About this vendor
Experience the ultimate venue in Chicago. The magnificent Great Hall at Chicago Union Station is the ideal location for elegant special events, receptions and weddings. Originally designed by famed architect Daniel Burnham ("make no small plans, they have no magic to stir men's blood") and completed in 1925 by the Graham, Anderson, Probst and White Firm.
In December 2016, Chicago Union Station completed restoration of the Burlington Room. The room was originally constructed as the Women's Lounge, where ladies could wait for the train and enjoy the services of the adjacent beauty parlor and other facilities. Today it is an elegant, historic space perfect for a wedding reception or cocktail party. It can accommodate up to 220 guests for a seated dinner and 294 for a cocktail reception.

Union Station is very beautiful both inside and out. We initially wanted to have the ceremony and reception inside the Union, but unfortunately, they under construction on parts of the facility. Nonetheless, I still made it there on my big day and took some awesome pictures outside with the columns.
