Rebecca made my daughter’s wedding day amazing. From her punctuality to creative styling of 7 ladies in 3hoirs. The bride’s hair was exactly as she envisioned it…stunning. Each lady had a photo of what they wanted and after a brief consultation she executed the styles flawlessly! Thank you to Rebecca for making my “little girls” day that much more amazing!

My sister used Chic Concepts for her wedding and I loved them so much at her wedding that I booked them for my wedding. I just had my wedding and used Chic Concepts for my hair and makeup and they are so wonderful. They have such a cute salon for the morning of and let you bring in your own food and drinks and enjoy the morning with your bridal party! Everyone in my bridal party was so happy with their hair and makeup and the price is not bad at all compared to other places. Most importantly, I got married in the rain and my hair and makeup did not move in the slightest. Rebecca and Genevieve, you're amazing!

I could not have imagined a better glam team with me on my wedding day! Rebecca and Genavie brought my vision to life - a perfect blend between my preference for a more "natural" look and wanting to elevate my look for my special day! I had a large bridal party and the CC team was able to tackle all of us with time to spare (but not a single detail missed!) in the schedule for the day! I've been coming to Chic Concepts for years now, so it was a no brainer to hire the team for my wedding day! Chic Concepts did an amazing job on my bridal hair & makeup as well as my bridal party! They were so nice and accommodating. Hoosier Grove Barn recommended them, and I am so glad I went with them. The salon itself is really cute, they closed it out except for me and bridal party the morning of my wedding. I showed them a few pictures of what I was looking at for looks, and they were able to make me look even better than I imagined. They were super efficient and my entire bridal party was impressed with how well they did and how quick they did it! I ended up using them for my rehearsal dinner as well (just hair curled and makeup). I highly recommend them if you are getting married anywhere near Roselle. They are awesome :)

One of the best decisions I made hiring Chic Concepts for my wedding parties hair and make-up. Since we had a larger group, they let us take over the full salon and bring in mimosas/snacks and have such a special morning getting ready for the big event. Rebecca did an outstanding time on my up-do, incorporating my clip and veil perfectly, and Genavi did such a beautiful job on my make-up and lashes. I felt absolutely beautiful and the look lasted all the way throughout the entire event (even until after the 2am afterparty!). Highly recommend!

When I went in for my hair and makeup trial, both Rebecca and Genavie were very open to listening to what I had in mind for my wedding day, and happily worked with me to create the perfect look. Come the wedding day, I had a couple small tweaks to change from the trial, there was absolutely no hesitation at all! Both Rebecca and Genavie created my dream hair and makeup styles for my big day. I couldn't have been happier with how both my hair and makeup turned out! Rebecca is amazing. I did an in-salon hair trial. Then, on my wedding day she came to my hotel and did my hair plus 6 others! Everyone looked beautiful. It was such a fun, laid back environment and I really appreciated that on such a potentially stressful day.

Rebecca did my hair for my wedding and I am so glad she did! She was really kind at my trial appointment, helping me figure out what I wanted, making me feel at ease, etc. I'm not one to get my hair done professionally so that went a long way toward making me feel excited instead of nervous in the weeks leading up to the big day. I can not stress this enough. Chic Concepts went above and beyond with helping me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day. Rebecca took her time with making sure my hair was done perfectly. As well as asking multiple questions on how to style my hair and giving me a vision of what she had for me. Now the makeup artist Genavie did a phenomenal job. As I have super oily skin she made sure to use the right products for my skin. She also made sure to add just the right colors for the wedding. My hair and makeup stayed in place all day and night! I have been working with the girls at Chic Concepts Salon for the past 3 years to get ready for my wedding, coloring and cutting my hair and placing extensions, through pandemic issues and 3 reschedules, and their care and consideration is totally unmatched! The day of, they became just as important for me to have as part of getting ready as anyone else there. Every single one of my bridal party looked and felt fantastic, and I know I felt so beautiful and confident on my wedding, and bridal party told me they could see why I liked them so much! I know that I will keep going to their salon long after the wedding hype dies down, but I only hope for more events I can go to for an excuse to look as beautiful as they made me feel!

