Jen was our event manager and even our wedding planner commented on how all over everything she was. Guests are still talking about how it was some of the best wedding food they have had, and no one was ever waiting for a drink at the bar. The all inclusive packaging makes vendor selection minimal, the space is gorgeous, and the team know how to run a wedding. As someone who had worked in the industry, I had particular expectations, and they truly over delivered on them all. 12/10 no notes, best decision we made!!!

The location is also great for guests, since they're near lots of things to do and there are plenty of hotels within walking distance. Our guests absolutely loved the different spaces the venue provides; it was a huge plus to have the terrace remain open throughout the night, so that guests who wanted a break from dancing had another space to be in and mingle. All of the staff did an incredible job, and we received a lot of compliments on the food as well. As with any wedding day I'm sure, there were a couple little details that got missed, but only myself and my husband would have noticed. Overall we had an incredible wedding day, our friends and family had a blast, and Chicago Winery was absolutely the venue for us. She gave us our venue tour and worked closely with us to make sure we could get exactly what we wanted while staying within our budget. She helped us find the perfect date and was always extremely responsive — answering every question quickly and thoroughly. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, and Lindsey made the process feel easy and stress-free. Our wedding coordinator, Chris, was amazing. He worked with us throughout the planning process to help bring our vision to life and made sure every detail was exactly how we wanted it. He was incredibly accommodating — whether it was allowing early drop-offs, coordinating a venue walkthrough for our photographer, or adjusting to last-minute requests. On the day of the wedding, Chris made sure everything ran smoothly so that my husband and I could truly relax and enjoy every moment. Every detail was handled perfectly. The catering team, led by Ro, was outstanding. The food was incredible — easily the best steak we’ve ever had at a wedding — and our guests are still talking about it. The bar service was efficient, with short lines and quick service all night. Ro was extremely attentive, and his team went above and beyond by packing everything up for us at the end of the night so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We are so grateful to the entire team at Chicago Winery for making our wedding day absolutely perfect. I would 100% recommend this venue to any couple looking for an amazing experience and a team that truly cares.

We wanted a ceremony and a cocktail-style reception, and they were able to accommodate exactly what we were envisioning. They had food stations that were easy to serve, yet so delicious and hearty. They transitioned the layout of the rooms many times throughout the night - and even laid out our supplies to celebrate New Year’s! Chris and his team were always responsive and professional. You should get married here!

The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with from start to finish. They truly made wedding planning a breeze. Chris Nehlsen was our event manager, and he was phenomenal throughout the entire process. He was so attentive, and I cannot imagine what our wedding day would have been without his attention to detail and careful planning. He was the true hero of the day when we had a mishap with the flowers, and he even amazed us the next day when one of our guests left something at the venue! Communication is clear and timely, and the team is organized and accommodating, which makes planning and day-of coordination feel smooth and stress-free. Their experience with weddings really shows in how seamlessly they manage the flow of the event, and think of every detail. The venue itself is versatile, with well-laid-out spaces that create an intimate, warm ceremony space, cocktail hour site, and wedding reception. Everything feels thoughtfully maintained, from the setup to the overall guest experience. Chicago Winery offers a polished yet approachable setting that feels distinctly Chicago. The in-house wine adds a unique touch, and we especially enjoyed their fantastic champagne. As huge fans of craft beer, Chris did an amazing job with helping us provide our guests with so many options! Our His & Her cocktails were a big hit as well. For the most part, the food was outstanding, but there were some dishes that were very heavy on the salt. Our favorite was the braised short-rib and the mac-and-cheese was a huge favorite for our guests! Overall, Chicago Winery is a reliable, high-quality vendor that delivers a professional experience and a memorable atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stylish modern, urban venue with a strong service team for their wedding!

e three things that make us highly recommend Chicago Winery to couples: Staff, Venue, Food & Beverage. Staff: The staff were all hands down incredible, and they made our day so special. Lindsey was the sales manager we worked with and was excellent throughout this process. Lindsey sold me early on in our search process because of the emphasis on removing all decision-making on the day of our wedding through good planning, having a strong staff to guest count ratio, and excellent event management staff. We worked with her until we were handed over to Chris, our event manager. Chris was spectacular and was imperative in assisting us through planning and executing. We fell behind in the wedding planning process, and he was excellent in the final months helping us get back on track. His knowledge and advice on questions and decisions we didn’t always have an answer to were a great guiding light to ensure we felt prepared for our wedding day. During the ceremony and reception, he was excellent at keeping everything moving on time while not making us feel rushed, which really allowed us to enjoy each moment. Venue: This venue is naturally beautiful and well setup for ceremony and reception onsite. The wood, lighting, arches, and ceiling centerpiece are stunning for the ceremony. We then transitioned to the four-seasons room for cocktail hour while the staff flipped the room for dinner. Between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner, Chris was great about hiding us away for 10 minutes at a time in the bridal suite with food and drinks always stocked in the room to keep us fed and enjoy quiet moments together. It was something that we did not realize how much we would appreciate. The four-seasons room was great in November with a high of 60 and low of 40. If the weather is better, it has the ability to have windows open which would be incredible for Summer and early Fall weddings. Food & Beverage: The cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres and table spread were all excellent. We had the top-shelf beverage package, and it was all excellent with plenty of different cocktails the bar staff could create. We asked for a Hugo Spritz and Sidecar as our specialty cocktails, and Chris got them coordinated even with it not being on their long list of options. Both cocktails were excellent. Another aspect we loved was dinner was served all at once to everyone with all mains and sides available. We upgraded one main to the Filet Mignon, and it was perfectly cooked medium rare every time. The entire staff was always excellent keeping my wife and I, along with all of our guests, well fed at all times with full water and drinks. I cannot highly recommend Chicago Winery enough to others for their wedding day. We felt our day was literally perfect, and it is because of the staff, especially Chris, that we will have those amazing memories for the rest of our lives. The feedback from our family and friends was spectacular.

