Chimney Pond Farm was professional and lovely from day one of planning! They were incredibly helpful with sorting out details that we never would have thought of without them. They made sure we were prepared for every step of the day which ensured that we were calm and able to fully enjoy every moment. The venue itself is so beautiful and provided the most breathtaking view for the most special moment of our lives. Every detail of the day was taken care of from getting ready in the bridal cottage to the send off. They coordinated all of our vendors day of and everything went so smoothly. Cannot recommend them enough!

Chimney Pond Farm provided my daughter with her dream wedding. The greenery at the ceremony site is like no other. The beauty from the trees, lake and mountains as she said her vows was outstanding. The service Raquel and Brooke provided to make sure we had a stress free and flawless wedding weekend. I highly recommend CPF for your future wedding.

Could not speak more highly of this venue and the people involved here. I was a bride that went through the transition of the sale of the business and transition of a coordinator and it could not have gone more seamless. Raquel is fantastic to work with and Brooke under her wing is learning all the great things. This venue was extreme flexible with what you want and really allows your vision to come to life. The Airbnb's on property for the long weekend provide a unique opportunity to spend quality time with guest before the wedding. I nicknamed it my compound wedding because once you drive into the venue there is really no reason to leave, they have everything and are still expanding. It could not have been a better place for our 100 people destination wedding. Also as a person who was worried about doing décor and centerpieces, Raquel and Brooke really bought it all to life with the items the venue already had plus the pieces we brought. It was a beautiful and hands off experience from that aspect. I felt full confidence to enjoy the weekend and not stress about checking in on the design constantly. They made sure the tiniest details were covered. Truly an amazing venue!

The venue alone is absolutely breathtaking and by itself is worth every penny. The staff makes it truly incredible. Raquel & Brooke did an amazing job making sure my day ran smoothly. They were easy to work with throughout the whole process, responsive, and fun. Raquel went above and beyond to run out and get us more wine when we embarrassingly ran out during cocktail hour. Words cannot describe how absolutely perfect our wedding day was! More importantly, how Chimney Pond was the heart of it. With a short engagement my fiance and I were anxious to find the perfect venue, from my first interaction with Lauren I knew those worries could be laid to rest. Our wedding package included décor, day of coordinator ( the lovely Raquel) and two of the air BnB’s on the property. With Raquel as our coordinator there wasn’t a step along the way I felt concern. Raquel is the most organized, thoughtful and attentive coordinator. As a bride that had too many ideas but not enough vision Raquel pulled them all together and created a picture perfect setting. The day of our wedding Raquel had everyone on schedule from preparing guests and wedding party members to venue teams and vendors, all while always checking in if we needed something. Chimney Pond Farms is an absolutely beautiful venue to choose for your ceremony. On the hill, you can see mountains, a lake and Christmas trees. The venue is located on a Christmas tree farm which adds to the beauty of the area. The reception space is a great size no matter if it’s a small guest list or one of a larger size. Everyone we worked with at the venue has been absolutely amazing and helpful. Raquel has helped us every step of the way until we reached our wedding. She answered all of our questions and helped me find a babysitter in the area. Brooke helped us on the day of our wedding and was great help with everything. The venue made my dream come true and could not have asked for a better location to get married at. I would love to do it all over again. That is how amazing everything was. Also I was able to bring home a Christmas tree that we were able to cut. Now our Christmas tree is a reminder of our wedding and I get to think about it every time I look at it as we make our way towards Christmas. One of our favorite parts of getting married was the venue! So beautiful and peaceful. Every single one of our guests told us it was one of the best venues they’ve ever seen. Our coordinator, Raquel, was awesome. So attentive and quick to respond. We got married from out of state but the whole process was just as easy if we got married down the street. We loved having the option to rent property on site, we ended up renting 2 of the houses on the property. I may be biased but honestly they best place to get married at.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with a venue. Working with Raquel was fantastic and even our wedding party members remarked on how kind she was as well as how good she seems at her job as a planner. We booked the venue and then it changed ownership about halfway through our engagement. We were a little worried at first, but were quickly put at ease as the planning continued smoothly. Raquel was extremely responsive and was able to answer all of our questions. She helped us come up with ways to incorporate things into our wedding smoothly. Our entire wedding weekend was absolutely beautiful at the venue and the houses were well cleaned and ready to go for us. The rehearsal process was also smooth. While the venue may seem pricey, it comes with pretty much any decoration you could need and then some as well as napkins, linens, silverware, plates, chargers, serving platters etc. you could honestly even get away without florals here with all the stuff they have (though florals are obviously nice to have). Anyway, I am so so glad we chose chimney pond farm. It really couldn’t have gone more smoothly and Raquel took so much off of our plates. We felt very taken care of.