The traveling hair and makeup that I was going to use fell through. Being a Saturday summer wedding and only a few months away from our wedding date, the salons I called were already booked. I reached out to Chic Concepts Salon and they were booked on all Saturdays except our wedding date!! The best doesn’t even begin to describe chic concepts!! They far exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Both Genavie and Rebecca were so fun to work with and understood my vision perfectly. This review will not even be able to describe HALF of how I feel about Chic Concepts!!! They are AMAZING! If anyone knows me, I am extremely picky and particular about my hair, and I looked through probably hundreds of hair stylists for my wedding until I found this amazing salon. Before booking them, I ended up doing a trial with Rebecca, the owner of the salon who does the bridal up-dos, and she really blew me away. I showed her a picture and within 45 minutes my hair was a splitting image of the model I showed her. She has such a unique and professional technique in doing bridal hair and you can just tell she is extremely experienced and comfortable in what she does. I had to book her. Fast forward to my wedding day, Rebecca came to my house in the city for no extra charge. She did 10 up-dos for my bridesmaids and the two moms in less than 6 hours and everyone's hair was flawless. I was in LOVE with my bridal up-do and she didn't stop until I was 100% satisfied. She took her time on my hair and really made sure it was what I wanted. All of the other ladies were also very impressed and she did touch ups as needed as well! The weather that day was extremely hot and humid, 95 degrees, and no one's hair fell, or got frizzy at all. Even through 1 hour of outdoor pictures my hair did not move, it was amazing. After the wedding, I got SO many compliments on my hair! Everyone loved it! I would recommend Chic Concepts to every bride who wants excellent service, hair that you will love, and a warm and inviting new salon family.

Updating my review to add that they made my rescheduled wedding reception day FANTASTIC! We started our morning at their salon and enjoyed being pampered while ordering food from the breakfast place right next door. I have been a regular customer with Chic Concepts since I was about 12 years old, so there was no question on where I was going to get my hair & makeup done for my wedding day! I don't normally wear a lot of makeup and Genevie did FANTASTIC on matching the "look" I described/showed photos of a more natural look. She also did an amazing job on my bridal party and the moms! Rebecca and her team are amazing hair stylists, as always. Beth has been my hair stylist for years and she did exactly what I wanted/had in mind for wedding hair!! I cannot say enough great things about Chic Concepts! They are your one-stop-shop the morning of your wedding. Chic Concepts Salon is the way to go! If you're like me, you always want to look your best at every formal event...let alone, your WEDDING. Every single wedding I have stood up in, in the past, I have HATED my hair. Until Rebecca, at Chic Concepts Salon. My cousin's bride had Rebecca do her hair/bridesmaids hair for their wedding, and that's where I "cliqued" with her right away. She gave me beautiful curls with braids and some volume. I literally told her I was going to keep her information for when I got married...and little did I know...it would be almost exactly a year later when I contacted her for her amazing assistance! Rebecca is so real, kind, genuine, and perceptive to what you want. She works with you and your hair until you are happy. She does what she thinks will look good, while taking your wants/opinions into constant consideration. However, know that she can get hair done quickly and just as beautifully! If you're worried about time, know she manages time very well. For my wedding day trial, I went into the salon, to be greeted with the same personality from when I had originally met her a year before! Her staff was just as friendly and kind, and I felt right at home at the salon. She looked at the pictures I showed her, talked with me, and figured out what I actually wanted. On my wedding day, she came over to do my hair, as well as the bridesmaids', and each and every girl LOVED their hair. As for me...of course I did too! I wanted loose curls, but not "Shirley temple curls" that so many end up doing... Rebecca KNOWS how to curl your hair so it stays in place but doesn't make you look like a curly mess. TRUST HER with how much she curls it so it falls perfectly by the time makeup is done and pictures are taken. She is a QUEEN doing her work. My hair stayed in place and looked perfect in pictures. My girls were happy. I couldn't be happier. She is one of my favorite memories getting ready for my wedding. I promise she, and your hair, will be yours, too!

