Absolutely loved our experience with Chic Chef Catering. From the planning team to the tasting experience to the seamless coordination of the day of, I could not have asked for a better experience. The team the day of was attentive, kind, and efficient. They always ensured that the bridal party needs were met. Special shoutout to Jorge (unsure if this is how you spell his name) from the day of team. He had such a strong attention to detail and went above and beyond to ensure everyone was taken care of and happy all with having the greatest smile on his face! Aside from the customer service, the food was amazing! We had a family style dinner and keep getting compliments such as "best wedding food I've had to date" and "I cannot believe how good the food was at your wedding." We personally loved the short rib and ravioli main course options. Thank you for such a great experience!

Our venue had 4 choices of caterer we could use, so we were a little nervous with limited options because food was one of the most important things to us on our wedding day, but Chic Chef absolutely blew us away. From our first phone call with Lucia, to our wedding day, the entire Chic Chef team was amazing. They were able to work with our budget and create an amazing bar and food menu that our guests loved. Not only did everything look beautiful, but the food was absolutely delicious!! We were able to do an extensive tasting with them to make sure every item on the menu was exactly what we wanted. From the hors d’oeuvres, to the main course, the salad, the dessert table, the drinks, everything was incredible. The team they sent on our wedding day were friendly and helpful, our event captain made sure we were taken care of all night, and the bar staff made sure we were never without a drink. They brought hors d’oeuvres to my husband and I and our entire wedding party to make sure we were all able to eat. All of our guests raved about how professional everyone was and how delicious our wedding meal was, and I would definitely recommend Chic Chef to any bride!

Chic chef did an amazing job at our daughter’s wedding. They cooked everything on site for 170 guests in my son’s backyard property. The food was so great. Ravi thought of everything. Service was impeccable. All food was served in minutes and piping hot. So may compliments from our guests.

Chic Chef Catering traveled to Northwest Indiana for my wedding reception. The team was very communicative throughout the process. The food was fantastic and the staff was very prepared and professional.

We had a wonderful experience working with Ravi, Lucy, and the entire Chic Chef Catering team. They worked with us to bring our vision to life while staying within our budget. Lucy didn’t bat an eye as we told her that we wanted an espresso martini tower and a late night popcorn machine as our special touches to the night, and the team executed it perfectly! Their food was delicious (we are still receiving compliments on the meal!) and the service was excellent. We are so happy that we went with Chic Chef Catering!

We cannot rate Chic Chef high enough. They are, without question, a top-notch catering team in the Chicago area. Throughout the entire process (two tastings, venue walkthrough, and reception itself) the Chic Chef team was highly communicative, flexible to all our requests, and extraordinarily kind and professional. Throughout the tasting process the provided us not only with the menu options we selected but additional dishes they thought paired well with some of our initial selections and additional recommendations (that we ended up using). They encouraged us to sample each option and provide any preparation adjustments we thought necessary (more or less sauce, less seasoning, swapped toppings, etc.) and took studious notes to ensure these tweaks were included for our event. Their staff was very courteous and cordial even adjusting without complaint when we had an unavoidable late arrival to the second tasting. The Chic Chef team made sure to attend our venue walkthrough and beyond noting the required linens/silverware/glassware they provided very helpful insights into how to layout the venue during food service. This was greatly appreciated by my wife and I since we utilized the venue's space in a non-traditional layout. All of the upfront discussion and adjustments paid dividends as the reception itself went off spectacularly. The Chic Chef team were prompt in their arrival, efficient in their setup, and absolutely professional in the preparation and delivery of the food. They provided passed appetizers (at cocktail hour), plated salads, and plated meals for our event without any delay or shortage. Despite having speeches occurring throughout the event the Chic Chef team was able to discretely provide all food service without interruption. They additionally helped us plate and cut desserts that we sourced from a separate vendor. As a bonus their head staff member checked in with my wife and I throughout the event to ensure everything was proceeding as intended and to provide us our own meals and appetizers. The food itself was out of this world. Everything was prepared exactly as we had specified and with more than ample portions while being completely mindful of the allergy and diet preference list we provided from our guests. We have had no less than a dozen individual guests reach out to us following the reception to rave about the food and tell us it was the best they've ever had at a wedding. I assume their cleanup and tear down was as professional and efficient as the rest of their service because we did not even notice them depart. Our venue representative similarly raved about their communication and professionalism. To top all of this off their quote for our event was literally HALF the cost of the standard recommended caterers from our venue (and other venues we had explored). We will be recommending Chic Chef to any and all of our friends who plan an event in the Chicago area. Chic Chef was such a pleasure to work with from day one. I would recommend them to anyone! They are personable, organized, and the food was outstanding!

