right down to the out of place flower. Chuck is great to talk to about other vendors and what he recommends as well as what questions to ask. My only complaint is the way he does his CDs. He has it coded in a way that you can't download them from the disc to your computer and print at your convenience. In this day in age I think is something to look in to.

It made it a lot easier than rushing after the ceremony to get all the photos. They weren’t just great at taking wonderful photos and getting all the shots we wanted, they went above and beyond what any normal photographer would do. Mary was so helpful with my cranky one year old when I had to do all my normal Bridal duties. She didn’t even think twice about it and stepped in and we were so grateful to her. We HIGHLY recommend Childers photography! Quality photos, professional, and great people.

My wife and I both sat down with Chuck to go over the details of our wedding and to go over anything else, Chuck very persistently tried to persuade us to see each other before the wedding for his benefit of making the pictures easier even though my husband and I had already decided not to see each other before the ceremony. He is very old school and everything is done in pen and paper and needed to be submitted physically, nothing can be submitted online. We created a timeline that worked best for us and it aloud enough time according to the paperwork we received but it did not work for Chuck. We ended up moving our wedding back an hour to allow more time for pictures. Throughout the day he was very rude to my friends and family that were a part of the wedding and several family members agreed. There was a section in the paperwork that asked for any special request pictures that we filled out and it was ignored so we missed several pictures we really wanted. The pictures themselves were subpar at best. The positioning was awkward and forced. The pictures of my wife made her body look unnatural. We only received only one or two group photos of the bridal party. We did not receive any pictures with just the bride and groomsman or groom with bridesmaids, which I have seen from any wedding I have ever been to or been apart of. We were supposed to receive several pictures for Facebook to share “shortly” after the wedding which ended up being a month. When we were shared those select photos we discovered that several photos we did not receive were being shared with our venue and not us. We received a disc to review our images and the software was well outdated and very cumbersome to use. Overall we are very unhappy with our experience and we would not recommend this photographer.

y was absolutely amazing and coached me on positioning and stance throughout the day and I didn't even know they were there at the wedding. This team works very well together and were very timely for each moment throughout the day. They also displayed strong flexibility regarding my choice of location for getting ready and my need to walk down the aisle right when arriving to the church for the ceremony. The day was very well scheduled and I couldn't be happier with the photos we have received! As the Bride, it was fantastic to have a worry free day regarding the pictures and as a result I was able to fully enjoy my own wedding and truly cherish every moment.

Chris, Sarah and others at Childers have been professional, kind, courteous, patient, fair, honest with feedback and downright fun to work with over the last year! From designing creative, unique photos to patiently handling my stresses of the wedding day after I was running behind schedule (I hate being late!!), I know why they’ve been in business for over 20 years! Mary took extra steps to recreate some shots from our engagement photo session at our wedding, and the result was not only stunning but also thoughtful and meaningful for us as we look back and enjoy the memories. Photography is so key to a wedding day – after the food is gone, the dancing is done, the cake has been cut and the drinks have been toasted – the photography is what allows you to savor the memories of that special day for a lifetime to come. We had all 3 of our children in the wedding as well, so the photography was extra-special, and Childers was wonderful about making sure they were included. I had a co-worker tell me that one of the portrait shots looked straight out of a fairy tale, and she’s right. We were blessed to have Chuck’s expertise to recognize the opportunity and get the shot – one of my favorites! I’m having trouble narrowing down the photos for our album because there are so many incredible photographs. Many brides wait months for pictures to come back – not with Childers! Even at peak wedding season they had our proofs done in just a few weeks! Their online format for sorting and selecting photos is very helpful, and allows you to control who sees your proofs. I’m happy to say they have EXCEEDED every expectation I had!! I cannot recommend them highly enough! If you are considering Childers for photography, CALL THEM!! I’m so glad we did!!

n great to work with from step one and their amazing images speak for themselves. We never felt pressured during our initial meeting and Chuck took the time to answer all of our questions. He also helped us plan a timeline for our big day based upon his knowledge of the various events and how long each will generally take. On our wedding day Christine and her crew couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful guiding us through all of the different poses and grouping to make sure we got all the pictures we were hoping for. They captured all of the joy and emotion of the ceremony and all the great times of dining, drinking, and dancing with family and friends as we celebrated our marriage. It's worth nothing that they weren't intrusive at all. It's some kind of magic to get so many great shots while staying completely out of the way. Well done ladies! And finally a HUGE thank to you Chuck and Mary for a short additional photo session to capture some images we weren't able to get on our wedding day due to some badly timed rain and an improvised schedule. If you're looking for a professional, experienced photographer that's easy to work with, who genuinely cares about helping you plan the perfect day, and who'll make sure to capture all the moments that mean the most, we highly recommend Chuck Childers and his awesome staff!

