If you’re looking into this venue for your wedding, run the other direction ASAP. We initially booked it after seeing all of the positive reviews for Tina, who we were excited to work with. Shortly after booking, she left and it went downhill instantly. In a matter of 6 weeks their wedding staff turned over 3 times, and we were never notified of any turnover or of who to contact if needed. We discovered this each time by emailing someone a question about our day, never hearing back, and then checking their website to find that yet another new person was listed as their wedding coordinator. They continued to have extreme staff turnover in the following few months, having wedding coordinators holding positions for only a week (!!!) or weeks at a time, never notifying brides of who was responsible for their event. It’s clear there’s a much larger issue going on at this place than meets the eye with such extreme turnover. We also had multiple in person meetings to express our concerns—they never had an accurate file for our wedding, had the wrong time, hardly knew our date/names, no details had been passed on from person to person, and nothing was in place for our wedding. The General Manager came into one of our meetings for a minute and was very rude, dismissive of our concerns, and very nonchalant toward our event. It was extremely unprofessional and caused us to believe that they would not be able to pull off our wedding day. We also discovered that only 4 weddings were happening in the 9 months prior to our wedding, which is definitely not the case at almost every other wedding venue in this busy wedding year. They seem to have other priorities, and your wedding isn’t it. Thankfully, we found a new venue that is amazing and at least got our deposit back from here (from someone who no longer works here). Working with Chester Valley was nothing but stressful and was a truly awful experience. The stress and headache of dealing with CVGC is so not worth it! There are lots of venues out there who will care about your wedding day as much as you do and will work hard to make it a priority. This is currently not one of them. We gave very honest feedback in our email to them when we switched venues, and we hope that they address these issues and things improve at CVGC so they can provide better service in the future.

Chester Valley is an amazing reception venue. We had our September wedding here and the experience could not have been any better. Working with Tina and Andrew to plan from afar (we do not live locally) went as smoothly as possible. They were helpful, always available, and able to accommodate our requests even at the last minute. They both went above and beyond to make our reception exceed our expectations. The food was incredible, the clubhouse and outdoor space are beautiful, and all of the servers were friendly. It is the perfect place to have a wedding!

Working with Tina at Chester Valley was a wonderful experience from start to finish! Planning our wedding from California, we had to do things on a different timeline than normal and Tina worked with us to fit in meetings and tastings when we were available. The food was amazing, and meals were brought out quickly so that the party could get started. Chester Valley is a beautiful venue, and the ballroom was a perfect size for our wedding of ~160 people. My bridesmaids and I were able to get ready at Chester Valley in the morning with breakfast and champagne in a comfortable room before our ceremony at Villanova. From the beginning, Tina worked with us to help us realize our vision, and was able to give suggestions when we didn't know what we wanted. We loved working with Tina, nothing went wrong on our wedding day, and I would have my wedding reception at Chester Valley again in a heartbeat!!

We had our wedding reception at Chester Valley Golf Club in October, 2019. The reception went very smoothly and the staff was very hospitable! The food was delicious and served in a timely manner. Many guests complimented us on how much fun they had. Also, the landscape of the golf course provides a great backdrop for pictures! All in all we loved CVGC and would recommend it for your wedding.

Chester Valley Golf Club was absolutely stunning and the grounds lended perfectly to amazing pictures for our special day. Tina, who helped coordinate the entire event, was AMAZING! She was down to earth, listened to all my wants and concerns, and helped make our day flow so nicely. If anything went wrong or awry that day, my husband and I had no idea because of how professional Tina and her crew handled everything! The entire event staff at Chester Valley made the night one we will remember forever and made the planning process a breeze. Even when Tina was away on maternity leave, the employees that helped in her absence made me feel like they weren’t missing a beat and were totally involved in my planning process, even when I did add a signature drink on at the last minute! From the set up to the clean up, Tina and her crew handled everything very professionally and really listened to my vision as a bride. I would recommend this venue over and over again!

