Chez Hotel

l, and with a July wedding, we wanted the security of having an indoor option in case the weather didn’t cooperate. Before booking, we met with the sales manager and specifically discussed our plans. We were told that the air conditioning would be on in the rooftop space because we wanted to do our first look and vows there. We were also told that the fountain would be turned on so that it would be a beautiful backdrop for our photos. We were instructed to simply check in at the front desk and that everything would be taken care of. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. My photographers arrived before I did, and the front desk staff had no idea that we were coming to take bridal photos. When we went up to the rooftop, the air conditioning was not on, and it was so hot that it was not possible to comfortably take photos or have our vows there. The fountain was also not turned on as we had been told it would be. Thankfully, my amazing photographers were able to think quickly and make something work at the last minute, but this was incredibly stressful and disappointing on what was already such an important day. What has been even more frustrating is the lack of customer service afterward. I have now called twice and emailed multiple times, and I still have not had anyone take ownership of the situation or properly address my concerns. I honestly felt that once they had our payment, the level of communication and customer service disappeared and we were no longer a priority. I am sharing this because I would want another bride or groom to know about my experience before making a decision. If something as simple as coordinating bridal photos could be this disorganized despite everything being discussed and promised ahead of time, I would personally be very concerned about trusting the hotel with an entire wedding day. The hotel itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, the experience and lack of follow-through from the staff left a very negative impression. Brides and grooms, please do your research, ask very specific questions, and make sure everything you are promised is confirmed and followed through on. I would hate for another couple to experience the same stress on their wedding day.

om is elegant and the rooftop bar is perfect for a unique cocktail party or just for hanging out. The food at our wedding event was delicious and the staff was able to bring everything out hot. Not easy to do for over 250 guests! I highly recommend!!

a lie. They had a huge Russian disco party on the rooftop (which they never told us about) and they were there until 2am. The music was extremely loud and insufferable and most of our wedding party guests (like me) refused to attend. So basically anyone in the hotel from the 4th floor and up did not sleep. We immediately notified the hotel the next day and they refused to compensate us in any way or refund our money for the night (even though we paid over $35,000 for the wedding itself). Very dissatisfied with the hotel experience. Be warned: on the weekend they seem to have these huge Russian EDM parties that last until 2am and you won’t get any sleep.

First and foremost, she made planning the wedding so easy, especially with my million and two questions. Everything I asked for and more happened the day of, but even more importantly, she was such a calming presence day of. She took care of everything and communicated with the vendors, allowing my husband and me to enjoy the day without having to do everything. I was already ready to have my family help with setting up the room, but Michelle was on it already at 10am (and our wedding reception wasn't until 7:00pm!). Anyone considering the Chez for their wedding should not give it a second thought. Honestly.
