This expert culinary team is comprised of two dynamic chefs, Kurt Peter and Shawn Harlan. Chef Kurt’s personal experience draws heavily on the hunting and fishing excursions of his youth. He grew up on the Eastern Shore and his passion for local produce with a creative presentation is deeply rooted in his upbringing. Having worked as a private chef for the yachting world, he brings to this business an in-depth knowledge of gourmet seafood. Chef Shawn has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. A celebrated member of the Maryland culinary community, he has earned numerous accolades in his career. He is enthusiastic about locally sourced produce, food education, and creating bespoke experiences with his clients. These areas of focus led him to partner with Chef Kurt on Chesapeake Chef Service, a business dedicated to individuality and excellence in dining.

I would highly recommend them to anyone. They left the kitchen cleaner than it was when they came in. They disinfected everything, they kept masks on, kept distance, and made us feel safe and comfortable with them there.

an incredible feast for us at a very reasonable rate. They do really creative things in the kitchen, and all of it was fresh and delicious. Their serving staff were amazing, so helpful and thoughtful. They are also super easy to work with. No fuss, no stress, just reliably excellent. The food is locally sourced. Excellent bar service as well. Highly recommend! Go with these guys!