Chester Valley made our wedding day absolutely perfect & everything I ever wanted in a wedding!! Tina & Elisa were fantastic to work with from the second we met them. They were always easy to get a hold, answered any questions we had along the way, made us feel at welcome & made sure we had absolutely nothing to worry about the week leading up/day of our wedding. They honestly made the reception part of wedding planning as stress-less as possible :) The second we arrived at the venue for pictures (which has some stunning spots for by the way), we were welcomed by a staff member showing us where our bridal suite was & if we needed anything. The room and decorations were beautiful & exactly how we envisioned with Elisa and Sarah there the whole day to make sure everything ran smoothly! My husband and I could have not asked for a more perfect day & we have the whole Chester Valley staff to thank for a large part of that!! Hearing from our guests, they would also agree with us (great food, staff & party), as we are still hearing compliments almost 3 weeks later. Would 10 out 10 recommend them to any bride if you want a seamless and great team to work with while planning your wedding!! So so happy we choose them as our wedding venue!!

Tina and Elisa made my wedding the most beautiful day of my life. From the beginning, they were organized, prompt, and full of great suggestions. They worked with me through every question I had and really were very clear on everything. Unlike other venues I visited, I never felt that there were any hidden costs. They were upfront on pricing, and worked with me within my budget. I brought in my decor two days before the wedding, and told them how to set everything up. Needless to say, it came out amazingly beautiful. Tina worked very well with our Band as well, and the band leader mentioned that he was very happy working with her. Most brides say that something will go wrong the day of the wedding, but as for mine, it was seamless. And I thank Tina and Elisa for that. I am proud to say my day was perfect thanks to the Team at CVGC!

We went with Chester Valley Golf Club for a number of reasons. While thinking of doing a rustic wedding, we ended up visiting this country club to have a variety of options and fell in love. The location was perfect and the venue is beautiful both inside and out. The staff was always welcoming and extremely helpful leading up to the day. Tina, the coordinator was knowledgable and so easy to work with! She knows the industry and was able to work with our special requests, she and her staff were the best! If you're looking for a one stop shop with a beautiful atmosphere, space for all your guests and friendly service this is your venue!

My husband Chris and I could not be happier with our choice of Chester Valley as the location of our wedding reception on October 6, 2018. We both knew as soon as we visited Chester Valley Golf Club and met Tina for the first time that we would be having our reception there. The location and the surrounding landscape was exactly what we had pictured in our heads for our wedding reception. Tina made every detail of planning our reception so easy for us and was willing to help in any way that she could. She truly brought our wedding vision to life! We have heard from a large number of our guests just how great everything was during our reception. Everyone was raving about how delicious their meals were and how great the service was! Tina ensured that everything ran smoothly and that my husband and I could truly enjoy our day! We cannot thank Tina and the staff enough for helping to make our day PERFECT, and hope to visit again soon!

My husband and I cannot say enough about the experience that we had celebrating our wedding at Chester Valley Golf Club! We were searching for a wedding venue with a casual outdoor cocktail hour and a gorgeous ballroom for our reception, and Chester Valley was the perfect location for us! The club’s event planner, Tina, was a huge part of the amazing experience that we had. Tina was so pleasant and fun to work with, and we truly appreciated her creative ideas and attention to detail. She accommodated all of our requests and enabled our vision for the big day to become a reality. Tina, Elise, and the entire staff at CVGC went above and beyond and we cannot thank them enough. All of our guests commended the beautiful grounds at cocktail hour, the amazing service throughout the evening, and the delicious food. The entire experience at Chester Valley was a dream come true and we would highly recommend this wedding venue!

Choosing Chester Valley for our wedding reception venue was the BEST decision my husband and I made !!!!! Throughout the search for venues we met with various places in the city and suburbs of Philadelphia, however when we heard about Chester Valley and spoke with Tina it was an absolute no brainer. Tina was hands down the absolute best, she made the whole wedding planning process a breeze. From the moment we booked our venue she explained how at Chester Valley there is no set price/person and everything is customized to what selections we chose. Tina was always responsive to my emails and phone calls. Tina's kind, down to earth personality is infectious and she is truly the gem of Chester Valley. On the day of our wedding, Tina and the staff at Chester Valley not only ensured that my husband and I had everything we needed, but our guests at our wedding also commented on how accommodating and nice they were to them. Our guests could not stop raving about how delicious the food was and that was served hot ( a feat for 215 guests)! Chester Valley is a gorgeous venue with some fabulous spots for some awesome pictures. I could go on and on about how fabulous our experience was, but you will not be disappointed by choosing Chester Valley!!!