My, now wife and I, could not have asked for a better experience with catering. From start to finish they were accommodating of everything that we needed and allowed us to taste test twice we could not decide on our final options. They were extremely communicative not only with us but with our day-of planner that took a ton of stress off of our shoulders. Almost 3 months later we still have people commenting us on the food and that the Steak was unforgettable. Absolutely would recommend. 10/10

What can I say about this team? They are amazing! The staff were very attentive and intuitive to all of our guests, they anticipated needs and always seemed to be a step ahead. From the time I saw them when they were setting up, to the end of the night, they were all smiling like it was their job to smile. The food was fantastic! They fire everything on site, so it’s fresh and not sitting in a chaffing dish. Communication process from start to finish was impeccable, if you’re lucky enough to work with Lucia (Lucy), she is seriously a pro. We were so worried about post-Covid prices but they were so reasonable with their food costs and even the extras were very manageable. Guests raved about the food for days afterwards. Even our pickiest family /friends were so excited about the food. It made us feel so happy that everyone was so happy. Hope to work with them again in the future!!

Chic Chef was a pleasure to work with and was awesome on the day of. We used them for food and alcohol, and it was perfect. Our guests loved the flank steak, and they also loved the expansive drink selection. They were very affordable for our budget, and were experienced with our venue, which made the flip of the space that much easier. My only feedback is that email communication was somewhat difficult at times, but everything the day of was absolutely perfect.

Chic Chef is phenomenal. We worked with Lucy and her team, and from the beginning they were professional, friendly, and accommodating. They made the planning process incredibly easy and helped us create the perfect catering proposal within our budget. Chic Chef’s food was delicious and plated beautifully. Planning a wedding is wild, and one of the biggest areas of complexity is catering. We wanted a sophisticated and refined experience, with food that would be memorably good, and fun details that would blow our guests minds. We got all that and more with Chic Chef and Lucy. From our very first phone calls and emails, through our big day, the whole team was friendly and professional in all the right ways. The balance between the two can be hard, but we never felt like it was purely a business transaction. Lucy and the team were incredibly flexible and accepting of some of our weird ideas (like banana margaritas), and generally just took away all the stress. They gained our confidence quickly within the first tasting and conversation around that, and had our trust as they guided us through what would look nice, go over well, what was reasonable and what wasn't. They clearly do this often, and do it well. Their existing relationship with our venue and some of our other vendors definitely helped, but it never felt like we were on the sidelines. On the big day, it was so fun to see Lucy and the team in execution mode. She was so attentive to us, and displayed a cool air of confidence that helped ensure we didn't even have a momentary thought that anything could go any other way than perfect. Everyone loved the food, the portions were immaculate, glasses were never empty, and our signature drinks and late night street tacos went off without a hitch. We cannot recommend Chic Chef, Lucy, and the whole team enough! The only part we're sad about is not having an excuse to interact with the team more regularly, and that no one will live up to the bar they set again.

We loved having Chic Chef cater our wedding! From the beginning with our tasting with Ravi, we were impressed by the quality of the food and the hospitality. On the big day, we also had Chic Chef provide a full bar service for guests, including a signature cocktail! They were very attentive to our guests and to my husband and I. Our guests complimented the food and were impressed with the bartenders. I would highly recommend using Chic Chef to cater your wedding!

Chic Chef was amazing! Through the entire process the were responsive, friendly, and overall great to work with. The day off, they did such a good job with execution, and even made sure my husband and I were never without food and a drink. Highly recommend, incredible service and food! I primarily worked with Lucia during the menu and invoicing process, and Iryna towards the end and day off - both of them were fantastic to work with.

