For the makeup, I just told her simple and elegant, no pictures, nothing, and she made me look AMAZING. Also, she was perfect on timing and I was ready to go exactly when I wanted to be. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for hair and makeup. Trust her! She's knows what she's doing!

She was even able to fit in a last minute hair/ makeup trial so that I would know exactly how my makeup and hair would turn out, which I was so thankful for! On the week of the wedding, I also asked if I could add my mother and mother-in-law to get their makeup done, and she graciously said, "yes" without hesitation. She is professional, punctual, and a LOT of FUN to work with! I am so grateful that she was there to make my perfect day that much more perfect and was so happy with the final result!!!

e best! She and I communicated over the phone beforehand. We discussed different looks. Cher gave me some great ideas in terms of what she thought would look good for my hair and makeup. She was punctual, professional and had a great attitude. I had her make some minor adjustments to my eye makeup. She was quick to make these changes and went above and beyond. Cher actually ended up staying with me during my wedding photos so she could fix my hair and makeup during. I didn’t even have to ask. It was a crazy windy day and knew she could help by being there and staying. It was so sweet. She was truly my “hype girl” while taking the pictures and I loved it! I felt gorgeous, relaxed, and special on my big day. She was amazing to work with. All in all, I am extremely happy that I chose Cher for my beauty needs. Our pictures turned out better than I could have imagined! See them below!

edding. She was pleasant over email, she sent a timeline for our bridal party and we had zero issues making arrangements for the day. Everything after that went downhill on the wedding day. Understandably, there was an emergency and her regular assistant couldn't make it. Her replacement was very nice to work with, but she left after about 2 hours into the process. This left Cher alone and put her behind schedule. I (the bride) was scheduled last, along with my sister (the only bridesmaid and MOH). Cher was visibly annoyed for the last few hours of our time with her. At one point she yelled about the light in the room not being good enough. She didn't communicate what she was dong very well and it backfired completely with every person who had their hair and make up done. Every one of us had to fix it the way we actually wanted it because Cher did a poor job of listening to what we wanted. For example, I specifically told her I do not want a smokey eye and I wanted a very natural look. She did not provide a mirror while makeup was being done, so toward the end of my makeup she told me she knew I said I didn't want eyeshadow, but she did it anyway. I looked in the mirror and did not like my eye makeup at all. At this point, she was so rushed I felt like I could not make her redo anything. I did finally ask her to take off some black makeup under my eyes. She then asked me to curl my own eyelashes. She also asked my mom to apply her own mascara. If you're having to ask people to apply their own makeup and you're still expecting tips and to be paid $95/person, you should arrange for more help. Several people knew she was rushing and offered to do final touches or forgo makeup. This is unacceptable. We were an hour away from the ceremony when I was finished (she still had my sister to do) and I still had to put my dress on. I didn't care for my hair and when I voiced this very clearly, Cher only assured me it was perfect because in my opinion, she knew she rushed it and didn't have time to help me fix it. On your wedding, one of the things you most look forward to is looking beautiful by a professional. I did not receive this experience and it was the same experience by all in the bridal party. I feel terrible they had to pay for this service and they all ended up making changes afterward. It was almost pointless to go through the process because it was not relaxing or what we wanted, only rushed and rude. Cher was unprofessional toward myself and my sister as well, she complained about a friend as soon as she walked out the door, saying she was "high maintenance" and she told me she didn't think she even tipped her. This wasn't necessary information about my friend she knows nothing about, nor is it professional. She also told my sister that spending the whole day doing this wasn't really worth her time. She made plenty of money while rushing through all of us. I booked with Cher because of all of the great reviews, but I do not recommend her. Maybe the day I had her was a bad day, but when you're in the business of wedding makeup, you don't get to have bad days like that because I have one chance to get it right. Her poor time management and unprofessional attitude was off-putting and I could not recommend her to other brides.
