We can't recommend Chevy Chase Ballroom enough! My husband and I decided to take dance lessons before our wedding, and we had the pleasure of working with Alina, who is simply the best. She was incredibly patient and encouraging & created a beautiful, memorable dance for us to celebrate our big day. Thanks to her amazing instruction and support, we felt comfortable and confident on the dance floor. Our wedding dance was everything we hoped for and more. We loved the experience so much that we decided to continue lessons after the wedding, and now it's a highlight of our week. Alina makes each lesson enjoyable and has such a special way of connecting with her students. Whether you're looking for a wedding dance, a great date night, or just a fun skill to learn we highly recommend you go to Chevy Chase!

Alina and Chevy Chase Ballroom were excellent! She helped us prep a beautiful dance for our wedding with only ~1 month notice. She was patient and kind with us as we were both very novice, and she broke things down so they were very simple to understand. Our dance was perfect for what we wanted and wowed our guests - it was the talk of the evening! Highly recommend Alina and her team.

Caveat: I'm an experienced dancer (though my husband is not), so individual results may vary. I wish I could remember the name of the person we worked with, because she was great....

We booked super last-minute and were only able to get one lesson in before our big day, but our instructor was able to give us some simple steps to work with. Because I'm an experienced dancer, I was able to use the foundations and work with my now-husband to complete the choreography. I would definitely recommend them. We're actually thinking about taking dance lessons with them just for fun!

as our favorite part of wedding planning and one of the best parts of our wedding day. We miss CC ballroom already! With ZERO prior social dance experience together, we were able to perform a hybrid foxtrot and swing dance 2:30 min routine that was a fantastic surprise for our family and friends. Dmytro was super encouraging and the most patient with our complete lack of rhythm and synchronization (see photo for proof). He helped create a dance that was fun and very “us.” In the three months leading up to our wedding, we ended up taking 7-9 lessons though I’m sure most couples don’t need that many, we loved having the lessons to break up the tedium of other wedding planning tasks. We felt it was excellent value and well worth the investment. Dmytro and Irina are top notch at what they do and you cannot go wrong with Chevy Chase Ballroom no matter your skill level or time constraints!

ugh to give my groom and I an idea of what to do, how to look natural and graceful, and without us coming across as over-choreographed. They customized our dance to our song, venue, and our skill level (low). Every guest said how cute our first dance was, they were very impressed that we managed to do more than just the 'prom sway' and now my husband and I have a few moves in our back pockets for future chances to dance!