My husband and I got married at CVGC this summer and I cannot say enough positive things about this place. The venue was gorgeous and Tina was the best!! She went above and beyond. I could reach out to her anytime with questions and she would get back to me right away. She was very accommodating and informative the night before, we had no issues the day of the wedding. I appreciated everything she did for us, from helping me with the place cards, to running around in the rain so we did not have to! I hope to stay in touch with her (and possibly be her babysitter so she can continue to do this for other happy couples!!) Thank you so much CVGC team and Tina!!

I'd give 1000000000 stars if I could!!! Tina and the CV team were an absolute DREAM to work with from start to finish. Our wedding day flowed seamlessly and I truly felt that they went above and beyond to give my family, friends, and I a day we will never forget. Chester Valley was extremely accommodating to all of our special requests & needs and I didn't have a worry in the world on my wedding day because of it. Tina is so incredibly helpful and pleasant to work with - she is an absolute ray of sunshine!! The venue itself is so beautiful & the food was AWESOME.. seriously. The compliments were never-ending. The venue is absolutely beautiful - our pictures are stunning, and I cannot recommend choosing CV enough!

Cannot say enough good things about Tina, Abby, and the rest of the staff at Chester Valley. Tina was a God-send for us on our wedding day and we simply cannot imagine it without her! She is a huge asset for Chester Valley and made sure that everything went so smoothly. We didn't have to worry about a thing!

Having our reception at CVGC was the best decision. Tina and Abby are so hands on and easy to work with. They made us feel so comfortable through the entire process. This golf club is nestled in the perfect location and the building and golf course are both stunning. The built in event planner (Tina) really went above and beyond anything I would have hoped for and really made our day special. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful experience with Chester Valley Golf Club in hosting our wedding reception. The entire staff was extremely helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. Tina Tuffner was a wonderful asset in helping with the planning and making the day run smoothly. The venue is gorgeous, with beautiful grounds for pictures and a perfect ballroom. The food was delicious! Making the final decision on which food to choose was so difficult because we liked everything we tried! All of our guests complimented us in saying that it was one of the most fun weddings that they have ever attended. I am so glad that we chose Chester Valley, which made our dream wedding into a reality.

Chester Valley Golf Club was absolutely amazing and helped my husband and I put on an incredible wedding. It was the best day of our lives and we couldn't have done it without the awesome staff. Andrew, Christina, and Amy are wonderful to work with. The entire staff is friendly, accommodating, and also great communicators. They answered all of our hundreds of questions and honored all of our requests. The entire weekend ran smoothly for us - from dropping off all of the decorations, to the entire wedding day, and ending with picking up everything at the end of the night as well as the next day. The servers also deserve a ton of credit! We had our own designated server who took care of us (bride & groom) the entire night. We were never left empty handed or hungry! We got a ton of compliments from our guests on the venue, service, and even the food. Thank you so much!

My husband and I chose Chester Valley Golf Club for our wedding venue, and I could not have been happier with our experience. The event managers are so nice and very knowledgeable, and they were flexible to meet our every need. The food was incredible and consistent for each guest; everything was delicious and came out hot. So many of our guests are still raving about the food and the fun weeks later! The bar and table service was fast and friendly, and the staff made sure everyone had a great time. Would definitely recommend this venue!

We had a very positive experience at Chester Valley. The service was great, although our coordinator was not always available when we needed her, she was pretty laid back overall. The food was overall fairly good, the filet was a bit red, but still delicious. The room is perfect for approximately 100-110 people. A great venue, beautiful for pictures.