An amazing weekend and wedding day spent with our closest family and friends in the mountains. Guests could not get over how beautiful the ceremony site was, and our event coordinator, Raquel, was excellent!

Chimney Pond Farms was the most amazing venue for our June wedding. It is absolutely beautiful and we were told by our guests that it was hands down the prettiest venue they have been to. Raquel- our coordinator was beyond amazing. She was so helpful through everything and very organized. Our day was perfect and went so smoothly because of Raquel. Please please book this venue!! You will not regret it.

First off, this venue is literally breathtaking! The views are of course beautiful and there was such a variety of different spots around the venue with different vibes for us and our guests to hang out at and take pictures at. This was the first venue my husband and I saw online after we got engaged and we already had fallen in love with it but also figured we should still see other venues just in case! (Especially with having time with a 2 year engagement) We looked at this one again when it was getting closer to our desired wedding date and decided on it without even viewing the venue in person! We just knew it was the one! Second off, Nicole, was awesome! The fact that she can pull off all of the coordination that she does is seriously so impressive! She was always so nice, easy to talk to, and always so helpful and patient. Their vendor list is awesome and there are places to stay on the property which was super convenient for our family and the rest of our wedding party. Our wedding was beautiful, memorable, and we always talk about how we could relive the day again! (and so do our guests) We don’t regret picking this venue and getting to plan with Nicole a single second. Thank you Nicole and Sawyer Family Farmstead for giving us the best day ever!

This location was absolutely amazing and a gift to find. The views were stunning and I can’t wait to get our photos back to see it all again. We also stayed on the property which made it so nice to have the whole wedding party just relax there and not rush to get there for the ceremony. Nicole worked with us every step of the way. I never knew if any issues arose on the day. She was a gem! She provided us some options for vendors that we weren’t required to use. Every vendor we picked from her list were amazing. All our guests were raving about the food, photographers, cake, most of all the view and the location itself. I’m pretty sure my cousin announced if she was getting married she was coming here bc it was so fun. I can’t speak highly enough about Sawyer Family Farm and Nicole. They made our wedding beyond anything I could ever imagine. You won’t go wrong if you pick this place.

My June wedding at Sawyer Family Farm was absolutely every thing that I wanted! Nicole and her team took time to get to know what my wishes were and then took care of all the details so that I could relax and enjoy my wedding weekend. The meadow overlooking Lake Glenville provided a magical backdrop for my wedding day. The reception site at the barn was decorated so beautifully and just the way that I wanted. Nicole listened to all of my wishes for my wedding and helped to make my dream wedding come true!

From the minute my daughter and I drove in to Sawyer Family Farmstead and met with Nicole, we knew that it would be the site for the wedding of her dreams. It is incredibly beautiful, and Nicole and her team are so experienced, knowledgeable, and kind. We used Nicole as our florist and she purchased hydrangeas and roses, then made it extra special with added greenery, pine, and dahlias cut from the surrounding area. The food and the wedding cake were just delicious, provided by vendors recommended by Nicole. And an added bonus was that both immediate families and children stayed in three fabulous guest houses on the property! It was all just perfect. ❤️🎄

We got married at Sawyer Family Farmstead in July of this year and it truly was the best day. We are from Florida, so I was stressed about planning a destination wedding, but from the very beginning, Nicole made the entire planning process incredibly smooth and easy. She answered my 10 million questions, put my all my concerns at ease, and helped my vision come together perfectly down to every last detail! 3 months later and our guests are still talking about how much they loved the venue and wedding! Sawyer Family Farmstead was the most amazing place to get married! All of our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was inside and out. Nicole and her team were incredible. It was raining all day but I still wanted to have the ceremony on top of the hill. Nicole's team set up the ceremony underneath the porch overhang and it was absolutely beautiful! All our guests said they felt like they were at a spa. From setting up a gorgeous reception to flawlessly navigating the rain with all of our guests, we were blown away by Sawyer Family Farmstead, Nicole Wade and her team. If you are considering this location, I strongly encourage you to book it right away.

