Hate stiff, awkward photos? Same! Your wedding day should feel like you—fun, meaningful, and full of moments that actually matter.
I’m an Upstate New York based wedding photographer who believes in storytelling over stiff poses and keeping your day stress-free. Let's be honest, weddings are emotional, unpredictable, and a little chaotic—but your photography experience shouldn’t be! I get it—being in front of a camera can feel weird. Add in all the emotions, and suddenly you’re a hot mess. That’s where I come in. To capture every real, unfiltered, beautifully chaotic moment while making sure you actually enjoy the day.
More then just a photographer—your story actually matters to me. Because years from now, when you look back at these photos, I want you to remember exactly how it felt—not just how it looked.
What you can expect:
A mix of natural light, rich tones, and a little edge—photos that feel effortless, true to you, and timeless. No forced moments, no awkward poses. Every love story is different, and your photos should reflect that. Because all love is valid, and every wedding deserves to be documented in a way that feels authentic. 💕
If you want a photographer who’s fully invested in telling your story, let’s connect! I’d love to hear your story.
Cheyenne Lee Photo is a business based in Upstate NY that offers wedding photography services for laid-back couples wherever their next chapter takes them.

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our wedding and engagement photos! From the moment we started working with her, Cheyenne made the entire process feel effortles...
s. She did an incredible job with our engagement photos, and we were absolutely thrilled with how they turned out. It gave us complete confidence going into our wedding day, knowing we were in such capable hands.
She was super accommodating and thorough, ensuring every detail was covered in advance. We went over the schedule beforehand, and she made sure we had all the specific group photos we wanted, which was such a relief. Her attention to detail was unmatched, and she was always quick to respond to any of our questions or requests, which made the entire experience stress-free.
On the day of the wedding, she was a calming and positive presence, seamlessly capturing candid moments and organizing group shots without disrupting the flow of the day. Her professionalism, combined with her warmth and kindness, really put us at ease, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making our day perfect.
The quality of the photos speaks for itself—every moment, big and small, was beautifully captured. We’re beyond excited to see the final album and relive those memories. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer who goes above and beyond to make your special day unforgettable!
Cheyenne went above and beyond for our family photos. She traveled over an hour to accommodate our location. She made everyone feel comfortable. She also played with our dog and go...
t great shots of her. I am beyond happy.
We got married in September this year and Cheyenne was our photographer. She was recommended to us by many family and friends who have used them for their weddings as well as other...
life moments. I say photographer but she is so much more than that. When you choose Cheyenne to be your wedding photographer, she brings so much more to the table than anyone could ever ask for, or expect. We first did our engagement shoot with Cheyenne, where she made everything so fun- told us to bring a beer or two and just did everything to make it feel natural just the two of us without a camera. We knew she was going to do a wonderful job capturing our big day.
Our wedding day- I don’t even know where to start. Prior to the wedding, she met with us multiple times to talk about vision, and to make a timeline for the day. The day of the wedding she came to the bridal suite first thing and checked in with me, asking me how I was doing and re-assuring me this would be the best day (despite the forecast of pouring rain). She listened to my concerns, and didn’t take them lightly. She kept us on schedule and was able to round up 8 men who don’t listen for shit, and photograph them so well while they are being classic guys. Although I had two day of wedding planners, Cheyenne felt like the planner to me. She was so attentive of the time, and how much time we had to do things and kept 20+ people on schedule prior to the ceremony and reception, working closely with the wedding planners and venue owner. She knew that our first look and private vow reading was something that was very important to us. She worked with us to go off property of the venue to a different location right down the road for this. We were able to get this in before the rain came down in buckets. When we got back to the venue, it was supposed to be time to do bridal party photos, the rain sort of throwing off the schedule- these had to get done quicker than we anticipated