Paul was super easy to work with and accommodating to what we wanted. He was able to make recommendations and produced beautiful photos all while making everyone comfortable (even a groom who HATES photos). He was able to bring out so much fun personality in our photos. Nothing looks stiff or staged which is exactly what we wanted. Great pricing as well and super fast turn around to get our pics to us.

My family had a sunset photo session with Chi Photography the beginning of November. We decided on Coquina Beach which provided a very cool setting for the multiple pictures taken. I had a family of 11 to control, that can be tricky, but Paul got enough pictures of everyone that we have plenty to choose from! I'm so excited to finally get a family portrait that everyone is happy with. Paul was very responisve to questions and texts and a pleasure to work with!

I found Paul in 2007 to do some family photos of my husband and our two boys. The pictures captured my sons personalities perfectly. They were so at ease with Paul. I don’t like many pictures that are posed, I love spontaneous shots and I adored those pictures. Fast forward 16 years, add another kid and another vacation in AMI. I immediately thought of our sitting with Paul all those years ago. We reconnected (so thankful he’s still in the business) for pictures this year. They are fantastic! A true family treasure. I added my parents in and it made it all the more special. Paul also was very easy to work with my outfit changes. Looking forward to the next family shoot but a lot sooner! Thanks Paul!

Paul was amazing! We co-ordinated to pretend like we don't know each other in order to make my proposal to my (now) fiancé a surprise! He played along, pretended to not know me, and she never saw it coming when we met halfway down the pier in Anna-Maria Island... And the pictures turned out AMAZING!! Simply amazing pictures! He easily managed to capture my large family of eleven, which includes 3 kids and our family dog, for a memorable sunset portrait session on Bean Point Beach, Anna Maria Island. We didn't just do the typical beach photos along the water's edge. Paul had multiple locations, at least four, in which he photographed my entire family. He even did a little mini photoshoot of our senior dog which we will cherish forever. He brought along professional lighting equipment which made the sunset pictures even more dramatic, well-lit, and varied. If you're looking for an incredible photographer, look no further! We live in Wisconsin and knew we wanted to get married in Anna Maria Island. We flew down in March to tour venues and wanted to get our engagement pictures taken on the beach. That is when we found Paul. We took our engagement pictures during what felt like the windiest day of the year. He managed to capture so many amazing photos of us. After seeing those photos there was no doubt we were going to secure him for our wedding. Fast forward 7 months later...the week of our wedding hurricane Eta was headed for the island. Being from the Midwest, we have no experience with hurricanes and it was very unsettling. We spoke with Paul a couple of days before the wedding and he was so calm and collected. He said we'd stay in touch and make adjustments as necessary. We appreciated that so much. Our wedding day went off as planned and he captured every moment so beautifully. Each time we look at our photos (which is often), it feels like we're right back in those unforgettable moments. Five stars all around!

Let me tell you about Paul with Chi Photography! He was the very first vendor I picked out, before I even had a location for the ceremony or reception! I initially planned my whole wedding in with two weeks’ notice- Paul was totally cool with it and ready to go. When I had to move the wedding because of COVID (the beaches were literally shut down the weekend we planned to get hitched) he was completely understanding. Each time I called him, he was polite, professional, and helpful. The day of the wedding, Paul was early. I was so excited to meet him!! He was completely unobtrusive and so nice!! I’ve seen photographers get antsy if they didn’t feel like the “timeline” was on schedule for them. Paul was nothing like that. He actually managed to get me to the ceremony on time, taking us on a shortcut when the traffic light was out!! All that is great, but of course what everyone really wants it great photography, right?!? My pictures were absolutely gorgeous. Paul let us play and be ourselves and it worked out beautifully. Somehow, together the pictures really tell the story of the day, from getting ready to the last kiss. He even managed to capture the dolphins at the ceremony and the drunk lady who interjected to tell us how beautiful our ceremony was. I would hire Paul again in a heartbeat. We plan for many future trips to our ceremony location (Anna Maria Island) and hopefully someday we will have some babies he can photograph in the future! I am a graphic designer and my husband a video editor. We hired Paul after viewing the videos and photos on his website. We loved his style and how beautiful the colors popped in the images and videos and we liked his overall style. We are two creative people so this was a hard vendor to find for us. What we got in return was nothing like what is shown on his site. Our pictures we're barely edited. Some looked like a filter was thrown onto them and that was it. Our video was absolutely awful. We asked for a 10 minute video and didn't even get half of that. The footage was all over the place, my vows were cut out of it and it looked like it was created by someone with little to no experience creating videos. I was furious. I contacted them and sent them a list of everything I thought was wrong, I'm paying for it so I expect it done to the same level that convinced me to hire the company in the first place. I asked for all the raw footage so we could just do our own video (shouldn't have to since we paid someone to do it) and they did send it. I was informed that a film student put our video together. Not the owner of the company, whose work we said we wanted for our own. I was told by Paul to discuss anything I needed to with this student and I was even more furious. He is the owner of the company. If I have a complaint I want to go to you, because that is who I hired. Paul seemed very dismissive towards all my frustrations and NEVER reached back out to me after this student sent a revised edit on our video. We were totally scammed by these services provided by Chi Photography. Not much was changed, a few minutes added with random shots. Nothing unique and personable to us. At the end of the video, they put the wrong wedding date. Even though the very first frame of the video is a poster from our ceremony with the date on it. I would not recommend this company to anyone. You might see their prices as being more affordable but I'm telling you, spend the money for a more experienced and professional group because this is your wedding day and your special moment. You want to remember it just as that and unfortunately we have some pretty mediocre photos and a terrible video to show for it.

We were vacationing in Anna Maria Island in early June and wanted professional pictures. Paul was amazing! So flexible and easy going. He has 5 little girls so he understands how a stressful a photo shoot can be with little ones. He is talented and captures Lifestyle poses in the session which I love! We were dealing with the weather from the first tropical storm of the season. Paul was so kind and worked around the forecast rescheduling as needed. Finally the last night of our vacation we Squeezed in a session. We got a little wet but made the best of it. The pictures are gorgeous and we are so grateful for You capturing these moments on such a beautiful island.

We hired Paul for our April beach wedding. Unfortunately, our wedding was canceled due to the Corona virus and since we had already paid the deposit, he offered us a family shooting at the beach (or a refund). We decided to still have some photos taken, and I am so happy we did because they turned out absolutely perfect. Paul was super professional and helpful throughout the entire process. Paul was phenomenal! I booked my wedding from a distance so I was unsure about the vendors I would wind up with.
