Where do I even begin? Cheryl is the best of the best in every possible way.
First of all, she is truly beautiful—inside and out. She radiates joy, and the entire room lights up t...
he moment she walks in. From the second you meet her, she makes you feel completely at ease, like you’ve known her forever. She has this incredible ability to not only enhance your natural beauty but also make you feel like the most confident, stunning version of yourself.
One of the most special parts of working with Cheryl was seeing the friendship she formed with my mom. It was such a treat and truly a delight to witness. She doesn’t just show up, do her job, and leave—she creates genuine connections and makes every moment feel meaningful. And if that wasn’t enough, she even gifts a little treat to you and your bridesmaids when she’s finished. One of my bridesmaids forgot hers, and Cheryl went above and beyond, taking time out of her day to mail the gift to her out of state. I mean, it just doesn’t get better than that.
I will cherish my time with Cheryl forever. She is a true artist and the best at what she does. I only wish she could do my makeup every single day—not just for her unmatched talent, but for her glowing, beautiful personality. Love you forever, Cheryl!
6 months later and I am still in awe of Cheryl's work - she is the absolute BEST in every way!!! After just our initial phone call, she immediately felt like someone I had known fo...
r years. Not only is she sooo talented, but she brings forth such a fun, calming & positive energy. Cheryl did my makeup for my engagement session as well as my entire wedding weekend - I gave her very limited direction & just told her I wanted to look/ feel like myself and she always exceeded my expectations. I was obsessed with each look (which she customized for every occasion) and felt so confident and beautiful the entire wedding weekend. My girls and I received so many compliments AND the makeup didn't budge the entire day. I cannot recommend her enough!!!
I am just realizing that I never wrote a review for Cheryl after my April 2023 wedding. Cheryl is a makeup queen. She brings the best energy and makes everyone look and feel so bea...
utiful. She did my makeup for engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, and wedding- and I’ve never looked better. I don’t normally wear a lot of makeup so I was nervous about looking too made up but Cheryl is so great about using just enough to play up your best features. And my makeup lasted all night! I highly recommend Cheryl to all brides.
Cheryl not only is amazing at what she does, but she is an incredible person to be around on your wedding day! I am someone who does not wear a lot of make up and when I do I typic...
ally go for a natural look. Cheryl far exceeded my expectations for how I wanted to look on my wedding day- a glam version of myself! She was AMAZING to work with! She was thoughtful, considerate and always took my feedback and ran with it in the best way! She just knew what I wanted! All of my girls looked absolutely stunning and beautiful versions of themselves! My make up looked flawless and lasted the entire wedding (10+ hours) without budging. She stayed for touch ups after first looks to ensure everything stayed perfect. I can't thank her enough!!
Cheryl is just a wonderful human being and she's so talented at what she does! She was so much fun to have around on the wedding day and during my makeup trial. She truly makes you...
feel and look like yourself, but elevated! My makeup lasted all night and I've never felt more beautiful. I had a trial with her months before the wedding and when she saw me on the wedding day with a tan and highlights she adjusted my makeup to match with ease!
Cheryl was such a joy to have while we got ready for our wedding day. Not only is she a spectacular make up artist, but she also brought so much fun and laughter into the morning. ...
All of our make up was stunning. Our make up enhanced our natural features without looking overdone. I never wear dramatic looks, and she was able to give me professional bridal make up, that showed up great in pictures, but it still felt like “me.” She made sure everyone was touched up and looking their best for pictures. We called her the “blush fairy” as she went around and touched up everyone’s blush. She made the morning so easy and fun while still providing top quality service.
Working in the wedding industry - I am introduced to some talented and lovely people. Cheryl Quinn is probably one of the people I feel luckiest to have come across. She is my top ...
choice for all of my clients for multiple reasons - her skill for makeup being an obvious reason, but her personality and overall demeanor are beyond compare.
That being said - the moment I got engaged I knew I had to lock her in ASAP. I am one of those girls who "doesn't wear much makeup" so booking someone that would make me feel like ME was a no brainer. My friends and family are shocked when I tell them the first vendors that I booked were my hair and makeup team. But when you know you want the best of the best - you snag them. I knew Cheryl would make me feel beautiful, while also bringing the utmost joy to the room while my friends and I were getting ready.
She made me feel my absolute best throughout my entire wedding weekend (two ceremonies, a reception and a welcome party) and continues to make my clients feel beautiful weekend after weekend. Love this lady to pieces!! BOOK HER!!!
Where to begin?! Cheryl is more than just a makeup artist that will make you feel beautiful on your wedding day - outside of being insanely talented, she's genuine, fun and one of ...
the biggest hype girls you could ask to have with you on one of the most important days of your life.
Cheryl did my makeup for my engagement photos (trial), rehearsal dinner and wedding day (+bridesmaids) - I wanted to make some tweaks from our trial and she totally understood my vision and knocked it out of the park. Coming from someone who doesn't typically wear a lot of makeup, Cheryl knows just how to enhance your features to make you feel like yourself but just THAT much better - natural? soft glam? full glam? She's got you.
If you're considering booking her for any special day, especially your wedding, DO IT before someone else reading this does!
Cheryl is AMAZING! The makeup she does is absolutely beautiful but the best part is that I still looked like myself. She takes the time to truly make sure every person in your wedd...

