We booked Marcus last year for our July 18, 2020 wedding but pandemic hit and we needed to postponed up to this year of August 21, 2021. He was very understanding of the situation but very sad for what had happened to his industry too. Pandemic crippled all the industries especially the entertainment industry, but despite of that MARCUS still managed to GAVE us THE BEST PARTY EVER last Saturday!!! I received a Lot of compliments about our DJ! How nice he was, how organized he was, and how he was present and has presence of mind during an emotional like this. Marcus is great and He's really the Master DJ! He knows when to set up the mood and able to get everyone in the dance floor and have fun! He's a genuinely good person. He helped us to find some decorations for our reception (because the decorator Ive found online that we hired and we paid wasn't replyng anymore!) and he found us a very talented ice sculptor. I wished I coordinated everything with Marcus so I didn't had to worry about other things anymore about the wedding . We Trust him 100%. If you're looking for a DJ that would give you the party that you want, you want to get this man. He's very easy to talk to, replies right away and he (always) answered my calls regardless of the time we've called him, he has the system that was easy to navigate to organize all the songs you wanted to play on your event, his sound systems was good. If you have questions about Wedding or Event stuff, ask Marcus and He's able to help you and give you some good people to do the designated jobs. He has good connection because this guy has been in this industry for 18 years, doing his dream job and will show up eventhough it's his birthday.

I booked Marcus for my daughter's wedding which keep in mind we were friends.. he was very good about rescheduling due to covid but after we paid Marcus in full we had to cancel the wedding due to covid.. I spoke with Marcus via text and phone Marcus agreed to return my 600 within 30 days and then he said he would give me back the 500 dep if he found another booking.. when the 30 days past I reached out to Marcus thru text he didn't reply and I found out I was blocked on fb.. I'm not the only one he has done this too I have screen shots from others with similar stories.. mind you he was my friend imagine what he would do to you if you aren't his friend and you are just meeting him.. I'm so upset seeing he knew I was a single mom and I paid for this myself .. please be careful find someone else to use.

I worked with Marcus from Chicago Mobile DJs and I am very happy with my experience. He was so organized, touch-based frequently, and my guests LOVED him! He is so friendly, interactive, and flexible. He even helped organize my brother performing a live song at our reception. Highly recommend!!!

I loved working with Marcus. Tyler and i felt so lucky to have come across such an amazing DJ. He is experienced, professional, dedicated, and passionate about his work. From the get go his priority was helping Tyler and I have a relaxing and fun experience. He had no problem taking control of the day of activities and coordinating everything. He met with us a few days before and was in constant contact with me for any questions or concerns. He even took the time to think of perfect song choices for everything from our intros to pizza cutting at the end of the night. His energy and enthusiasm was infectious. All in all he made our day perfect. If you are looking for a dj that seemlessly transitions songs, has an awesome personality, is extremely knowledgeable, and at the end of the day helps you have the day of your dreams, then Marcus is your guy. Marcus did an absolutely amazing job! I got nothing but positive feedback from all my guests. He had the dance floor always packed and ended the night in the best way possible, with everyone surrounding us on the dance floor it was overwhelming to feel all the love! Marcus was the DJ for our wedding and he was terrific! He walked us through the planning, we selected our music from a huge catalog of songs and Marcus did the rest. The DJ REALLY DOES MAKE THE PARTY! If you are looking for a great DJ, Marcus is your guy.

Marcus was incredible!!! The DJ was one of the most challenging vendors to choose for our wedding, knowing we had very diverse music preferences in our group and knowing the DJ is the heartbeat of the party. We were referred to Marcus from a coworker who used him at their wedding and they said the dance floor was packed all night. The same was true for our wedding. Marcus allows you to create a play and do not play list, which we had some suggestions in both those categories. After meeting with Marcus, my bride and I saw how much he really cares about our night being a huge success, and gained full trust in him. Our philosophy was to let Marcus feel the room and play what got the crowd going, and he did not disappoint. We had everybody out there dancing, from our elderly Aunts and Uncles to college students. He did so much more than just play music… he filled the room with energy and set the tone of the entire evening, he was our time keeper, and he also played attorney as he advised us to ask the venue to extend our time (and open bar) due to their delay in getting the food out, which they did! I cannot say enough good things about Marcus. If you want one less thing to worry about on your wedding day, I strongly recommend Marcus, because I can guarantee that the DJ will not be one of them!

