From the staff, to the food, to the ambiance, I wouldn't change a thing! KUDOS to Laura and her team, especially Jeffery. I have NEVER been to a wedding where people asked for do...ggie bags, close to half of our guests walked out with a food box.
The planning was so easy with a staff that seemed as excited for my event as I was. The Firehouse collected empty wine bottles that I used to decorate the large upstairs window sills. On the day of my wedding, the staff opened the doors early for us to decorate the room and brought us coffee and water and helped us with everything. They even turned on all the LED lights for us in the table and window decorations so the room was glowing when we arrived. We had a very vintage feel to our wedding and the Chicago Fireplace was the perfect venue for it.
The staff helped me create a special menu that included a chicken option that they did not even have on the menu-- and it was delicious! Everyone raved about the food,and like I said, many took some home. For the food quality and the service --- there was always someone ready to assist, easy access location in the city, we were pleasantly surprised at the final bill. I asked my husband if we could have an anniversary party here every year ; )