We are beyond blessed to have worked with Chic Chef for our July wedding. From the start Lucy was very detailed and swift when answering all our questions. When it came time to our food tasting Chef Ravi was incredibly attentive and welcoming. The Chef Ravi made sure to answer all our questions and the food was incredible!! When we had our walkthrough the Chic Chef representative asked all the right questions regarding how my husband & I wanted to have the catering team to run the day. The day of the wedding, Chic Chef team was on-time. They were experts when it came to our venue space, we do think that helped the day run smoothly! The food was incredible!! For dinner we served lemon herb chicken & Brazilian churrasco which was DELICIOUS! The team assigned to us was very focused on the details & made sure we were happy with the service. Closer to the end of the night Chef Ravi showed up & truly it was a sweet surprise. We have nothing but good things to say about Chic Chef, truly THANK YOU!

We love Chic Chef! The food was delicious, the staff members were awesome, and everything went so smoothly. Definitely recommend!

We loved having Chic Chef as part of our big day. We took pride in having such a variety of options for apps available to our guests. They were able to accommodate our vegetarian, vegan, & GF guests with ease without sacrificing taste. We got so many compliments on our main dishes of roganjosh and gnocchi. Chic Chef understood our eclectic/varied tastes and perfectly catered to us and our guests. The late night bites were perfectly timed as well, keeping our guests fed and fueled. We even got positive feedback on the authenticity of our late night street tacos. =)

Our wedding was quite literally perfect and Chic Chef had a huge role in this. They catered our food and provided our fully stocked bar. First of all, the food was delicious and they were very accommodating with allergies. Second, the service was outstanding. We had 2 servers assigned to just my husband and I and they exceeded all of our expectations. Immediately after the ceremony I was politely asked if I wanted something to eat or drink, which I definitely needed a cocktail at that point. Within 5 minutes she came back with a cocktail in hand. I had so many compliments from all of my guests that the staff was extremely friendly, fun, and efficient. We loved having chic chef on our big day!!

Our catering and bartending team, despite being the most budget-friendly option on the approved list, exceeded all expectations! The food was an absolute hit among our guests. Many commented that it's rare to find such juicy chicken in a buffet setting, but they couldn't get enough of it. The entire menu was a culinary delight, and not a single guest had anything but praise for the delicious feast. On top of the fantastic food, the bartending service was on point and kept the drinks flowing smoothly throughout the night. You made our wedding meal memorable, and we're grateful for your exceptional service!

We hired Chic Chef to provide American food along side our Indian food options for our mixed Indian/American Wedding. We weren't able to schedule a tasting with Chic Chef since they only do weekdays during work hours. Instead, we sent our parents, who loved almost all the dishes they tried! The short-rib and mashed potatoes were excellent, but the blackened salmon seemed to be hit or miss depending on the table. The food was plated about an hour late at the reception which caused a delay with the Indian food as well since everything was served together family style. Communication was also a bit frustrating and there was often a delay in responses and repeated questions/answers. The food was great we got some great reviews from guests, but unfortunately it was a disappointing experience overall. We only used Chic Chef as a supplement to our main multi-day wedding caterer so this may not be representative of their typical service.

We had the best experience from our first tasting to our wedding day! Chic Chef did a phenomenal job with our appetizers, custom plated dinner, and dessert/sundae bar. Additionally, we used their linens, plates, glasses and flatware which made the whole experience seamless.

I cannot recommend Chic Chef enough! The food and service was fantastic. We got a lot of compliments and they were flexible as we changed aspects of the service/menu up to the last minute and asked for an 8+ hour open bar. Staff was great as well. Responsive, patient, thorough, and committed to their clients.

We hired Ravi and the Chic Chef team to cater our wedding. Our venue required our catering team to bring in everything from tableware to ice and Chic Chef did it all without batting an eye! The appitizers were plentiful, all of the food was amazing and no one left hungry! We srved dinner family style and our guests loved getting to try a bit of everything that was offered. The event caption Jorge truly knocked it out of the park. He made sure my husband and I had full drinks and even made sure we got some water in every now and then! He also made sure my VIP guests were happy and made sure they had full drinks as well! The Chic Chef team was amazing to work with from start to finish. My guests are still talking about how delicious the food was and how great my catering team was. I would hire them again in the future for my catering needs!