Nicole was so amazing to work with! The first time I met her I loved how on top of things she was. This assured me that I wouldn't have any issues come wedding day. I am so type A and was nervous that everything would go wrong...I was so wrong the day came and things FLEW by! Nicole made sure everything was perfect and in order throughout the whole planning process and weekend of! The venue is also AMAZING we had so many guest tell us they had never seen a more beautiful place!

We are overwhelmed - our wedding was absolutely beautiful and that wouldn’t have been possible without Nicole and Sawyer Family Farmstead. It is arguably the most beautiful location for a wedding in WNC, but no other venue comes with Nicole. Our day went so smoothly because she was there keeping everything on track, making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be, and seamlessly moving to plan B when the weather took a turn. Not only did the venue come with Nicole, but it also came with an awesome farmhouse that fit our entire wedding party and a honeymoon cabin for my husband and I to escape to after the wedding. Most of our family is from out of state and had never been anywhere like Glenville, NC. It’s been a week and everyone is still raving about it. You will not find a more beautiful and unique setting for your wedding and you won’t find anyone better than Nicole to plan it. Plus, this venue is also a Christmas tree farm, so we will be able to return every year for a Christmas tree!

If you want stunning views with rustic charm, this is the perfect place to get married! We accidentally found Sawyer Family Farmstead on The Knot after visiting other venues in the area. It was late in the afternoon and we were headed out of town but decided to give them a call and see if we could stop by and tour the venue. From the moment we called Sawyer Family Farmstead and talked to Nicole, everything was perfect! Nicole Wade is the absolute best and the most easy to work with wedding planner out there. She provided us with recommendations for our caterer, photographer/videographer, DJ, transportation, and hotel accommodations. All of her recommendations were wonderful and we were extremely pleased with our entire wedding team. The venue is stunning but Nicole made our wedding experience so enjoyable. We brought our vision to Nicole and she made it come to life. The reception site is so quaint and charming. When it is decorated with candles and florals, it becomes a magical place. I would highly recommend a visit to Sawyer Family Farmstead if you want a dream wedding!

My (now) husband and I were one of the many couples that had to postpone their wedding due to covid, therefore I worked with Sawyer’s, and specifically Nicole, for over 2 years. Nicole and staff could not have been more helpful and kind during those couple years and we are beyond thankful. On the day of the wedding, there was no rain in the forecast, but somehow it rained for the 20 minutes during the ceremony. That being said, it was BEYOND perfect and Nicole and staff couldn’t have been more on top of things. They had cute umbrellas for everyone, helped us dry off the bridal parties outfits, all while keeping all the other guests super happy. Honestly, the rain just made the pictures, videos and memories that much more memorable and beautiful anyways. Not only was the staff amazing, but the venue and all my other vendors made the most stunning and fun wedding. Lake Glenville makes for a beautiful backdrop and the Christmas tree farm is the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding. Even the reception hall was spectacular and I was blown away with the set-up of the tables and dance floor. That day is one we will never forget all thanks to Nicole and the Sawyer’s family!

The best venue and wedding coordinator you could dream of! The venue is breathtaking. From where the ceremony takes place to the cocktail hour and reception area, it is all absolutely beautiful. On top of that, there are not even words to describe how wonderful and helpful Nicole is. From the planning to making things go as smoothly as possible the day of, she is on top of it all. My wedding probably would have been a disaster if it was not for her, especially since I was planning from Florida. I basically just gave Nicole an Idea of what I wanted and when I finally walked in it was even better than I had imagined it was going to be. She had everything so organized and she even communicates with your vendors to make sure they are organized and ready for your big day. She even packs up all your food, gifts, and has your personal stuff ready for you at the end of the night when you go to leave. I also love how she had my husband and I come back to the bridal cottage after pictures and before the reception so we can have a little time to ourselves and she had hors d'oeuvres and vodkas in there waiting for us when we showed up. She even let my husband and I stay at her single bed/bath cabin next door last minute after hotel cashiers gave us issues on only staying one night and made us cancel and it literally could not have worked out any better! I think our favorite part was when she took us mudding on the side by side through the woods to get to the cabin at the end of the night and we were dying laughing because we didn't expect it. Don't worry, she won't actually get you muddy, but she knew we were country people and would love it. Overall, the Sawyer Family Farmstead is not only such a beautiful venue, but Nicole is such a godsend and I would recommend them all day long!

