As wedding planning novices, we knew we needed help with planning our wedding. Especially after we decided to get married at a venue (the beautiful La Chureya) that required all decor, furniture and vendors to be sourced by outside vendors. We interviewed multiple wedding coordinators and Michelle stuck out to us with her warmth and humor. Talking to her put us at ease, and she also came with much experience of planning weddings at our venue. We hit the ground running with Michelle and after several Palm Springs visits were in great shape within the 6 months leading up to the wedding. Michelle was awesome at connecting us with different vendors and setting up site visits to see things in person, even while navigating the ever-changing Covid pandemic. As our wedding got closer, and wedding season in Palm Springs ramped up, Michelle got (understandably!) very busy so we found it best to reach out via quick calls or texts during the week rather than email. She gave us her undivided attention in the last several weeks leading up to the main event. Not enough could be said about how incredible Michelle was on the actual wedding weekend. She did SO much work helping set things up, helping coordinate vendor drop offs, helping direct the rehearsal, and was calm and collected throughout. On the actual wedding day, she was with us almost 12 hours, and made it the most perfect experience we could have ever dreamed of. She put out fires we never knew were happening, and she even had a little baggy of apples when we started getting nervous (and hungry) right before the ceremony began. She ran a tight ship and we appreciated it, because it was not an easy venue to pull off what we were able to do. By the end of the night, we got emotional, knowing it was going to be the end of our recurring communications and correspondence with Michelle, but look forward to keeping in touch and seeing each other in the future!

We loved having Wendy Dahl from Chic Productions in our corner on our big day. It was such a relief having full confidence in that Wendy will handle it - this allowed us to enjoy the day to its fullest with zero stress. I'm a type A planner and the best decision I made was to just put the final touches on where things go and how certain elements are arranged in the capable hands of Wendy. I have to say that everything was exactly where it needed to be and the flow of the reception was flawless. Her magical timeline was spot on and our guiding light through the day and the venue and their staff executed everything exceptionally well, likely since she did a great job communicating and directing them as needed. I can't even imagine what an effort it took to get it all buttoned down perfectly and the beauty of it all is that I didn't have to. Thank you Wendy - you are clearly the best at what you do, I am so thankful you were available to orchestrate our wedding day!

Chic Productions Wedding Planning was included in the hotel package and Wendy was an expert when it comes to Indian weddings. I never worried that she didn't have it covered. She is very organized and kept everyone on track. We were running behind schedule but Wendy continually made adjustments and coordinated all the vendors. She made this bride worry-free so I could enjoy the entire day!

I am using my wife's knot log in to write this, felt the need to write what an incredible job Chic Productions did. First of all, Wendy Dahl rules! I can't say enough good things about Wendy and the job she and her staff did for our big day, but I will try. Indian weddings are a huge production, there are so many details to oversee and we were lucky we had Wendy in our corner. What I really admired why how communicative Wendy was with everything, no question was too small, and I am sure she could have rolled her eyes at the dumb questions I had, but she made us both feel comfortable. Another thing she was able to accomplish was getting us to not focus so much the stressful parts and just get excited for the big day, that was huge for my wife and I. Wendy always has such great energy and a smile on her face, and that went a long way every time. Her experience showed and that was so helpful, she almost knew every question we had before we asked, we loved that. We met with Wendy a few times before the wedding, whether it was to go over timeline, coordinate with vendors, and just things we should be ready for. She was also great in meeting with our catering manager at the venue to go over everything, so everyone was on the same page. Whenever we emailed, she emailed right back, I wish some of our vendors had that ability, well only one vendor :) The wedding was incredible, she and her staff handled so much that day, I still have a hard time wrapping my head around it. She just let us focus on everything happening and being in the moment, which was incredible. If you are looking for a wedding planner, do your research, we did ours extensively, and we were beyond happy with the job that Chic Productions did. We will never forget our big day, and Wendy was a huge part in that. Thank you so much Wendy!
