line related. Wedding day we had a horrible storm midday that knocked the power out at our venue. They were so calm and collected the entire time working with us through alternative ceremony spot options because of all the rain. At the end of the day we were able to have our ceremony outdoors with full sunshine and the power came back on mid ceremony! They were on top of everything from start to finish wedding day and we were able to just relax and enjoy the entire time! Our lead coordinator was Kiley and she was absolutely amazing to work with! She was so efficient, able to help us with any random question leading up to the day, made it an amazingly organized day, and obviously did a great job keeping our wedding day stress free for us! The day of the wedding she purposefully placed everything I brought (memory table pictures, guest book, unplugged sign etc) in an even better way than I would've thought of and everything felt so seamless. I stressed for over 2 years planning our day and by that day I knew she understood my vision and I was so secure in her abilities to make it happen. That day I had zero stress (minus two vendor issues) I felt like everything was under control and I could enjoy the getting ready process with my bridesmaids.
We had a few vendor hiccups the day of the wedding (cake and florals) which she had no control over of course and I was so upset about it, it brought me to tears but she was able to talk me down and come up with a solution that would make me feel better in that moment and I am beyond grateful for that because her pep talk allowed me to focus on the positive and I was able to enjoy my reception.
Towards the end of the night we had planned for a "staged exit" with the photographers but the guests were having a ball and the photographers needed to leave and I was afraid a true exit with all the guests would kill the party (as I hear it typically does). She walks away and comes back with a brilliant idea to do a circle bubble exit outside on the venue patio with all the guests surrounding me and my husband (and our two girls) and it made for such amazing photos and unique exit that my friends all raved about. I am so grateful for her quick thinking and ability to keep things running so smoothly without killing the party. I received so many compliments about how well coordinated the day went and how I picked an amazing planner. Alot of people even complimented how sweet Erin was while also staying on task.
Not to mention, a week after the wedding I found myself still ruminating about the vendor issues and even though she likely had other weddings to do, she took the time out to talk things over with me via email. She gave me such great advice on how to approach reaching out to the vendors to rectify their mistakes made that evening which meant so much to me. It is evident that she prides herself in keeping her brides happy before, during and after the wedding. Throughout the planning process and by the end of the night I was so disappointed that I would not see her again because I felt like she had become family at that point. Thank you Erin for making our day everything I had hoped for! You are a gem!

Rehearsal and the day of the wedding could not have run any smoother because of Erin and a couple of women from her team. Not only was Erin and her team there for us at every step, so was Erin's husband. The morning of the wedding, my husband forgot to leave a house key for our dog walker. Erin's husband came to the venue to get our house key and drove all the way to our house to let our dog out and leave the key for the next walkers (almost TWO HOURS roundtrip total)!!!
All in all, Erin is nothing short of incredible and her assistants the day of our wedding were equally kind and helpful. Booking Erin specifically was worth the price to have the support, experience and expertise, and love she showed my husband and I!

I received structured emails each month with to-do lists, this broke things down into a manageable planning process. If I ever had any questions about vendor recommendations, the best way to do something in the wedding, etc, Erin was always quick to respond with helpful information. On rehearsal day, Erin handled my large bridal party (plus all the relatives in attendance) with ease. She was so well-organized and even had day-of timeline cards for each bridal party member. Fast forward 6 months I ended up signing with Chestnut and Vine because I wanted to be able to enjoy my wedding day and not have to worry about deliveries, setting things up or making sure everything ran smoothly. There's no way we could have pulled our wedding off without Erin. But beyond that, we actually ENJOYED our wedding. Like, had a freaking blast didn't want the night to end. To be honest I didn't think that was possible, I just assumed your wedding day was always stressful (so much so that I was pro eloping). We hired Erin and her team as our day-of coordinator, but she was really with me through the entire process. Every month she would send me a checklist of items I should be working on for the month and checked in on us often. She really acted like a very close friend and she is so easy to get along with. Erin and her team are also very knowledgeable and very quick to respond as well. Erin calmed all of my nerves in the few weeks before the wedding (right when Hurricane Florence was coming through North Carolina as well) and took care of every little detail item (and I mean EVERY little detail) during the day. She constantly checked on us to make sure we where thrilled on our wedding day and kept us right on schedule (very important to me). Erin even double checked items I was nervous about - like making sure the correct songs played for our ceremony. I really didn't have to worry about a thing since I trusted Erin completely.
If you are unsure (like I was at first) on spending money on a wedding coordinator think about it this way - you are spending months (maybe a year!) planning and selecting items and events to create an amazing day for you, your family and friends.