As soon as my fiancé proposed, I knew I wanted to get married at Sawyer. I met with Nicole on Easter weekend 2019 in the pouring rain, covered in mud, and still knew this venue was for us. Nicole with there to help us every step of the way. Even with the uncertainty that COVID-19 brought, Nicole was calm, cool, and collected the entire way. I did end up changing my date to a later date and Nicole made a change seen effortless. She had a list of vendors that had been at the venue before and I honestly do not regret choosing any of her suggestions. Especially a in light of a pandemic, Sawyer was a perfect indoor/outdoor wetting venue to make a small or large crowd feel like you had a backyard wedding without the hassle. Her team made everything perfect, and I cannot imagine my day anywhere else. The level of expertise and skill this venue has is unparalleled!! You will not regret your day here!

When I look back on my wedding day, the one thing I remember the most is walking down the aisle to my soon to be husband in one of the most gorgeous settings I've ever been. Right in the middle of a Christmas tree farm, surrounded by rolling mountains, and with a sweeping view of misty Lake Glenville in the distance, the setting is something straight out of a fairy tale and gives me chills to even think about now. However, more important than the beauty of the venue, is the wonderful family who runs it and who are the people that will bring your wedding day vision to life. The folks at SFF, specifically Nicole Wade, are just such good people that will go above and beyond to do the right thing, and ultimately they have the same goal as you - they want your day to be a success. Planning a wedding is stressful but the folks are SFF make it so easy. They are true professions who know how to throw the wedding of your dreams and make it look seamless doing it. My wedding planning process was in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, making it certainly not an easy (or remotely stress-free) task. However, SFF exhibited so much flexibility and willingness to adapt to the hurdles that the pandemic threw at us. I can truly say that I don't know if my wedding would have happened in 2020 if I hadn't chosen a venue that was so willing to quickly adapt and to take the necessary steps to ensure that all my guests felt safe and comfortable. Choosing Sawyer Family Farmstead was hands down the BEST decision I made throughout the wedding planning process and this special place and people made the wedding of our dreams come true.

BEST venue and team you could ask for! Don't be scared off by the initial price, as it seems costly, but is entirely worth it when it comes to your day. We almost didn't even look at the farm because of the pricing, but didn't realize how much was included, comparatively to other venues that charge you for every little thing. Nicole was the absolute best coordinator, especially during COVID season. We had an August wedding and was one the first weddings the farm had, so we hurdled a lot of obstacles, but could not have done it without Nicole. She is very supportive and allows you to do your own thing, but provides feedback from her experiences. On the day of, none of us had to worry about anything at all, as the setup and takedown were also taken care of. The farm is an absolute dream and pictures don't do it any justice! All of our friends and family continuously said that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to, and we felt like we didn't have to do that much due to the natural beauty of the space. It was so fun creating an itinerary for the weekend for all of our guests to enjoy the mountains and take a little vaca away from their homes during this trying time. Could not have asked for a better venue, coordinator, or day. Everything was absolutely perfect!! We plan on going back and picking out our christmas tree in the winter as a tradition, and to say hello to the crew.

Nicole at SFF was so supportive and helpful during a very stressful and uncertain time of wedding planner with COVID precautions. I felt so grateful to have chosen a family operated business who concentrated on planning and hosting the best wedding for me and my husband.

COVID bride here! Our wedding plans were complicated to say the least, but Nicole was our champion through the whole process. She was creative in helping us think through the entire weekend, and so understanding. She really put us at ease. She's a very talented planner! The site is absolutely breathtaking. Our guests were in awe at the view. The entire Sawyer team was a joy to work with, and I highly recommend them.

First of all, as someone who works in the wedding industry, I have to say that for the price/investment, Sawyer Family Farm is an incredible value. Also, the staff there (particularly Marina) are all so lovely to work with. Marina went above and beyond to make our day perfect and she has a heart of gold. Beyond that...the place is completely gorgeous, picture perfect!! We did the elopement package and had a cocktail hour with light food. The food was fantastic!! This is truly a special place. You will not regret having your wedding or event at Sawyer Family Farmstead.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Sawyer Family Farmstead is the perfect wedding venue. My husband and I got married here on 5/18/19. Not only is the venue breathtakingly beautiful, the staff here is also phenomenal. They also had all decorations and linens/china/etc in our package so we didn’t have to worry or stress about bringing anything! I cannot thank Nicole (the director at SFF) enough for everything she did for us. She went above and beyond her duties and was amazing to work with! I highly recommend this venue!