The tasting a few months before of all the entrees and hors d'oeuvres was not only super fun and let us choose the correct food and drink for our reception but also allowed us to meet all of our potential coordinators in advance. We had Chris as our coordinator and he was spectacular, incredibly attentive to all of our wants and needs and very warm and friendly as well. Our reception would not have been as spectacular as it was without the amazing venue and people assisting us with every little detail, I would highly recommend it!

The ceremony space is so naturally beautiful we brought in minimal decorations for this space which ended up saving us some money in our florals budget. There is also passed wine for a reward for people that show up on time pre-ceremony. Guests loved this time to say hello to loved ones before the start of the ceremony. The food - The food is absolutely incredible. We went with the classic butcher block for Cocktail hour. We had a mix of passed little plates. The hits were the mini beef wellingtons and the Hamachi, but everything was highly talked about. The reception area is transformed into a lovely and romantic space when it is time for dinner and dancing. We once again elected minimal decor since the room really speaks for itself with the moody lighting and the skylight. We brought in hurricane candles and had some floral arrangements on the tables. The Food - AMAZING, So many people had genuinely said that it was the best food they were ever served at a wedding. Not even directly to us, we were hearing from the grapevine multiple days after the wedding that everyone was raving about the food. We went with the Asparagus, Scalloped potatoes, Short Rib, and Fried chicken thigh. It was truly incredible. The Drinks - Drinks were great, we got the reserved package. My only complaint is the Miller lights were not very cold. This could have very well been due to my guests' infatuations with the beverage, and they didn't stay on ice long enough at the bar station. All in all, this was the best place we could have asked for to get married at. The place is seriously so naturally beautiful. All of our guests had a blast. My wife and I are hoping someone we know gets married here SOON so we can have a guests experience at the venue too. was friendly, the food was delicious, and they took care of just about everything. They were flexible with us to come to another tasting to try some of the food again, they helped coordinate load in/out times with our additional vendors, and our day-of coordinator did a ton to make the day special for us (e.g., setting up the bridal suite, unpacking/packing up decorations, coordinating with vendors on where to set things up). All food and alcohol packages were also through them, which saved us a bunch of time and stress in looking at and coordinating for those vendors. I would probably rate them a 4.5 if I could, and the only reasons I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 are because sometimes it felt that they were trying to nickel and dime us (like probably any vendor would) for what could be included within our contract and we paid (a lot) extra for late-night pizza that we never saw. The pizza was put out in the main room and no one told us/the DJ that it was out, so hardly anyone saw it or had any. They also took it away before the end of the night, so people were not able to take a slice on their way out, and it was not boxed up for us to take either. We talked to several of our guests, and less than a handful even knew it was there. For future weddings, I would recommend having the staff inform the DJ/band so that he/she/they can make an announcement to the guests or putting it out where the dessert was also stationed.

Hulda Reyes anticipated my every need as a bride, and Ro made sure our whole wedding party was taken care of. In a room full of family and people who love us, I was equally if not more excited to see Ro’s and Hulda’s faces in the crowd. The venue is gorgeous, the food is amazing, but also the level of attention and care on the actual day is more than we could have ever imagined. We are so grateful to Chicago Winery. Moreover, my husband and I are excited to have a place downtown that offers food and drinks for anniversaries so we can relive the day over and over again.

with a well deserved vacation our wedding coordinator took just weeks before our event date, there was a seamless temporary transition with another coordinator who truly gave just as much time and dedication as our official event manager. The dinner served for us and our guests were just as outstanding as the staff. The free inclusion of a vegan option on top of the two non-veg mains meant we and everyone close to us were able to have a delicious meal.

ght be a "type-A planner", they really make planning a wedding (or any event for that matter) so simple and easy. We, honestly, did not experience any stress leading up to the wedding day and on wedding day. If there were any problems, we didn't know. Our guests, a month and change later still can't stop talking about how amazing the food was and the drinks. Having a "one-stop shop" makes event planning absolutely amazing, but when the food is prepped and cooked as the evening is happening, you cannot be it. Booking here, you will not get the typical pre-cooked food, that's just reheated under heat lamps. Everything is fresh. The staff makes sure that you are fed on your wedding day, which is HUGE. The space, itself, is just stunning. You can fill it with flowers and stuff, but honestly, there is no need. We did a candlelight style dinner and had our florist just add to the votives they already provide. It allowed our guests to chat across the table and have the space for all those yummy drinks and food! They call you a "VIC" (Very Important Couple) and they treat you like that, from the moment of signing and through your wedding evening. We just cannot recommend this place anymore.

They kept things moving smoothly and minimized stress on the big day. Our guests had an amazing time, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

It is an incredibly warm and inviting venue that was perfect for our day - we absolutely loved the ceremony/reception space but also really enjoyed having the terrace space for cocktail hour and as a quieter area during the reception for guests to step out while the band was playing. We had about 170 people at our event, and it was the perfect number for the space. One of the big selling points for us was that CW handles all food and drink onsite and everything was WONDERFUL. One of the top compliments we received from guests was how good the food was. The CW team made us feel special and celebrated throughout the entire process and were very flexible and accommodating based on our various needs. We had the pleasure of working with Hulda, the CW event coordinator, in the months leading up to our wedding and cannot say enough great things about her!! Hulda was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She answered all of our random questions and made us feel at ease with all of the details. The day-of event staff was also so excellent – everyone was so nice and clearly working so hard to keep everything moving. We are so grateful for the awesome CW event team!