due to flipping the venue into an inside ceremony site. Nevertheless, Cheyenne took beautiful photos and got done what needed to be done so we could enjoy cocktail hour after the ceremony. All while I was spiraling because it was pouring rain and that wasn’t my vision, she made me feel at ease which doesn’t go without mentioning. Cheyenne has become more than a vendor to us, but a friend that we can’t wait to have photograph many more precious life moments- a person that we will always support and wish the best. If you are looking for a down to earth- badass human, that takes wonderful photos and makes your entire special day run smoothly- then Cheyenne is your gal. Also, she never misses the small details. We are forever thankful for her🤍
Cheyenne is the best! We chose her for our winter wedding because I loved how she talked about wanting to capture real moments and help couples feel comfortable. We are SO not the ...
stand around and pose types. Even though she was a little far from our location, she was open to travel and even came in the day before for the welcome party. We also packed in an extra shoot with just each other and our dog the morning of the wedding, which was the perfect, light-hearted way to start the day and immediately put us at ease. On the day of, she went between the boys getting ready house and the venue, capturing everyone's moments with friends and family - she was everywhere, but was honestly barely noticeable (in a good way!). Working with Cheyenne made photography something I didn't even think about on our wedding day.. and after the wedding was over Cheyenne was super communicative about when we would see the photos. I was obsessed with them all, and had such a hard time choosing which to print...which is why we have so many all around our house. She really captured our close, family-filled, loving day perfectly. No stiffness, awkwardness, or fake smiles anywhere to be found. I would recommend Cheyenne over and over to anyone!
We had a great experience working with Cheyenne! She is the sweetest person, who has an eye for capturing the small moments, which is exactly the style of photography we wanted for...
our special day! Cheyenne puts so much effort in with her clients. She makes everyone feel so special and it shows in her work! Plus, she had to deal with our crazy wedding party and family chaos! She had a timely turn around for our final gallery (which was truly beautiful)
We love Cheyenne and are so excited for her to shoot our wedding next year! From the moment I stumbled upon her Instagram while scrolling photos of other couples and who have gott...
en married at our venue I knew she would be a perfect fit for us! We had our engagement shoot with her a couple of months ago and she had ideas that I would’ve never thought of and those are my favorite photos of them all. She was also able to help us remember our sweet dog who passed away shortly before our session and we will cherish those photos forever. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for someone who is genuine, kind, creative, talented, fun yet laid-back, and who truly cares about her couples.
We worked with Cheyenne a few months ago to shoot our engagement photos. My fiance and I have never taken any professional photos so we were very out of our element.. at first. Che...
yenne worked with us and made us feel SO comfortable, our session was full of laughs! We received our full gallery so quickly and instantly fell in love with every single photo! We just booked her for our wedding next year and are looking forward to working with her again!!!
My husband and I got married in June of this year. One of the hardest vendors for us to choose from in the beginning was a photographer. Once we met with Cheyenne, we knew she was ...
the perfect fit for us. She was so personable and kind from the first meeting with us. She did an amazing engagement photo shoot with us back in September of last year and gave us option to choose where ever we wanted for the location and also helped give suggestions to a location as there are so many to choose from! Cheyenne was also tremendous in figuring out our wedding day timeline. This was something my husband and I were both stressed about just making sure we had everything right, but she just asked us simple questions and did everything from there! This was so beyond helpful! She also shared it with all of vendors after she put the timeline together too. Fast forward to our wedding day - she was nothing short of amazing!! She got there early to check out the venue first and then was right on it with photos of the guys and then the girls! Cheyenne captured amazing photos from every single part of our day. I attached just a few that she captured. She was amazing getting all of our family pictures done after the ceremony too! Cheyenne also bustled my dress for me before the reception with ease and so quickly! This was beyond helpful and so kind of her as it wasn’t something she had to do, but she was so happy to do it! She was with us for almost 12 hours on our wedding day and had a smile on her face the entire time. She is so genuine and amazing at what she does. We are so thankful that we did because she’s the absolute best!