If you choose to have your wedding at Sawyer Family Farmstead, you should know it will be everything you imagine. The layout of the property is so unique and has great views of the mountains from all angles. We knew that this was where we wanted to have our special day within minutes of pulling in. To have your wedding on a Christmas tree farm is something we didn’t know we wanted until it was right there in front of us. The reception area is perfect for any sized wedding and allows ample space for people to mingle inside and out. Having the open doors allowed for your guests to stay comfortable with however the weather may be. We can’t say how many times we had our guests come up and say “this venue is perfect”. It truly is perfect, but one of the best parts of the venue is the staff. Particularly Nicole Wade. She’s an outstanding day of coordinator and helps out through the entire process of planning your wedding. Without having to ask, she was taking care of things that we wouldn’t have though of. She was always assuring us that our day would be magical, and with her and her teams help, it was. There should be no hesitation to whether or not you would want to celebrate your wedding here! Everyone at Sawyer Family Farmstead were truthfully so amazing. We planned our wedding from FL and all of our guests repeatedly said "I have no idea how you guys did it." Nicole (Sawyers wedding coordinator / badass superwoman) was AWESOME. Thanks to her, my HUSBAND and I were able to check off all the little details that we would have never remembered to do. Nicole's personal contact list of vendors to choose from were so helpful! If she didn't have her trusty list, it would have added WAY more work for us; we are super grateful. Our guests were non stop raving about the amazing food and gorgeous flowers (shout out to Food Experience and The Blossom Jar!). The farm itself is stunning but honestly if it weren't for Nicole, Sherry and Terry, our wedding wouldn't have been as perfect as it was. THANK YOU LADIES!!!

This is by far the most spectacular wedding venue I have ever been to...and I was blessed to be the bride this past June! My husband and I weren’t 100% sure what we were looking for, and went to numerous venues in the Asheville area. The moment we stepped onto the property, we knew this was it. There is something special and magical about Sawyer. The ceremony site is breathtaking; the reception hall is remarkable; the bride’s and groom’s cottages were perfect; and the list goes on and on. After some sticker shock with the other venues, we were concerned it would be beyond our budget. However, we were pleasantly shocked to discover that the rates were more reasonable, and their packages offered much, much more! I didn’t have to worry about decor-it was included; china-it was included; musicians-included; a horse and carriage-what?!-yes, it was included too! They thought of everything! Our rapport was instant with Nicole, and it was a no-brainer to select her as our wedding planner. She was incredible!! She guided me every step of the way-from keeping me on schedule, to helping fill the gaps with my crazy ideas. There was never any pressure, and she was completely accommodating. She navigated every step of the way with ease, and she always made me feel like number one. I have almost 30 years’ experience in event management. I can truly say that the Sawyer Family Farmstead Team are hands-down the most well-run, thoughtful, creative, and professional team I have ever worked with. Our friends and family are still telling us that our wedding was the most beautiful and perfect wedding they have ever attended!