Everyone we worked with at Chic Chef did everything in their power to make our wedding as great as possible. From the planning, to the tasting, to the actual meal, Chic Chef did everything very well. Wonderful company and service! Ravi and his team take care of your every need!! They worked with us and allowed us to custom tailor our menu! Helped us with meals for friends who were vegan and gluten-free! They even allowed us to purchase our own alcohol which they served for us. I am going to recommend this company to all of my friends! Guests loved the food too! The best service I have had at a wedding!

I had my event at an outdoor location with no kitchen. Chic chef brought everything with them to fully prepare my wedding meal. They even made sure that the food was nut free for a guest’s allergy. Iryna and team went above and beyond bussing the tables and making sure everything went smoothly.

Now that we’ve had time to unwind after our wedding, I wanted to take the time and mention that we were blown away by the service and food Chic Chef provided. Absolutely everything was amazing and exactly how we envisioned. Their attentiveness is what impressed us most. The staff made sure my husband and I had drinks in our hands at all times and food in our stomachs (which was great because neither of us ate lunch that day)! They are so thoughtful and took extra special care of our parents which was a huge bonus. We appreciate everything they did for us and I can’t thank them enough. If you’re thinking about booking them, do yourself a favor and do it. You won’t be disappointed! P.S. my mom said the roasted chicken dish was the best chicken she’s ever had and she’s picky!

From our tasting event to our wedding day, this team was so great and easy to work with! Ravi does a thorough job with his couples and making sure everything is perfect and meets/exceeds needs and expectations. Our captain for wedding day was Jorge and he was INCREDIBLE as well as his two team leads! I was continuously provided food, water, and wine like a queen all evening! The servers were incredibly attentive and friendly and did an impeccable job. Everything was timely, the food was delicious and we got a lot of compliments from our guests on the food and service. We could not have had a better experience and I am so happy we went with Chic Chef for our big day! Stress free and beyond amazing service!

Not only do they have the most diverse selection of dishes we encountered during our selection process, but the staff is warm, professional, and willing to work with the budget you set. Chic Chef is a great wedding caterer with a versatile menu. We were able to choose items that truly met our tastes, and the team was flexible with our final number changing due to Covid the week of the wedding. They did a great job meeting the many nutritional needs even while doing a family style dinner. A few things that did not meet our expectations was that multiple tables waited on food for quite a bit to the point that a family member had to check in with the kitchen, specifically because the tables waiting had more of our older guests. In addition, we were told that appetizers would be set aside for us during cocktail hour and some were, but other bridal party members ate them and they were never replenished so my husband, and I did not get some of them. Overall, Chic Chef did a lovely job and worked with us well and answered questions we had throughout the process. They also were flexible on our guest minimum, because we booked them so far in advance and we ended up having a much smaller guest list than originally expected.

Amazing food! We received so many compliments on the food at our wedding. From the appetizers to late night snacks, Ravi was amazing to work with an delivered an amazing experience for our guests!

Chic Chef was absolutely amazing for our NYE wedding. My husband and I had a vision when it came to our wedding food. We didn't want the traditional sit down plated meal, but instead wanted a more relaxed vibe with carving stations and lots of appetizers being passed around. Ravi helped us make this dream become a reality, and everything was PERFECT. I can't keep track of how many people complimented me on the food. Aside from the deliciousness, the service was outstanding. The head table was constantly being checked on, and there was always an appetizer tray going by. The staff even joined in our midnight countdown and dancing!!! Only reason this is getting 4/5 stars is because communication leading up to the event was somewhat difficult. I would sometimes have to email multiple times in order to get a response, and they didn't show up to our venue walk through that we scheduled specifically for them. However, Ravi made up for this by throwing in a few "extras" and doing a fantastic job on the day of. Highly recommend Chic Chef!!!