enuine, and incredibly talented. She listened to exactly what I wanted, while also guiding me with what I needed — giving me my dream wedding day glam. She took my type A personality and helped calm my stress by making a timeline to help make the day go smoothly. She has such a calm presence but is also your biggest hype girl, and we all need a friend like her! I am forever grateful and lucky to have had her as a part of my wedding day, she went above and beyond my expectations!!!
BOOK HER RIGHT NOW. I don't even know if I have the words to describe Cheryl. She is a true artist and will make you feel SO beautiful on your big day. One thing I love most about ...
her work is she doesn't make you look like a different person on your wedding day, she just enhances your natural beauty! If you want soft and natural she'll give you that.. if you want glam and sparkle she'll give you that. She is a true perfectionist- which is something you want in your makeup artist. She is clearly insanely talented- just look at her page... but what is even better is the kind, incredible and loving person that she is! I swear she feels like family to me. Everyone in my bridal party loved her and is still talking about her. Cheryl made me feel so comfortable and was by my side the entire day. I cried so much on my wedding day, and my makeup never moved. Cheryl did my makeup for my engagement pictures, rehearsal dinner and wedding day and I can truly say I have never felt more beautiful. She listens, works with you and is always open to feedback which I think is really important. She makes the process about YOU and wants you to feel comfortable and beautiful. I genuinely cannot recommend her enough!! Book her right now, I promise you will not regret it.

dding and she did my make up all 3 days. 3 different looks and all stunning. We did a more glam look for the actual wedding and I have never been more obsessed with my make up. I wanted a bold look, but she was able to do it in a way that I still looked and felt like myself. I don’t know a lot about make up and she was extremely helpful with suggestions and ultimately making me feel my absolute best. Not only is Cheryl talented but she is such a joy to be around. She is so fun and puts you at ease. She was such a wonderful part of my wedding experience. I wish I could hire her to do my make up every day. Highly recommend.

eally heavy makeup, Cheryl enhances your natural beauty to make you feel like yourself but elevated. She listens, takes her time, and her work is stunning. Not only that but she is such a sweet soul and calming presence to have on your wedding day!!! Would 100% recommend Cheryl's services!
Cheryl is wonderful. Not only does she do beautiful work but she is a delight to spend time with. We knew from the makeup trial that she was great but the wedding weekend exceeded ...
our expectations. Cheryl was upbeat but calm, keeping us all feeling comfortable and well care for. Cheryl is warm and caring and makes you feel incredibly special. We are so lucky she was with us for the wedding weekend.