Marcus is a dream to work with. He is very reasonably priced. He has great ideas for music aswell. I became stumped on a few songs for the wedding like the cake cutting, garter toss, and what not. He was excellent! Very energetic. He also took some great photos from the wedding. He was my unofficial photographer in which we got the photos with in a few days of the wedding. Highly recommended marcus and Chicago mobile DJs. He gas the best equipment aswell!!!!

So our wedding was unexpectedly stressful (more than I realized), the decisions and $$ thrown down was more than we knew when my husband proposed. On behalf of myself and hub... Marcus Windsor .. you were our lucky star. Day of: you calmed me, brought us snacks during outdoor pics, served us our dinner drinks to our table (when our venue didn't), bustled my dress (whoa)!!, and we got SO many compliments on our DJ. You also kept me in check when the hoopla and chaos was going on. You were literally my day-of wedding coordinator. OH, and you captured so many camera shots that my photog didn't. Marcus, you KNOW weddings and u care and you're beyond pro. #chicagomobiledjs!

We cannot say enough great things about Marcus. From the first day we met him we knew he was going to have a huge role in our day! We loved his energetic vibe and his passion for what he did- it was evident in every interaction with him. We loved that we could customize our playlist and truly make the day special for us. I have never seen so many of my closest friends and family together on one dance floor, and the dancing went on all night. People who never dance were even dancing and everybody told us they had the best time. We all loved his candid dance floor pictures too- there are some priceless ones in there that the photographer or videographer did not even catch! My maid of honor, whom i have danced and partied with before PLENTY of times even told me she could not remember a night where she had danced that much. Marcus was a true pleasure to work with and made our day one to remember! Thank you for all your hard work and attention to detail for our big day! We hope we can find an excuse to have to hire a DJ again soon!

Chicago Mobile DJ'S was amazing! Marcus couldn't have been more wonderful, helpful, and caring about making my wedding perfect. He was very professional and fun. There was no lack of communication in preparing for the wedding, and I didn't have to worry about a thing the whole night as he kept the reception running smoothly! This was invaluable! My husband and I are extremely happy with service!

Marcus was fantastic, and probably my favorite vendor. He was so much fun to work with and never stressed me out! Everything went so smoothly. He had great communication leading up to the wedding and had a great online platform for us to request songs. The only reason for a 4 out of 5 is we didn't seem to hear many of the songs we put on our 'must play lists'. But maybe I wasn't paying enough attention. Thanks again Marcus, wonderful time!

Marcus was probably the favorite thing at my wedding. What a great guy. Super personable, and efficient and professional. I still get compliments about how great he is. Played great music and had every one of my guests out of their chairs dances. He really cares about what you want and making your day perfect. He had perfect music for every age and made everyone happy. I want to get married all over again just to have Marcus D.J., My aunt is getting married soon and she is using him as well. Marcus was truly amazing DJing and officiating our October, 2015 wedding. During the planning, Marcus was extremely helpful, cooperative and understanding about our vision of the day. During our celebration, he was great at "reading the crowd" and directing the flow. Laid back but responsible and competent. Great, great hire!!

Marcus was the DJ for our wedding on September 4th. I lost count of the number of people who came up to us during the reception to tell us how much they like the music. Marcus had a great ability to "read the crowd" and when he saw that the average age of the guests was between 35-40, he played music that not only got everyone up and dancing, but had them singing out loud at their tables during dinner! Before the wedding Marcus went above and beyond to find an instrumental version of a song my soloist was going to sing. He finally found it at Amazon UK, but unfortunately, it didn't arrive in time to use in the ceremony...but it wasn't for lack of trying. Thanks Marcus for the effort. The bottom line is that due to Marcus and his great music selections, our wedding was the party of the decade...at least for our family and friends. Thanks Marcus...Lynn & Peter

