraps were served in the afternoon for lunch. Our first look took place with a stunning back drop of the golf course and the tallest trees. The venue's surrounding was so lush and green. The photos we got there were so beautiful! Our ceremony took place on the Lakeview lawn that overlooks the lake. We kept our ceremony decor simple due to the natural beauty of the property. The cocktail hour was fabulous! Our guests could not get enough of the crab cakes! And they served Bell's Two Hearted Ale and Oberon. At the reception, we received so many compliments on the venue's food, the service of the wait staff and the bar tenders as well as the overall ambience of Cherry Creek's Lakeview Ballroom. We highly recommend Cherry Creek to any guest for their wonderful staff, food and beverage and accommodations!

We were planning our entire wedding remotely, which can definitely add some extra stress, but their event director, Janelle was very accommodating to all of our needs and very helpful in making sure that the process went very smoothly. Cherry Creek hosted not only our ceremony and reception but also our rehearsal dinner in their Gallery. We had our wedding ceremony outside overlooking the lake and it was absolutely breathtaking. For our reception we rented the Lakeview, the Terrace and the absolutely gorgeous Conservatory. Our guests were in awe of Cherry Creek’s beauty and have not stopped raving about how excellent the food was! Everything was absolutely perfect and I could not have dreamed of a more magical venue!

The team had everything set up perfectly. The day of our wedding started off cold and rainy. Janelle knew that I wanted to get married outside, so she had everything set up with heat lamps, and said I could wait until 30 min before to decide. The sun ended up coming out just before the ceremony and we were able to have our outdoor wedding. Most places would have forced us to be indoors, but Janelle knew how important it was to us, so she made it happen. We also had many guests with special food requirements. Two of our guests are vegetarian. They liked their meals so much, so the chef wrote down the recipe for them. Another one of my guests wasn't eating the pasta. One of the staff members noticed, asked how she could help and learned my guest couldn't eat marinara sauce. So the staff member brought out a separate pasta for her. You don't see this type of service at most venues! The view is gorgeous, the food is great, and the staff are amazing. Overall, I would highly recommend this venue!

The dinner we provided our guests was delicious and we continue to receive compliments on the hors d'oeuvres, main course, dessert table, and afterglow. Cherry Creek's sincere desire to please and attention to detail made the process of having our wedding there stress free. We also had our wedding shower at Cherry Creek and it, too, was wonderful!

Cherry Creek had an event in the spring where all couples could come and taste appetizers and late night snacks and sample bar cocktails. This was a great opportunity for us to see different vendors and make our final menu choices! The food was absolutely delicious! So many guests have told us that it was the best meal they’ve ever had at a wedding. The dinner and late night snack were beyond our expectations. The ultra premium bar provided every drink that our guests could ever possibly think to order. The grounds speak for themselves. The patio was a perfect spot for cocktail hour and for guests to hang out throughout the night. The reception and bar area are elegant and beautiful. The wall of windows looking out at the pond is absolutely gorgeous. Our wedding reception at Cherry Creek was a dream come true!

Janelle made sure time and time again that I had everything I wanted and she was super easy to stay in contact with throughout the whole process. I never once had any issues or concerns, it was truly a stress-free wedding. The food was amazing and our guests constantly rave about the venue and food.

he time the wedding date arrived, they felt like close friends. They instantly understood our blended family dynamics and helped come up with compromises throughout the whole process. They were organized, professional, and personable. They were very accommodating to any special requests we made. We felt that they truly cared about our vision and our wedding day. There are tons of food options (including vegetarian choices) and everything was delicious. There are two beautiful bridal suites on the lower level, which were essential for our large bridal party to get ready/change outfits. We cannot wait to go back to visit and relive the day!

he coordinator and she is amazing! I was told multiple times throughout the day that I was too calm to be a bride on her wedding day, and they were largely the reason why. I didn't have to worry about a thing and they try to make everything as easy as possible!

The food was amazing, our guests are still talking about the food. The staff treated us amazingly. The room I had to get ready in was set up so nicely and very roomy. I cannot speak highly enough about them and loved every minute we had to spend at Cherry Creek!