ally met her in person her smile and warm welcome made me feel confident that I would look (and feel) my best on my special day! I have always been the type of person who puts very limited makeup on, so wanting someone to make me look natural was very important for me. Cheryl hit it out of the park (through all of the wind, rain, and sweat my face endured, the makeup stayed on for hours). Not to mention, she came to the hotel early with A BROKEN FOOT! Look no further, Cheryl is absolutely your lady to give you that effortless look on your special day!
I had been following Cheryl's work on instagram for YEARS like a total creep. She's the only makeup artist that I've seen in Charleston where her work didn't look over-done, but st...
ill so polished. I was lucky enough to book her for my wedding day and she was an absolute dream to work with! Mothers and bridesmaids all were blown away by how great they looked, but also by how comfortable and light the full face of makeup was. Plus it was all waterproof and she made sure to check multiple light sources to make sure the shade match was PERFECTION!
When choosing your vendors (especially the ones that work closely with the wedding party the day of) personality and skillset go hand-in-hand. The people you choose are an extension of your bridal party and it is important that they mesh well with the entire group. Cheryl obviously is someone who is extremely talented and has years of experience. But, she also has the most wonderful personality, which is something that cannot be taught. She is kind, fun, and calming which is exactly the type of person you want with you in the moments before you walk down the aisle. I will forever be recommending Cheryl and cannot thank her enough for making me look my best on the best day ever! Thank you!!

etely. My bridesmaids loved her as well, saying they wanted to get “Cheryl-ed”! Both during my engagement shoot and at my wedding Cheryl went above and beyond and stayed for touch ups. Thank you Cheryl!!!

your makeup is exactly what you had envisioned for your wedding day. It was extremely hot on our wedding day and my makeup still looked perfect at the end of the night. She is the absolute sweetest person and I couldn't recommend her more for any special occasion makeup, but especially your wedding day!

auty and her work lasts all day long, trust me it was tested in high humidity the day of oeur wedding. A sweet surprise that I did not expect from her on our wedding day was when she gifted makeup brush holders and brushes for my bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law, and me. Her personality is sweet, warm and genuine, and everyone who met her that day told me wonderful things about her and their conversations. I could go on and on, but the last thing I'll say about why I loved her wedding day makeup service was that she stayed during all of our wedding portraits to do touch-ups as needed.
I am so grateful that my wedding planner referred me to Cheryl for makeup! She is absolutely wonderful! I do not wear any makeup normally, so this aspect of getting ready on the ...
big day worried me quite a bit. Cheryl did an excellent job of making my makeup look natural (even with some false lashes!) and also making me feel comfortable and confident. I was in the midst of an anxiety attack when she arrived at the hotel to set up in the morning, and her calm, cool and collected demeanor was just what I needed. Cheryl is not only a talented makeup artist, but she is also funny, kind and compassionate. She made all of my bridesmaids, as well as my 80-year old mom, look AMAZING for my big day. And she stuck around for touch-ups during the first-look and formal photos. Cheryl clearly cares about her work and her clients. A++

She was available for as long as I needed her for touchups during pictures and after the ceremony - truly a makeup fairy godmother! I can never thank Cheryl enough for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. (PS - she is also a BLAST to be around!)

t ready and she did it all in a timely fashion and everyone loved their individual looks. You can bring inspiration photos or let her suggest what might make you look like your best self. The make up didn’t feel heavy or cakey at all! I didn’t have any next day break outs. She even provided us each with our own set of brushes for hygiene purposes. I felt totally safe in her hands! She knows what she’s doing in this industry. She stayed for photos and did touch ups and even fluffed my hair, she was my hype girl and I LOVED it.

r felt more beautiful. Not only did she absolutely kill the makeup on me and all of my girls, she stayed to make sure we all looked perfect up until party time. She was always there whenever I looked for her either with a makeup brush in hand, or her camera taking sneak videos of every single moment that mattered. I would work with Cheryl a million times over. She is your girl, trust me!

