hing we liked, none checked every box—until we found Chicago Winery. From the moment we submitted an inquiry, we knew we were in good hands. We received a response almost immediately and were able to schedule a call with their Sales Manager, Lindsay, later that same day. During our conversation, she took the time to understand our vision, guest count, priorities, budget, and the overall atmosphere we hoped to create. She also shared available dates within our preferred timeframe and thoughtfully recommended having one or two dates in mind if we were seriously considering the venue. A few days later, we toured Chicago Winery and were welcomed with a complimentary glass of wine. By the end of the tour, we were completely sold and booked our wedding date that same day. The venue is absolutely stunning, but what truly stood out was the professionalism, warmth, and organization of the team. Throughout the planning process, we had access to the event management team whenever questions came up. About three months before our wedding, we were introduced to our Event Manager, Hulda, and attended our tasting. Unlike many venues, Chicago Winery prepares every item on their menu for couples to sample—from passed hors d'oeuvres and salads to entrées, sides, desserts, and of course, their wines. They host tastings with all of the couples getting married around the same time, which made for such a fun and unique experience. It was exciting to meet other couples and share in the wedding planning journey together. Hulda was absolutely phenomenal. She provided an incredibly detailed planning document that covered everything from food and beverage selections to vendor information, ceremony details, music, décor, and timeline logistics. She was consistently responsive, patient, and helpful whenever we had questions. About six weeks before the wedding, we met for our final walkthrough, where we reviewed the timeline, discussed logistics, and incorporated her recommendations to ensure the day flowed seamlessly. On our wedding day, everything exceeded our expectations. The venue recommends holding the rehearsal once the bridal party arrives, which worked perfectly and kept the day running efficiently. They welcomed us with champagne and a charcuterie spread in the bridal suite, which was such a thoughtful touch before the festivities began. From guest arrival—where everyone was greeted with passed wine—to the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner service, and reception, the entire event team kept everything running effortlessly. We never had to worry about what came next because they were always one step ahead. Their coordination allowed us to truly be present and enjoy every moment of the day. Our guests are still talking about how incredible the venue was. We received countless compliments on the ambiance, the attentive service, and especially the food, which exceeded everyone's expectations. Chicago Winery delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish and made the wedding planning process feel far less overwhelming than we ever expected. Choosing Chicago Winery was one of the best decisions we made. Every member of the team genuinely cared about making our day special, and we couldn't be more grateful.