One more thing that Cheyenne does that I didn’t see a lot of vendors do that was so helpful - you can do a payment plan with her and pay every few months before your wedding (depending when you book). This was really helpful as weddings are expensive of course so having this option really helped us plan and prepare better! Make sure you book Cheyenne! You will NOT regret it, I promise!
Cheyenne was by far our favorite vendor. We are both so incredibly happy to have had her as part of our day and throughout our planning process. She is a calming voice in all of t...
he chaos. She is encouraging, supportive and professional. When we first met with her, we talked with her candidly of what our ideal day would be and she was our biggest advocate to make sure it was exactly that, and did a beautiful job of capturing it. Our friends and family rave about our candid photos, expressing how much fun the day was and how well our photos captured the love and experience of us and all who were there. She is truly wonderful and I cannot recommend her enough.
I cannot stress how wonderful Cheyenne is, if you need a photographer for your wedding look no further than Cheyenne lee photo. Cheyenne was on top of everything, always checking i...
n on us and how wedding planning was going and was incredibly flexible when our sunrise engagement shoot had to be rescheduled because of bad weather even though she was up and ready to go at 5am she was happy to move the appointment to make sure our photos were perfect. Her flexibility did not stop there, 2 days before my wedding I had to completely change my getting ready location, not only did Cheyenne adjusts the schedule to make it work and make sure we got the photos we wanted, she also picked up everything that I needed, brought it to the venue and set it up for us. Not only is Cheyenne an amazing person but she is also incredibly talented, our photos came out better than we could have imagined and she captured every moment perfectly. By the end of our wedding Cheyenne was much more than our photographer, she became our friend.
Simply, yes. Pick her. Cheyenne was the easiest decision we made in all of our wedding planning. We had been in a wedding she photographed and that couple raved about her also. If ...
you want impeccable photos, from someone who will also crack a beer with you, Cheyenne is your lady. We could not have gotten through this day without her friendship, guidance, and down to earth mentality. She knew what we envisioned and she made it happen. Her work is beautiful, she is one of the most amazing people you will meet, and she was able to wrangle 12 groomsmen. She gave us a welcome folder during our engagement photos including treats for our pup. She followed up with us periodically and was extremely responsive. She kept me as the bride sane, and offered me continuous reassurance. She also met with us to make sure we were all on the same page, and covering everything important to us, which was then followed up by a detailed timeline for photos. This was my life boat. All of our wedding party loved her, and the results. You will see your photos and feel the warmth and happiness of your special day all over again. Not to mention the beautiful engagement photos. We love her and her work. 10/10.
Amazing to work with! Cheyenne might be the nicest person I have ever met! So kind, so positive, and asked us tons of questions to get to know us so our photos felt like "us" as a...
couple. She also worked very quickly the day of, which is very important so you can get back to the dance floor! She sent our pictures to us through a website which makes them easy to access and she organized them into folders which made it easy to share with family. Thank you Cheyenne!
At first everything was great. The day of the wedding she showed up later than the discussed time, did not let me know the day of, I was reaching out to see where she was and got n...
o response till she got there. She did not take pictures of the bridal party walking back from the ceremony. Supposedly you have to tell them to do that? To me that is a given. Who doesn’t want pictures of that? We also got a ton of pictures of the dance floor and none of people at the tables. I did not know that was a thing I had to discuss with a photographer? Just be really specific as to what you want photographed is what it comes down too.
Cheyenne is literally AMAZING! Sweet, understanding, professional, and flexible. My husband and I could not have chosen a better photographer for our wedding.
Cheyenne was helpful, professional, and captured beautiful photos. She was easy to contact and extremely helpful in the whole process before and during the wedding.