I don’t think it’s possible for me to say enough good things about this place! All the staff there are wonderful and willing to go above and beyond to make your day the BEST DAY EVER! We booked this place almost a year in advance and with other venues out there-nothing, I mean nothing will compare to this beautiful place! I scrolled online for weeks looking at venues with nothing catching my eye. Once I came upon SFF, I told my fiancé we have to go see this place(we live 3 1/2 hours away). When arriving we meet Nicole(wedding coordinator) and Tom and Myra Sawyer(owners) with open arms.They were so welcoming and have treated us like family ever since.They showed us around their gorgeous property. Christmas trees everywhere, the breathtaking view of Lake Glenville and the mountains as your back drop, groom and bridal cottages, Farmhouse on the property you can rent for the wedding weekend(a must do!)and the board walk that takes you to the pavilion deck and the oh so beautiful reception barn. I looked at my fiancé with tears in my eyes-he knew I fell in love with everything about this place and so did he! After we booked a date with them the planning began. Nicole worked with me throughout the whole process and I am beyond blessed we had her. She recommended some awesome vendors as well! Our wedding day turned out just perfect. We even had Hurricane Florence trying to show up. The rain kept away until after we said “I Do”. They gave our guests cute clear umbrellas and drove them down to the cocktail hour. After our first dance, my husband and I sat down to eat. He tuned to me and said, “just look at this place- the twinkling lights, candles, greenery and flowers everywhere, our family and friends-It’s absolutely beautiful and it’s all because of you!” I smiled at him, agreed and said “it’s all because of Nicole.” Nicole and all the SSF staff made all our visions come true and more than we could ever imagine!Their dedicated time and attention to detail was so much appreciated and oh so perfect! We’ve been told by our guests how our wedding was one of the most beautiful weddings they have ever been to. One guest even said that if she could do re-do her wedding over it would be just like this! We can not wait to go back to pick out our first Christmas tree as a newlywed couple, reminisce in the beauty and all the wonderful memories that were made. Sawyer Family Farmstead is a magical place - a very unique wedding venue with a stunning view. I originally chose SFF because of the flexibility in creating your own vision with the venue - Nicole was so wonderful in helping it come to life. I would highly recommend SFF to anyone who is looking for a versatile but beautiful venue.

I had my wedding at Sawyer Family Farmstead on May 26, 2018. From the moment my husband and I went to look at SFF seven months before our wedding we fell in love. The views are absolutely breathtaking. Our guests thought it was the most gorgeous wedding they had ever been to! The ceremony site sits on top of a hill and looks out over Lake Glenville and the mountains. It even rained during my ceremony and we weren't bothered by it at all. Nicole and Emily helped calm my fears about the weather and everything turned out ok. They were absolutely wonderful to work with. They had cute clear umbrellas at the chairs for my guests and they ran more out to them when it did start raining. By the time my ceremony ended, so did the rain. So have no fear, usually when it rains it passes quickly. I'd also recommend getting the carriage. It was my guests favorite touch of the whole wedding. I arrived at the ceremony in a horse drawn carriage. That was the next best thing since I wasn't able to bring my own horse to my wedding. We did bring our dog for the weekend though, and they were so accommodating to him. They are a dog friendly place, which was so awesome! My husband and our wedding party stayed in the farmhouse on the property and also rented one other house across from SFF for three nights. I'd highly recommend doing that, as it was so convenient to be on the property to walk around and figure out spots you want to take pictures at, and oversee the set up for your wedding. Nicole and Emily were so organized (which I loved - being an organizer myself), and everything flowed seamlessly. They listened to exactly how I wanted everything to look and how it should flow and then executed those ideas flawlessly. They truly made my dream day not only possible, but they made it come true. I feel like my wedding was a fairy tale come true. I can't stop reliving it in my mind, and looking at pictures. I want to be back there living it again and again! If you are looking for a stunning setting for your wedding look no further. SFF is the perfect choice. From the scenery, to the decorations, to the vendors, to the on-site house, to the wedding planners, SFF has it all! Also, Nicole did my wedding flowers and they were absolutely beautiful!!! It was one of my favorite things of the day (and flowers were my least concern out of everything). I can't recommend SFF enough! Thank you for making my dreams come true! Have you ever been sold “the dream” & then when everything is said & done you come out with less then nothing? Well this is exactly how my wedding played out. Let me start from the beginning, I went to view the venue in May of 2017 looking to book for May of 2018. We were greeted by Myra Sawyer, the owner of the venue, and shown around the property. I had mentioned that a fall wedding was idel, but my husband & I didn’t want to wait that long to tie the knot. Upon hearing this Myra comes up with a idea & this is how the conversation goes; “it’s your lucky day Taylor, I just had someone cancel their wedding for October of 2017, & that spot has your name on it”-Myra “oh, well that would be great but there is no way I would be able to have the wedding paid for in that short amount of time” -myself “oh no need to worry! The canceled weeding gets no refund, so I will give you a GREAT deal & a whole year from the date to pay it, & if you don’t take it right now I have someone else waiting” -Myra. So my mother & I quickly made a choice, because who wouldn’t want their dream wedding for a GREAT deal, & took the date. Within a week, everything was booked & invitations sent. 2 months go by & no mention of a contact, but everything is already planned out with the venues wedding planner so in my mind, everything’s going great. Wrong.July rolls around & Myra contacts me about a contract, I’m super excited to see what GREAT deal she has come up with, she already has $13,000 in the bank from a wedding that mine is taking the place of, right? So I look at the contract and everything is not how she promised.There is no “great deal” and she’s only giving me till 12/2017 to pay. I confronted her about the prices and what we discussed and all she said was “oh honey will work it out, just sign it”.She lied to me & my family throughout the whole process. All she is after is money, so unless you are a millionaire who doesn’t mind throwing it away, & enjoy dealing with unprofessional people , pick another venue.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Sawyer Family Farmstead! I seriously would give them 100 stars if I could. We had our wedding here the first weekend of May and all of our friends and family are still bragging about how beautiful it was, from the breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Lake Glenville at the ceremony spot, to the beautiful Christmas trees, to the jaw dropping execution of the decorations at the reception, Nicole and the rest of the SFF crew exceeded any expectation that we had for our wedding day. Thank you guys for making our dreams for the most perfect and magical day come to life. This place is THE place to get married! Sawyer Family Farmstead was the perfect place for our wedding ceremony and reception! We had a fall wedding and the foliage was amazing. Nicole was very easy to work with even with us living out of state. The day of was smooth and organized and all the decorations were beautiful.

