Thank you to the Chez Rosa team for making our vow renewal party a night to remember! The event space is beautiful with high ceilings and exposed timber beams. We began with cocktails - served from the bar within the space - and passed appetizers. Dinner was served family style. The food was delicious with a wide variety of options from which to choose as we planned the menu. Vegetarian selections were available for each course to accommodate some of our guests. The Chez Rosa team was wonderful to work with and provided a high level of service during the event. It was perfect

Chez Rosa, near Kennebunkport, ME This ocean-friendly restaurant offers a chill venue and an inclusive menu for rehearsal dinners, showers, and other wedding parties. This isn't your usual French bistro, with the cozy New England barn setting and all. You can look forward to comfort food inspired by local nature, farms, seas, and pastures. Their Story Chez Rosa is owned and operated by Chef Kyle Robinson and Yazmin Saraya Jean. This husband-and-wife team started their journey in Colorado, bonding over their shared love of hospitality and the environment. They shared a dream of having their own business, and they made that happen after a move to Maine. This couple takes pride in being the first Ocean Friendly certified restaurant in the state of Maine. The Service Chez Rosa is an inviting setting to enjoy private dining, as the team will work closely with you to personalize your experience. Whether menu selections or wine pairings, each element will contribute to a memorable and seamless occasion.

Kyle Robinson
Executive Chef/co-owner
Kyle was born and raised in Kennebunk and studied culinary arts in Johnson and Wales in RI. He then moved out west for 18 years looking for job opportunities and better skiing. He lived in Las Vegas where he worked at Spago by Wolfgang Puck where his Chef and Mentor was French Chef Eric Klein, after 3 years there he moved to Aspen, CO and became the Chef de Cuisine for Element 47 at The Little Nell a 5-star 5 diamond property. Finally, after meeting Yazmin they moved back home to be close to family and became the Head Chef at Five Fifty-Five for 6 years to then open his very own place, Chez Rosa.

Yazmin was born and raised in Mexico City where she studied culinary arts and hospitality management at CESSA. She went to Madrid to do her internship. She then started working for French Chef and mentor Christian Garreau. Her interest and specialty were pastry and baking. She found a job opportunity and moved to Aspen, CO for a position in the pastry department at The Little Nell where she met Kyle. When they moved to Maine in 2014, she became the Pastry Chef at Five Fifty-Five, after 4 years she transitioned to the FOH as the General manager with the dream of opening her own restaurant always in mind. Finally, May 2020 they were able to open Chez Rosa.

contract, Yazmin and the entire Chez Rosa team made sure to work with us to verify our special day was everything we wanted. The location was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The team went so far as to build and offer a custom cocktail menu and wedding cake for us, which they absolutely knocked out of the park. We would highly recommend Chez Rosa for anyone seeking an intimate and thoughtfully curated event experience! :)