ictures, our guest book, table numbers (using our engagement photos), and invitations. Everything was absolutely beautiful and they are so professional. The pictures come out amazing and you get a CD and an actual album. Most places now just give you a CD and you have to figure out or take it to Walgreens and get less than good quality prints. With this photographer you can get amazing prints and take the CD and print those you want as needed. It was such a joy working with Chuck and his team and I would recommend them to any bride-to-be!

day of the wedding Steve was on time and ready to take great pictures. Steve's assistant Jenna was also amazing! She was very helpful and went above and beyond (even while being very pregnant. At the end of the evening Steve checked in with my husband and I to make sure we didn't have any last minute picture requests before leaving for the evening. I can't wait until we get our proofs back because I know they will be great based on the picture Steve showed us throughout the day. I would highly recommend Childers if you are looking for quality pictures!!

So far the quality of the photos have been great, but we are still in the process of selecting our album & photos. We look forward to the final product.

gs I liked best was they were easy to work with. We were able to meet with them on a moment's notice with no problems. Ask for Chris- she was wonderful! She always got back to my calls and e-mails right away, even when they were closed. One of the problems we had with them was that one of the photographers kept urging my husband and I to see each other before the wedding so that it takes less time for the photographers and that it was the "trend" to do, when we made it clear that we were NOT going to see each other. Another nuisance was when the wedding party made it to the reception- when all we were trying to do is freshen up, take a few breaths, and one of the photographers comes up to me (the Bride!) and asks why they didn't receive assigned seating and that they wanted to be seated (when we had set aside a table for the vendors, but didn't think it was crucial that we give them name plates). Other than that, they were professional, and did a great job seeking what my husband and I wanted.

My excitement made me impatient for my pictures, but it was SO worth the wait. Childers made me look like a model out of a bridal magazine. They were simply stunning. And not only that, but they managed to get pictures that were very special to me, and ones that I will cherish forever. They even took pictures of every little detail, from my dress to my cake to my catering! I could not thank them enough for everything!

e I ran into leading up the wedding was dealing with the owner. He called many times for the same information I had already submitted. I appreciate that he wanted updates but with a busy work and wedding planning schedule it was a bit much.

ly my wife did all the photography purchasing without me) do NOT use a group like this. As i mentioned earlier, the pictures are great but what companies do like this is slowly real you in! It starts with a "small" deposit, next thing you know you are putting down well over a thousand bucks. In the back of your head, you are thinking its ok because "everybody" pays this much for wedding pictures and these people are the "best". Well if you're reading this review, you should have enough internet searching expertise to realize that marketing makes things seem better than they really are. So let me fast forward things.. the wedding is done and over and its 3 months later and you are thinking about what you get out of all that money you spent on those great photographers you hired for your wedding. Well, the answer is NOT A LOT. Yes, you get a disk with some low resolution (quality) images that are great to look at. I bet they never bragged to you about this part when they were taking you money.. You have no "rights" to anything you are looking at. You can NOT download those images. You HAVE to purchase them at a ridiculous price from Childers to have anything. So now you're at the point where you are thinking, "Dang, I poured all this money into Childers and I don't even have a thing to show except for this low quality CD that only allows me to view pics!" This is where the Childers contract writers (that YOU signed) are sitting back at their chairs in the office giggling, knowing that more money is on the way. What else are you gonna do? Have another wedding? These pictures are almost priceless (to you) and they know you will spend additional top $$ to purchase the picture from them, which is your ONLY option. My word of advice for what it's worth.. Go somewhere else and buy the rights to YOUR (not theirs) pictures. Otherwise, you will be spending $13.00 for 5x9's that cost them 14 cents to print. They will try to tell you that it is a "art" to adjust the color and quality of the pictures taken to be "perfect" but they are full of it (in my opinion). 97% of the images are printed as taken. If you want to pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars for 3% of your pictures, you are going to the right place. If you want great pictures at a reasonable price, go somewhere that allows you to buy the rights to "YOUR" pictures. Else, you will regret it and be out more than what they make you think in you consultation. Once they have you locked in, all their costs come out and there is not a thing you can do about it but pay top dollar. Stay away from Childers!
