We recently had the pleasure of working with Chicago Street Strings for our wedding, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Hannah Watson, the main music coordinator and planner, exhibited excellent communication and professionalism throughout the entire process. She made everything seamless and worry-free, ensuring that every detail was perfectly managed. On the day of our wedding, we had the delight of working with Meena Cho, an incredibly talented cellist. Meena’s performance was absolutely mesmerizing and added an elegant, enchanting touch to our ceremony. Her talent with the cello is truly exceptional, and she played with such grace and emotion that it made our special day even more memorable. Overall, our experience with Chicago Street Strings was outstanding, and we would wholeheartedly recommend them to any friends getting married in the future. We hired Chicago Street Strings to play during the pre-ceremony and ceremony for our October wedding and absolutely loved working with them. Hannah is super professional and a sweetheart, our communication was great. I so appreciate how willing they were to accommodate our song requests — a few of them were tricky to find! I vetted many local strings groups and in my opinion, they offer the best talent and song options for the best value. As the bride, I wasn’t able to hear the entire ceremony so I’m super excited to hear the full performance once we receive our videos. So grateful they were there — thanks again, Hannah and company!

I was so SO happy with Chicago Street Strings. We hired them to perform the pre-ceremony, ceremony, and the cocktail hour. In the planning phase, they provided a really comprehensive list of all the songs that they play, which is HUGE and amazing. The list includes links to them performing the song (not for all songs, but a large majority), so you can hear what it will song like. I was really impressed with all of the options available, from traditional to movie soundtracks to pop songs. They also learned one song for me as I had a certain song that I wanted to plays as I walked down to the aisle. On the day of, they arrived promptly and looked professional. The music was perfect - they played everything beautifully, and everyone was really impressed with their talent. It was so fun to have them play, and I was beyond happy with how well they played. If you are looking for a live music option, definitely use Chicago Street Strings, you will get an incredible group of musicians to play on your wedding day.

This group is amazing and I couldn't have asked for anyone better to celebrate our wedding with us. Hannah was very professional and communicated efficiently. We were able to work together to make sure everyone was on the same page and to get the right group of musicians together to form the quartet. Everyone was also very accepting of me arranging music for them to play to make it more personalized. It made the day just that much more special!
