lly am so SO sorry that this even happened! It was never my intentions for you to have a negative experience in anyway, especially on such a beautiful day. Believe me, I don't take this lightly! During our final meeting to put together your timeline, we did go over your submitted questionnaire and I asked you a bunch of other questions to make sure we were on the same page. Which it sounded like we were! When it came time to go over the events taking place during the reception, you were unsure of times and didn't have any further information to pass along. This was totally okay and I was able to get everything squared away afterwards with info. from your other vendors. While on that phone call, it was also never mentioned that you wanted specific photos of guests at their tables. I should have asked if this was something you wanted. But I will honestly say that even if you did mention this, it would have been very hard gathering these photos of guests when they're not present - which is why you have so many candid images of the dance floor. I do remember you mentioning that you wanted candid photos throughout the entire day, so that's where my attention was and where we had some confusion. Again, my apologies! As for your wedding party walking back down the aisle after the ceremony - I was the only photographer there that day, and as I turned back around from documenting the emotions between you and B, the wedding party was already down the aisle gathering together. In regards to timing - per the timeline I put together, I had my arrival at 12:30pm which was approved by you 4 days before the wedding after you requested a few major adjustments. Now to be completely honest, that was more than enough time needed. It was 1.5 hours before I was even scheduled to begin my coverage at 2pm. For every wedding I'm always there at least 1 hour beforehand, you requested I be there earlier though. Looking back at text messages with my husband, I did in fact arrive before 12:30pm. And before coming to you, I walked around the venue property, chatted with staff, took care of a cat issue and even walked the property again with the videographer. I can't remember what time I received the solo text from you, but I do remember standing right beside you when I got your message because service was spotty. On wedding days, I'm not always on my phone either, because my attention is pointed toward the day at hand. After we briefly spoke while you were getting your makeup done and we put together a game plan due to the unpredictable weather we were having, I went back to my vehicle, ate a quick snack and put together my gear. I turned my cameras on and took my first set of photos at 1:41pm, almost 20 mins before coverage was scheduled to begin. The day turned out to be beautiful and thankfully there was no major rain. It really was so much fun seeing the interactions between everyone from your family to your friends, just celebrating and having a great time together. It was also a very long day for everyone and I was there the entire afternoon / evening for my contracted amount of time *7 hours* plus some, and left a little after 9:30pm. Again, I really am so sorry that I wasn't able to capture everything you hoped for. From the bottom of my heart, I wish you and B nothing but the absolute best!