Nicole will literally make all your dreams come true! We got married at Sawyer Family Farmstead almost 2 years ago (clearly this post is a little late), but it is still one of the best days of our lives! I was a pretty indecisive bride, but Nicole turned the barn into something out of a fairy tale and I couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect! She’s so fun to work with and the area is also so great for people to visit for the whole weekend. Lots of hiking and fun things to do around. I can't event begin to describe how incredible it was to work with Sawyer Family Farmstead. We saw the venue two years before our wedding date and immediately cancelled all of our other tours. The venue speaks for itself, but the team there is what truly makes the farmstead the perfect place to get married. We got the package that included the unlimited planning and it was 100% worth the money. We worked with Nicole throughout the two years and I can't say enough good things about her. She was so knowledgeable, caring, and professional all the way up until the wedding. On the day of our wedding her and Emily were so organized and had every detail planned out. We didn't even need to think about anything because she had it all planned out including when to eat. Our day was spectacular and we had a blast. We received so many compliments on how gorgeous the venue was and how wonderful the staff were. To anyone considering booking at the SFF, my husband and I highly recommend them.

I can't speak highly enough about Sawyer Family Farmstead. We fell in love with it the first time we saw it and things just got better from there. Nicole is AMAZING. We moved to Florida and started new jobs two months before our wedding so things in our lives were a little crazy. Nicole made sure that things were still moving along smoothly and kept me on track for planning. Our day was absolutely perfect. Even though it was raining, SFF's rain plan venue doesn't look like a rain plan, it looks like a first choice. The ceremony and reception were stunning and we had the best day of our lives. Nicole also did all of our flowers and let me just say, stunning doesn't do them justice. Buyer beware I’ll start at the beginning we spoke to the owner Mara she talked us into taking the date of October 7 th due to another bride that had paid for the venue in full had canceled for that date . That bride did not get as refund, as per Myra. Then she proceeded to tell us that she would give us a major deal if we took that date we only had 3 1/2 months to plan everything by the time the contract was rode up we also had agreed that we would barter some of the cost, we did our part, Myra also said we could pay for the venue next year. We finally agreed on what we were going to barter which was some landscape rock . I felt like the owners of the venue were bullies they told us if we didn’t like it we could cancel it. The day of the wedding it was very awkward due to the fact is that the owners are not honest people, if you get married there make sure you have everything written down nothing verbal if you pay cash make sure you get a receipt it was a black cloud over the whole day actually the whole planning of the wedding was awful .