They really made sure that everything was perfect on our wedding day. They are also very affordable and throw in a lot of really nice extras! All of our guests were raving about the food. Chic Chef provided us an absolutely wonderful wedding experience. All of our guests were completely gushing, not only about how delicious everything was, but also about how polite, helpful, and friendly all of the staff members were. As the bride and groom, we were of course very busy and distracted throughout the night, and the Chic Chef team was so thoughtful, kind, and helpful - finding us throughout the night to see if we'd like a drink, asking if we'd want a plate (or more) of our appetizers sent to the bridal suite so we didn't miss out while taking pictures, the list goes on. It couldn't have gone any smoother, and we highly HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality, reasonably priced caterer with absolutely DELICIOUS food and wonderful team members. I went with chic chef for my wedding and I’m so happy I did! The food was AMAZING, it tasted exactly the same from when I did my tasting. Based on other catering quotes I got back during my planning process Chic Chef was by far the most reasonable in price & what they offer. The day of my wedding Chic chef followed my timeline perfectly down to the minute when it came to dinner, late night snack, and dessert! The wait staff we had also made my husband and I feel like royalty- our waitress made sure many times that we were good or needed anything and also made sure we always had a fresh drink. They even set up all of mini desserts and cake that I got from another vendor( a lot of other caterers don’t do this because it’s not their product). Weeks before my wedding chic chef had me fill out a form with all the info for the event and then still had someone call me to review it and make sure nothing was missing! That really helps a bride feel at ease. Only feedback I have for chic chef would be around the communication. I would have to email them 2-3 times with questions to finally get a response. But once they responded they were amazing and always answered my questions and put my mind at ease. So just know in the end they do an amazing job with your event. But that’s my only feedback for them.

We had a great experience with Chic Chef Catering! With Chic Chef you get it all; easy and timely communications, excellent and thoughtful service, and delicious, high-quality food, at a super reasonable price point! Chic Chef also did a lovely job with the setup, and ran everything seamlessly from cocktail hour through dessert. It was all beautifully done! We really appreciated their flexibility in allowing us to provide alcohol and dessert ourselves, even when we didn't have our dessert plan totally nailed down until relatively close to the wedding. They were always friendly and accommodating. I thought we might want to do some extra menu customizations, but when we tasted some of their standard offerings they were so delicious that we felt no need for further options! And our guests loved the food just as much as we did!

Chic Chef was incredible to work with and had such a big part of making sure our day went smoothly, and the food was incredible! On top of that, the pricing is incredibly reasonable. They truly check off every box. We got so many compliments about the food from guests, which isn't always super common with other weddings I've been to! They offer such a wide selection of types of foods and we had a hard time picking our menu because there were so many great choices! We also utilized them for bar service, and the bartenders were great. Their team was so helpful in helping to set up and take down so much of our decor which I was SO very appreciative of! All of their staff members the day of our wedding were so helpful and professional, and really made sure that we were taken care of and happy. Additionally, working with them in the months leading up to the wedding was great and they made it so easy to customize things to the way we wanted! Would absolutely recommend Chic Chef to anyone planning a wedding in the Chicagoland area!

We used Chic Chef for our September 2022 wedding and could not be happier! From the initial tasting to the wedding day, they were so professional and friendly and communicated clearly with us the through the entire process. The food was OUTSTANDING, and we got so many compliments on our wedding day and afterwards. They worked with us to customize our bar menu to incorporate our custom drinks, which were a huge hit. Chic Chef Catering is incredible! I used them for my wedding and they were incredible to work with. They were easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. As soon as we had the tasting, we booked with Chic Chef immediately and didn’t even try any other caterers it was that good. They met with my venue to do a final walk through a few weeks before the wedding. Day of, everything was executed flawlessly. The food was SO good. From the passed appetizers, salad, bread options, and entrees- everything was amazing. We got so many compliments from our guests raving that it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. I really loved that they offered linens as well- made it super easy for me. Thank you SO much for providing the wedding food of our dreams!

Ravi and team were great! They helped us to pick a fabulous menu, accommodated our many questions and edits, and rolled with the punches to help make our day perfect. The food was yummy but the real stars were the service staff who went above and beyond for our guests. We received so many compliments about how accommodating the catering team was. Ravi even personally delivered us drinks throughout the night. Not to mention the value! Huge thank you to the Chic Chef team for helping to make our wedding a dream come true.

Cannot say enough nice words about Chic Chef! They had my 200 guests served in 8 minutes. The food was delicious and everyone raved about it! They were very pleasant bartenders and servers! 10/10 recommend them to anyone!

The service was fantastic from the day we contacted them through the wedding day, we truly could not have asked for anything more! Irina was so easy to work with and Stella was the most amazing captain! We had multiple guest mention how polite everyone was. My husband takes ages to eat and I requested they not clear his plate until late night snack arrived and was so happy to see it still there later so he could actually finish his dinner for once 😂 The food was all delicious and the buffet ran smoothly and quickly.
