They seemed inexperienced and didn't know how to make a few basic drinks etc. I probably would have sought out a separate bar tending service or double checked the specific bar tenders for our event had a list of our expected drinks to be made. Otherwise they were very helpful and kind!

ut one of our signature drinks was Tequila soda & lime. Well we had forgotten the soda (lol) & the bar tender just asked for a credit card & they would take care of it. Needless to say I was drinking tequila sodas all night! Couldn’t recommend them enough!!

They were also quick to respond even though we aren't the best at responding back to the emails.They pre-packed the linens for us so we could set up the day of to make sure our centerpieces were placed, and the team present that day was incredible! The service was amazing and our family and friends can't stop telling us how good the food was and how fun and attentive the staff was! We had a buffet style dinner for 150 people and they were able to cook our parents' food specifically to their preferences and they were cognizant of our guests' food allergies. Not only that, the day of the wedding, they dedicated 2 people to my husband and I to make sure we had everything we needed whether it was getting appetizers during cocktail hour while we were taking pictures, getting more food during dinner, drinks, water, or whatever it was they were super attentive. The team that day was so helpful, they helped us pack up at the end of the night, packed up all the food for us, and they even got down on the dance floor with us! Everything was beautiful, delicious, and everything we could have wanted. We still get compliments on how good the food! We want to say thank you guys for making our dreams come true! If you could hire someone as your caterer we highly recommend Ravi and his team.

d friends who helped number our tables could not say enough about how helpful they were. They were kind enough to not only have appetizers and drinks in our bridal suite so we could enjoy the cocktail appetizers like everyone else, they also brought fresh ones to our table with dinner. TWO chic chef leads came to our table and told us their names so we could flag them down if we needed anything (which wasn’t much because they were so on top of everything). Food was delicious- they let us try everything as the bride and groom. We have 0 regrets booking them and would recommend to everyone!

He had such a strong attention to detail and went above and beyond to ensure everyone was taken care of and happy all with having the greatest smile on his face! Aside from the customer service, the food was amazing! We had a family style dinner and keep getting compliments such as "best wedding food I've had to date" and "I cannot believe how good the food was at your wedding." We personally loved the short rib and ravioli main course options. Thank you for such a great experience!

ic Chef absolutely blew us away. From our first phone call with Lucia, to our wedding day, the entire Chic Chef team was amazing. They were able to work with our budget and create an amazing bar and food menu that our guests loved. Not only did everything look beautiful, but the food was absolutely delicious!! We were able to do an extensive tasting with them to make sure every item on the menu was exactly what we wanted. From the hors d’oeuvres, to the main course, the salad, the dessert table, the drinks, everything was incredible. The team they sent on our wedding day were friendly and helpful, our event captain made sure we were taken care of all night, and the bar staff made sure we were never without a drink. They brought hors d’oeuvres to my husband and I and our entire wedding party to make sure we were all able to eat. All of our guests raved about how professional everyone was and how delicious our wedding meal was, and I would definitely recommend Chic Chef to any bride!

Throughout the tasting process the provided us not only with the menu options we selected but additional dishes they thought paired well with some of our initial selections and additional recommendations (that we ended up using). They encouraged us to sample each option and provide any preparation adjustments we thought necessary (more or less sauce, less seasoning, swapped toppings, etc.) and took studious notes to ensure these tweaks were included for our event. Their staff was very courteous and cordial even adjusting without complaint when we had an unavoidable late arrival to the second tasting. The Chic Chef team made sure to attend our venue walkthrough and beyond noting the required linens/silverware/glassware they provided very helpful insights into how to layout the venue during food service. This was greatly appreciated by my wife and I since we utilized the venue's space in a non-traditional layout. All of the upfront discussion and adjustments paid dividends as the reception itself went off spectacularly. The Chic Chef team were prompt in their arrival, efficient in their setup, and absolutely professional in the preparation and delivery of the food. They provided passed appetizers (at cocktail hour), plated salads, and plated meals for our event without any delay or shortage. Despite having speeches occurring throughout the event the Chic Chef team was able to discretely provide all food service without interruption. They additionally helped us plate and cut desserts that we sourced from a separate vendor. As a bonus their head staff member checked in with my wife and I throughout the event to ensure everything was proceeding as intended and to provide us our own meals and appetizers. The food itself was out of this world. Everything was prepared exactly as we had specified and with more than ample portions while being completely mindful of the allergy and diet preference list we provided from our guests. We have had no less than a dozen individual guests reach out to us following the reception to rave about the food and tell us it was the best they've ever had at a wedding. I assume their cleanup and tear down was as professional and efficient as the rest of their service because we did not even notice them depart. Our venue representative similarly raved about their communication and professionalism. To top all of this off their quote for our event was literally HALF the cost of the standard recommended caterers from our venue (and other venues we had explored). We will be recommending Chic Chef to any and all of our friends who plan an event in the Chicago area. st twice we could not decide on our final options. They were extremely communicative not only with us but with our day-of planner that took a ton of stress off of our shoulders. Almost 3 months later we still have people commenting us on the food and that the Steak was unforgettable. Absolutely would recommend. 10/10

m the time I saw them when they were setting up, to the end of the night, they were all smiling like it was their job to smile. The food was fantastic! They fire everything on site, so it’s fresh and not sitting in a chaffing dish. Communication process from start to finish was impeccable, if you’re lucky enough to work with Lucia (Lucy), she is seriously a pro. We were so worried about post-Covid prices but they were so reasonable with their food costs and even the extras were very manageable. Guests raved about the food for days afterwards. Even our pickiest family /friends were so excited about the food. It made us feel so happy that everyone was so happy. Hope to work with them again in the future!!

n details that would blow our guests minds. We got all that and more with Chic Chef and Lucy. From our very first phone calls and emails, through our big day, the whole team was friendly and professional in all the right ways. The balance between the two can be hard, but we never felt like it was purely a business transaction. Lucy and the team were incredibly flexible and accepting of some of our weird ideas (like banana margaritas), and generally just took away all the stress. They gained our confidence quickly within the first tasting and conversation around that, and had our trust as they guided us through what would look nice, go over well, what was reasonable and what wasn't. They clearly do this often, and do it well. Their existing relationship with our venue and some of our other vendors definitely helped, but it never felt like we were on the sidelines. On the big day, it was so fun to see Lucy and the team in execution mode. She was so attentive to us, and displayed a cool air of confidence that helped ensure we didn't even have a momentary thought that anything could go any other way than perfect. Everyone loved the food, the portions were immaculate, glasses were never empty, and our signature drinks and late night street tacos went off without a hitch. We cannot recommend Chic Chef, Lucy, and the whole team enough! The only part we're sad about is not having an excuse to interact with the team more regularly, and that no one will live up to the bar they set again.

When we had our walkthrough the Chic Chef representative asked all the right questions regarding how my husband & I wanted to have the catering team to run the day. The day of the wedding, Chic Chef team was on-time. They were experts when it came to our venue space, we do think that helped the day run smoothly! The food was incredible!! For dinner we served lemon herb chicken & Brazilian churrasco which was DELICIOUS! The team assigned to us was very focused on the details & made sure we were happy with the service. Closer to the end of the night Chef Ravi showed up & truly it was a sweet surprise. We have nothing but good things to say about Chic Chef, truly THANK YOU!
