I went to Cheryl Ann bridals during a Maggie Sottero trunk show. I didn’t think I was going to buy anything while I was there because I really liked Mori Lee dresses and hadn’t eve...
n tried on anything of hers yet, but I fell in love with my dress! Sherrie is very nice and assists promptly with any questions or concerns you have. When my dress was ordered they missed the sleevelets, but corrected this. All the guys had gone in to get measured and most guys Tux’s ran small and had to reorder with 2 days to spare before the wedding. That was probably the most stressful part of the whole experience. We had also asked for pocket squares and they did have that written down so those arrive the day before the wedding. I really liked Sherrie so I hate giving anything less than 5, but I feel like there was more stress for me on my day than there needed to be with the tux’s. If you are going for just your dress they are wonderful.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Sherrie at Cheryl-Ann Bridals. When we arrived, we had the whole store to ourselves. I had never tried on wedding dresses befo...
re, so Sherrie's experience and expertise were extremely helpful. She had clearly had reviewed my pre-visit questionnaire and knew what kind of styles I was looking to try on first. She brought countless beautiful gowns to the dressing room, but after just a few she knew what I was looking for and narrowed down to the perfect dress. Sherrie offered her thoughts and asked questions to help me think through what I liked and didn't like about each dress. A few dresses in, I was pretty sure I had found "the one," but we had an appointment at another store that day. Sherrie did not pressure me to make a decision or buy it right away. She encouraged us to go to the other appointment, which we did, but I ended up coming back later that day, putting my dress on, and buying it! She also helped me sort through and find the perfect veil. I can't wait for the dress to come in. I would highly recommend that any bride in Dubuque and surrounding areas (including Chicago!) check out Cheryl-Ann.
*Note - we visited during COVID-19 and the store had excellent distancing and mask usage. Thank you!
Great selection of dresses
Wonderful atmosphere and very friendly and knowledgable staff
The best service and an outstanding dress selection! Anything you need for yourself and you bridal party, they have it! Great prices as well!
Rachel is a joy to work with.
I’ve used Cheryl-Ann Bridals as a bridesmaid so having a visit as a bride was a must! Prior to our appointment, I had emailed Sherrie a couple of gowns I was interested in and told...
her what I would want to change about each. She did a wonderful job of finding my ideal dress because it was the first one I tried on! We also purchased the bridesmaids, flower girl, and mother of the bride dresses with as well as rented the grooms and groomsmen tuxedos Cheryl-Ann’s. We had a wonderful experience and can’t say thank you enough to their fabulous staff!
All of my wedding party, my mom, and myself bought dresses here. They were amazing! Very helpful and leave the decisions completely up to you. While wedding gown shopping I was t...
alking to the stylist and she then said I think I have the perfect one for you....sure enough she did! Everything went so smoothly from picking each dress out to the veil to finding someone for alterations to the pick up of the dress. Definitely would recommend!
I'm from Madison, WI and found my dream Allure dress online. I called all the places near me to see if they had the dress so I could try it on. They all said they didn't have a sam...
ple but I could order it. There was NO way I was going to order a dress I hadn't tried. I started calling all around even in the Chicago area and was getting the same response. I was about to give up and then on a whim called Dubuque and Chyrel-Ann had the dress! The same thing happened with my bridesmaid dresses too. I kept looking around in Madison and finally tried Chyrel-Ann and again they came through with the dress! They were always very accommodating and had small-town charm. The only down side to the entire thing was that the store doesn't do alterations. That worked out as well though because apparently retired Chyrel-Ann herself lives in Madison and does bridal alterations.
We love Cheryl Ann's! We used them for everything in our wedding. Bridal Gown, Bridesmaids dresses, Grooms and Groomsmen tuxes. They made sure we had everything we needed!

st part was that after the wedding, the men could drop off their tuxes at the front desk of the hotel and Cheryl Ann's would pick them up the next day. It was one less thing to stress about!
All of my bridesmaids are across the country; so it was me and my husband who did all the bridesmaids dress shopping. The staff did an amazing job in helping us find the right styl...
e and a style that would work for all body types. They were able to order over the phone. They dresses came in early enough that I was able to pick them up and deliver them (they had a delivery option but I was going to see them).
I had a great experience with Cheryl Ann. They were very helpful in helping me find my perfect dress and patient when I came in several times deciding between a few different dres...
ses. I got all my dresses and tuxedos here and everything turned out great. My bridesmaids dress that I found came only in a short length. They worked with the vendor to get the dress that I liked in a longer length. They made is so easy for my groomsmen to get fitted and knew our names when we came in the door. There was a problem with one of the bridesmaid dresses and they worked to get a replacement in a very timely manner. I would suggest going there! I had a great experience!
I found my dress on the first trip to Cheryl Ann Bridals. I worked with the owner and together we found a dress that I loved. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the indus...
try. She was patient and didn't try to push me into a decision. I ordered/paid for the dress that day. When the dress came in, I went back for my fitting. The saleswoman I worked with was insulting and rude from the moment I walked in the door. She made comments about me not looking like a bride, my chest size (or lack thereof), and she continuously stepped on the train of the dress while tying it up. Also, I made it clear to her that I already had a hairpiece, but she kept insisting on putting things in my hair and telling me the price. She was a PUSHY saleswoman. My experience with her was far different than my initial experience.
The staff here was so accommodating, helpful and patient. They will allow you to keep your dress there until your wedding day, and will give you a list of people who can assist wit...
