Joey showed great flexibility with the weather on our Wedding Day; rain threatened to ruin our outdoor ceremony, but Joey stuck it out through the elements and got some gorgeous detail shots in the light rain before our ceremony. His communication was excellent, and he was instrumental in helping me develop a timeline for our day. I have received dozens of compliments on our final images, and they have translated beautifully to print too. There isn't a single negative thing about working with Cherry Red Shoe. Joey is competitively priced, he has an amazing attitude, and he gives great direction while shooting to get the best shot. I cannot recommend him enough, and I hope to work with him again in the future for other photo needs!

I feel like I’m pretty awkward in formal photos but all of my formal photos turned out amazing! We had a good mix of candid and formal pictures. He knew exactly how to position us all so that out photos turned out perfect. Some of the positions did feel a little awkward while they were being shot but the photos turned out amazing! Also, I received my usb drive with the pictures on them 2 weeks after my wedding so the turn around time was fantastic! We 1000% recommend Cherry Red Shoe Photography!!!

He had such a vision--he picked out all the most stunning places of the venue and wove them into each piece in a magazine-worthy fashion. And it seemed like he was having fun! He arrived early, stayed late, and took an incredible number of photos, all with a smile. Finally, when the day ended, he said we'd have the photos in 30 days, but we received them even more quickly. If I ever need professional photography again, I will most definitely choose him. Can't recommend highly enough!

Despite the long hours, he kept an amazing energy, seemed to be everywhere at once, and did a fantastic job at directing relatively camera shy people to not only feel comfortable but look great. er missed a moment. The pre-planning was organized via phone and text/email. He sent a perfect itinerary and followed it beautifully. On our wedding day, he spent hours taking pictures of all of us getting ready, plus organizing pictures with all our family and friends that were present at the hotel/early to the venue. I was pretty uncertain of where I wanted our actual wedding photos to take place right before the ceremony, but Joey was all about finding "hot spots" around the city to ensure we have the best shots ever. As far the ceremony and reception, Joey as a solo photographer worked like he was multiple people. From racing around to move lights, to capturing every single moment he could. Any time someone had their phone up for a selfie/group photo, he was right behind them capturing a professional shot. We had agreed that he would be finished by 9pm, however, he stayed until 11pm to ensure we had every moment on camera. Of course, we compensated his time. All our guests had only INCREDIBLE things to say about Cherry Red Shoe and Joey. Many wanted his contact info after the wedding for future celebrations and weddings. PLEASE do not hesitate to reach out to this vendor. YOU WILL NOT regret it! We are so excited to receive our photos back and reminisce our special night. Thank you!

From our details photos, to getting ready, portraits, bridal party shots, family photos, ceremony and reception photos he captured all the best moments, it’s going to be hard to pick our favorites. We also booked him for engagement photos and knew right then he was the perfect fit for our big day. We’d hire Joey all over again! He’s seriously the best!

is shows in the photos. He is wildly generous with his time. We had a 2-hour engagement photo session, and he photographed us for 3 hours, and the photos were AMAZING! We technically hired Joey for 8 hours of photography for our wedding day (which is already a lot compared to most photography packages out there), and he photographed our entire day… 12pm-11pm (11 hours!). He didn’t charge extra for this extra time, and he was already providing an affordable service. And Joey’s personality is the best (which is important because he’s with you all day)- he’s professional, calm, super fun, and he knows how to work with an awkward couple like us. He made us feel so comfortable, and he was one of the most talked-about aspects of our wedding day. Our guests loved him! I absolutely recommend Joey. He is the best.