and helped us navigate some last minute timing/scheduling changes. On top of that out photos turned out absolutely gorgeous! Would definitely recommend choosing Cheyenne for your next event!
I can't recommend Cheyenne enough! She was so on the ball throughout the entire process and remained flexible, communicative, and organized as some of the plans surrounding the day...
of the wedding changed. The start of our wedding day didn't go exactly as planned and she saved the day in more ways than one...from pulling the entire wedding party and families together, helping my husband tie his bowtie, and keeping me calm she was ON it. Thank God we had her because I'm not sure what we would have done otherwise. She respected our wishes for remaining as present as possible throughout the evening as well. We received our sneak peak from the wedding and I'm already in awe over her work and can't wait to see the full album of photos! Thank you SO much Cheyenne, you are the absolute best. Do not hesitate to book her!

r wedding day. The whole process went to smoothly, even on the wedding day when we were behind on time. Cheyenne is the sweetest, most communicative person to have by your side on your big day. The sneak peek of photos from our wedding day had us absolutely swooning and we can’t wait to see the rest. Hannah, her assistant for the day was also incredible and had no problem handling a group of occasionally rowdy groomsmen. If you are on the fence, please don’t be. Choose Cheyenne over and over again - you will not regret it. Thank you so much for making mine and Johns day everything we dreamt it would be. I not only felt like we met a sweet and caring vendor, but it feels like we made a friend for life. Thank you!!!

s a little non-traditional. We connected via zoom before the wedding , which made us feel comfortable in her abilities to capture what we wanted. She was super sweet and kind.
The quality of Cheyenne’s work is amazing. We’ve received so many compliments on our photos and we’ve only had the full gallery for 1 day! The weather was not in our favor, however you would never be able to tell based on the quality of the photos. We are very pleased!
If you are looking for a wedding photographer who is professional, reliable, knows how to capture your special moments and edit them then look no further…you found her!

and followed through on everything we had discussed and planned for our wedding day! The pictures that we received were incredible, which made it so worth standing out in the freezing cold during our winter wedding. I would highly recommend Cheyenne for any photo shoot you are looking for

ou should have seen her sneakers at that the end of our wedding day. She would stand in puddles of water just to get the perfect shot. Not only are her photos breathtaking, but she is one of the kindest individuals we’ve had the pleasure of working with. We had a gothic/Halloween style wedding and the pictures just came out absolutely beautiful. I can promise you that you will not regret picking her to capture your special day.

e us feel super comfortable as it was our first professional photo session. She made jokes, got to know us, and awesome recommendations for locations and poses to try. She was easy to contact and got our photos back to us quickly. We absolutely loved our photos and can’t wait for next year!

e to get to know my husband and I well before we even met in person and was always either an email or phone call away. I strongly believe that the relationship we built leading up to our wedding contributed to how comfortable my husband and I were in front of the camera, which lead to AMAZING photos! Cheyenne also helped to put together a day-of timeline which really alleviated any added stress and allowed us to know exactly how the day was going to run. And it ran so smoothly! My husband and I just received our gallery and we have not stopped looking at the wonderful collection of photos Cheyenne was able to capture. Every time we look at them, we feel like we are reliving the day and that means the world to us. I love that Cheyenne chooses to focus on capturing candid photos, rather than emphasizing typical poses. Our unpolished moments are some of the best photos in our collection and it has been so fun to view our special day from such a unique prospective. I highly recommend Cheyenne for your special day- you will not be disappointed!!

ptured the energy and details of our day so perfectly! The turn around time for our gallery was a little longer than some photographers, BUT I feel that it was 100% worth it due to the sheer volume and quality of photos she edited and released to us. We ended up with hundreds of beautiful photos to choose from, and I know we will cherish them for the rest of our lives. We are so thrilled with our experience!
If we could, we would give Cheyenne 10

e with us to make sure she captured all the details we wanted, and it made for a stress free day! I was dreading taking over 25 family photos but she had us create a list of who we wanted photographed in advance and we were able to fly through them so quickly! She also got amazing photos of me and my friends getting ready, our ceremony, our dinner and our end of the night celebrations. Each part of the night was put into different sections on our photo website, making them easy to view and access. We are so happy we hired her - she is a total gem and I highly recommend booking her for your event!