Rebecca is AMAZING!! I absolutely loved my hair on my wedding day and felt so beautiful! I have been in quite a few weddings with the girls I had as bridesmaids and all of them commented on how much they loved their hair and some even said they liked it better than their own wedding day hair! It was a rainy day in June and everyone’s hair held up perfectly the whole night! Rebecca came on site and was on time, extremely professional and just all around such a nice person! A+++! I was always scared picking a salon for my makeup and hair. I saw chic concepts online and loved some of their pictures. I called them and right away someone answered and took my wedding info down. They said they would call me back soon. They called about 5 min later and Rebecca was on the phone. From the first time I talked to her to the wedding day, it was a great experience. She was so genuinely sweet and helped me through everything. She made booking my trials and actual day appointments so easy, exciting and fun. My wedding was a Sunday and their closed but they opened the salon for us. She let us bring breakfast and it was just me and my bridesmaids. Rebecca did our hair and Genavie did our makeup. From the trial to the final day they were supportive, honest, took their time and truly wanted my honest opinion on everything. I felt so comfortable and the best part...I have never felt as beautiful as I did that day! Thanks to Rebecca and Genavie I felt like the the most beautiful bride. Not to mention, my bridesmaids looked amazing too! They were stunning! As soon as I got engaged I knew that I wanted Chic Concepts to be a part of my wedding day. All of the stylists there are incredible but I was lucky enough to get Rebecca for my wedding day and she made me feel like an absolute princess. Every woman in my wedding party raved at how much they loved their hair and we really felt like the most beautiful versions of ourselves thanks to Chic Concepts. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone. Not only for your wedding day but anytime you need your hair done!

Rebecca and team are fantastic!!! She did my hair for my wedding and was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process! She made sure I was 100% happy with my final look and steered me in the right direction if I was ever unsure. The morning of, Rebecca was very accommodating and made it so fun/comfortable for my bridal party to all get ready in the salon. The stylists work quickly (which is invaluable for a bridal party on a schedule!) but confidently and everyone looked great! Even with a fluke late-April SNOW storm and outdoor photos, my beautiful up-do stayed perfectly intact through the night -- and I danced, a LOT! I got so many compliments. I trust Rebecca fully and could not recommend her highly enough. Rain, shine or snow - she can do it all!

Rebecca is amazing! My daughter recently got married in Richmond, IL. Everyone was getting their hair and makeup done out there. There was no way anyone except Rebecca was going to do my hair and makeup-especially on my daughters wedding day! As usual, it was perfect. I got so many compliments-I felt so beautiful! Hands down, if you need wedding hair & makeup done, Rebecca and team at Chic Concepts is where you need to go. They will not disappoint!

I had an idea of what I wanted for my wedding, but what I got was even better. Rebecca did an amazing job of listening to what I was looking for and giving me a hairstyle for my wedding that I will always remember. She did such an amazing job with all my bridesmaids giving them each something different, yet cohesive. It let each girl feel amazing too. She gave my Mom and my Mother in Law both amazing looks that made them both look radiant. She did this all under a time crunch for our early cultural ceremony. Also, I brought in the most awkwardly colored extensions and Rebecca pulled some magic and made them blend seamlessly in! If I could give her more then 5 stars I would!

I have followed Chic Concepts on FB for years and I get to see all of their day to day haircut and color creations. But what I always loved and admired the most was their “wedding” hair styles and beautiful and classy make up!! I have many friends in the business and all of them will admit that not everyone can do “wedding” hair styles. It’s an art in and of itself. So when I got engaged in September 2018, I knew that I NEEDED and WANTED the talented and amazing REBECCA to make me look beautiful on my wedding day. She then recommended her talented and amazing counterpart GENAVIE to do my makeup. My ceremony and reception were in downtown Chicago January 6, 2019. Without hesitation they brought their magic to ME! On a SUNDAY in the CITY...... all the way from the Western Suburbs. They were prompt, professional and so accommodating!! What more could a bride want on her wedding day?? They timed everything perfectly to make sure all of us were done on time!! After the ceremony my husband and I walked with our photographer from our venue to a bridge nearby to get pictures of us with Chicago in the background.....yes we WALKED lol (we were lucky it was in the 40’s that weekend and dry). Point being, my hair stayed perfectly and not one strand was out of place and my makeup was flawless when we got back to the venue. All I needed to do was touch up my lip gloss after all the smooching we did .....that’s a good problem to have🥰 I can’t say enough about these ladies......I can’t thank them enough ❤️

I would give Rebecca and Genavie more than 5 stars if I could! Everyone in the salon is welcoming along with being dedicated, sincere and the most knowledgeable professionals I have ever met! Rebecca did my hair for my wedding and Genavie did my makeup. I had never had so many amazing compliments and they made me feel glamorous! Thank you for making my day and photos outstanding!

Every member of this team was a true delight to work with. Rebecca's vision for my hair exceeded any expectation or idea I could have possibly had. Genevieve's makeup looked FLAWLESS on each and everyone one of us - and lasted the entire day! Maria's styles for my bridesmaids were everything they wanted and more. I could not think of a better way to start (and enjoy) my wedding day, than with Chic Concepts Salon.