th or without makeup. My sister hired Cheryl as her makeup artist for her wedding about a year ago, and when my fiancé and I decide to elope in Charleston last minute I immediately knew who I wanted to ask to do my makeup. I didn’t even need to do a trial because I knew I trusted her completely. Because of Covid, we didn’t have our wedding party in attendance but Cheryl felt like one of my bridesmaids, getting my mom, sister and I ready and sticking around for touch ups, to hold my bouquet, fix my veil etc. She’s a gem of a human, an incredibly talented artist, and now I’m lucky to count her as a friend. And it goes without saying that I’ve never felt more beautiful than on that day. I would 100% hire her again and again!

only is she amazing at what she does, but she is just all around such a solid person. She is fun to work with, & she keeps your nerves at a minimum the day of your wedding while prepping you for one is the biggest moments of your life, all while slaying your makeup. Cheryl made sure my girls and I felt so beautiful on my wedding day, and was a joy to have in my bridal suite. Not many artists stay with you until after your ceremony to make sure to touch up any smudges your makeup might’ve endured, or tears you might’ve shed, but when booking with Cheryl that’s one of the wonderful additions in her contract. I can’t wait to book with Cheryl again in the future, although I won’t be getting married again, I’ll make sure to use for her holiday cards, galas I attend, maternity pictures in the future & so on. ♥️
Thank you again so much Cheryl for everything.

ars before finally relocating to Charleston (she does travel). I felt so lucky to have had Cheryl near me on my wedding day, she absolutely perfected the look I wanted which was very natural with enhanced features. She also did my makeup for my rehearsal dinner night (went with more of a cat eye smokey look) and she perfected that too! She is so professional yet personable, brings clean sets of new brushes for each client and is immaculate in her sanitary protocol, and my personal favorite: stays with the bride for touch ups! Cheryl is an amazing lady who you want to be around on your wedding day. She truly makes you feel beautiful and special from the inside out! I cannot recommend her services enough and I will definitely be finding excuses to hire her again in the near future.

for my makeup trial, Cheryl immediately put my reservations at ease! Not only did she make me and my wedding party feel beautiful on my wedding day, but she stayed through my ceremony and continued to fix my makeup during an unfortunate watery eye situation! LOL Cheryl is a total gem, and I feel so grateful that I had the chance to work with her. Thank you, Cheryl!!
Cheryl was the absolute best. She is completely amazing and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend her for any beauty needs. Thank you, again!

fashion alum. Cheryl spent over an hour and a half with my during the trial run making sure that every single detail of my makeup was exactly what I wanted. My biggest concern when searching for a makeup artist, was that I was going to be contoured and caked in makeup so much so that I wouldn't even recognize myself--past experiences had slightly scarred me. Cheryl quickly eased my nerves by explaining how her philosophy with makeup was to enhance the already beautiful details of your face in a natural looking way. I was so ecstatic with how fresh my faced looked and felt on my wedding day. Cheryl is a true professional that also feels like one of your bridesmaids on your day. She was such a trooper starting at 7am and saying through our ceremony and pictures afterwards. She even came to the rescue when my vail was not staying in minutes before the ceremony! I cannot say enough good things about Cheryl!! You will love every minute spent with her. I know I did!

worked with; she is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She makes you feel so comfortable and beautiful, while keeping you laughing the entire time. She has a way of bringing out your favorite or strongest features while still using the colors or styles you like, that results in a gorgeous but very natural look. You still look like you, but the best, most beautiful version of you that is magazine worthy, literally. Her incredible work experience, attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond is what makes her better than every other make-up artist out there. She was my saving grace for my Bridal portraits and on my wedding day. Not only did she consistently touch up my make up when it was needed, she helped to ensure my train, hair and veil were all picture perfect at all times!!! Not only did I gain a new go-to make-up artist for ALL occasions, I gained a new best friend!! I am so very grateful to have worked with her!! ❤️

id back attitude, even when responsible for beautifying a group of 12. My mother maintains that she has never had her makeup done as well in her life, and weeks later- I'm still being told by guests how beautiful all of the bridesmaids makeup was. I felt beautiful all night and Cheryl was kind enough to even follow us to the venue to make sure that I was picture perfect for picture time. She is amazing and I hope to work with her for future events in Charleston!