We got married in May 2015 and hired Marcus to DJ the event. My wife and I had the chance to see Chicago Mobile DJ's twice before and we liked what we saw. Unfortunately, Macus doesn't know how to handle any unforeseen issues that might come up and makes you feel like you a difficult person to deal with even though it was our wedding!! Marcus had a "family emergency" so he could not DJ our wedding, which thank God for Eagle Ridge Resort and Megan who handled the mix up for Marcus. This cost us extra money that chicago Mobile DJ NEVER reimbursed! my surprise Chicago Mobile DJ missed our ceremony, which they were paid to do, and at no time was I informed this by Marcus. I had to call him two days after our wedding to find out what happened. Again no reimbursement from Marcus!!. Chicago Mobile DJ did have a replacement DJ there for our reception and he did the best he could under the circumstances. My wife and I were not happy with Marcus as he didn't catch up his replacement to speed on our requests, as all the other reviews stated that they did. Ive been trying to deal with this situation with Marcus since May 25th 2015 and last spoke to him August 7 2015 and left the ball in his court for some sort of resolution to the problem. HE HAS NOT RESPONDED AS OF YET ITS AUGUST 18TH. Marcus is a good DJ and has a good product , but definitely doesn't practice good business skills. If nothing comes up your good to go with Marcus BUT beware if something does dont expect much from Marcus and Chicago Mobile DJ's.

Marcus was the DJ at our wedding on 6/27/15. Marcus was always professional and accommodating. He checked on us throughout the evening and even brought us hors d’oeurvres to make sure we got to enjoy some during our cocktail hour. He did an amazing job making sure everything ran on schedule and got everyone dancing and having a great time. Marcus also posted tons of great pictures after the event. We couldn’t be happier with the level of service provided by Chicago Mobile DJs!

Marcus was absolutely incredible! Not only did he play an assortment of music to our liking and taste, he had dance lights that helped to light up the dance floor, he was helpful before and throughout the wedding, and he caught all the pictures the photographer missed. We only had one photographer, so Marcus took it upon himself to take over 700 pictures (all of which he had posted to FB the next morning) including the super special moment of me getting ready to walk down the aisle with my dad. Marcus was always available to talk beforehand if I needed too and insisted we talked everything through about a week prior. He is informed whenever you login to his website, and he will reach out just in case you have any questions. He was also great at stepping into action and giving direction when needed. He really likes to be involved in your special day, and gets just about as excited as you are. Marcus was definitely the right choice for us!

Marcus is the best! Didn't really provide him with a lot of input on the music we wanted and he was able to go with it and keep people on the dance floor the entire night!Very outgoing, personable, and always quick with responding to calls or emails. Highly recommend!

Marcus was AWESOME! We had nothing but compliments on how great the music was the whole night! I don't remember when the dance floor wasn't packed, other than our first dance. He really read the crowd and kept everyone happy! The slideshow was perfect and we got to take a picture behind his equipment, which turned out to be one of my favorites of the night!

My husband and I had a GREAT experience with this vendor. From the very beginning he was available to assist in helping us plan a timeline for the evening, providing a very easy/accessable website with song suggestions for first dances... intro songs... etc, and making himself available for any other questions we came up with. He then completely delivered the night of our wedding. The dance floor was PACKED!!! We made some song suggestions and he just took it away from there. I was honestly SO impressed. And he did a wonderful job hosting and keeping us on time for when the toasts would need to be, the bouquet toss, garder removal, etc... he was a lot of the reason why I didn't even need a wedding planner. I WOULD GIVE MORE STARS IF I COULD!!

DJ was very enthusiastic and accommodating prior to event. Website was easy to use and helpful in setting up songs. I understand it is difficult to create a timeline, but things were a bit flexible for my liking. I'm not the type of person to put my trust solely in a vendor I have never met, even if they are enthusiastic about handling everything "itinerary" related. I do like a schedule, and he prefers flexibility, which makes sense somewhat for his role, but was a little difficult for a bride like me who wants everything finalized down to the details. As far as music, it was difficult for him to get the crowd going immediately. Not sure why since my friends/family love to dance, but I wasn't hearing too much MC-ing, but who knows since I was having a lot of fun doing my own thing with guests on the dance floor. I did get some mixed responses for when myself and my bridal party asked him to change up the music or encourage people to get on the dance floor, which he and both agreed was his responsibility prior to the event. I know it may not be easy, but it does fit the job description, and he did it to the best of his ability. He did also help us with the slideshow setup, which was nice. He was a good price, so if you're looking for a standard DJ to play your hits, and keep things moving and you enjoy flexibility, then go with him. As far as my reco, I would recommend him based on price and ease of service prior to the wedding.