She had spot on recommendations for vendors and helped us throughout the planning process. The wedding day I could just sit back and truly enjoy watching my daughter marry the love of her life. The location is beyond amazing. We had guests from all over the country and they couldn't stop commenting on how absolutely beautiful the venue was. It truly made it a fairy tale wedding - what more could you ask for as the mother of the bride. I got married and had my reception at Sawyer Family Farmstead and it was incredible. This is a place that we will continue to visit and forever be grateful for. Nicole is amazing to work with. It was stress free as she was able to handle all of the day of details and so much of the planning in the months prior to our big day. Whether being proposed to in the pouring down rain after cutting down a Christmas tree to getting married basked in the warm sunshine on the pergola overlooking the sparkling blue Lake Glenville and the mountains, SFF was a dream come true! We could not have picked a more beautiful space to share these special moments at or more wonderful people to work with. Nicole, Myra, Tom and Emily - you are every bride's dream team! Every detail was executed to perfection, and you were so accommodating to our requests and readily available throughout the whole planning process to help answer questions and weigh-in on decisions. Many of our guests said it was the most magical wedding they've ever been to and could not say enough wonderful things about the venue. Chris and I wish we could come back and do it all over again as a guest! It truly was the best day of our lives. SFF is a special place run by special people. We plan to come back to each year to celebrate our anniversary with a SFF Christmas tree.

Owned by Tom and Myra Sawyer, a couple so full of love and kindness, our daughter's wedding was planned/choreographed by their daughter, Nicole, with help from Emily. I mention all four because each one of them made sure every detail was perfect in an atmosphere of love, joy, and ease. Nicole is a force not to be believed! Her attention to every single aspect of the wedding day is unparalleled, never appearing to be anything but calm, happy to accommodate, and genuinely joyful about her work. The actual physical venue is so beautiful, again with such attention to the smallest details. We were blessed with incredible weather, so the marriage ceremony on the mountaintop was extraordinary! The rehearsal dinner also took place there and was equally well done by their staff! We are so grateful to everyone there and highly, highly recommend them!!

I married and had my reception here. We saw about 8 different venues around the upstate. No other venue came close to offering a view to rival the ceremony site. This whole facility is beyond gorgeous. The staff is exceptional as well. Tom and Myra are so sweet. Nicole absolutely went above and beyond during the whole year of planning. It rained, like down pour, the day of my wedding. Nicole and the rest of the staff was so wonderful in keeping everyone and everything organized. She truly made the best of the situation and kept me clam during all the last minute changes. I would recommend this venue to every engaged couple!

My wedding was absolute PERFECTION!! my hunsband and I were blown away with every detail ! We couldnt have asked for a better wedding coordinator, Nicole! She put everything together and made my dream wedding come to life!! She handled absolutely everything including all the flowers and decor. She made everything so simple....i sent her pictures and ideas i had for my wedding and she did the rest! she never once said she couldnt do something for me (and believe me im REALLY picky) Thank you Nicole and Myra and to all the staff at SFF for doing such a spectacular job. There wasnt a thing i would have changed (well maybe the dj cuz he didnt play the songs i requested but thats ok, he was a nice guy and we had a blast anyway). Also we went through Randevu for catering and let me tell you something...they are INCREDIBLE...not only mouth watering food, but the most friendliest staff you will ever meet. The gorgeous natural backdrop for our ceremony provided breathtaking photos featuring the jaw-dropping overlook of Lake Glenville in the background. Our fall ceremony was accented by the beautiful autumnal scenery and comfortable temperatures that allowed our guests to relax before and during our wedding ceremony. WOW! When my husband and I came to tour SFF we had a moment where we both looked at each other and said " We HAVE to get married here!" And believe me, we only loved that decision more and more! Not only is the venue gorgeous, but Nicole and her team are wonderful as well. From the moment we booked, Nicole helped me get all the best vendors. Nicole and all the Sawyer staff were absolutely amazing during every step of the way of our wedding planning all the way through to the day we said "I Do". We had Nicole as not only our day of coordinator but our wedding planner. She made the whole process so easy on us. Whenever I got overwhelmed about a certain planning step she would reassure me and help me refocus. I had several family members tell me that they had never worked with such a competent wedding planner. She was so organized and made sure the timeline the day of was kept. I was much more calm on the day of than I expected because of her and the staff continuously checking in on me and updating while I was getting ready. The venue was absolutely gorgeous. I had several of my wedding guests tell me how much they loved it. The natural greenery of the christmas trees, the easy flow of the layout of the property, the lighting of the property at night made it feel magical. To say the least my now husband and I would not change a thing about our wedding day or the planning process. It was worth every penny.

An absolutely amaizing venue! My daughter, her fiance, and I made the trip to Sawyer last year and could not believe what a gem we had found. Nicole and Myra treated us like family from the moment we toured the farm. Sawyer has a magical, fairy tale like setting with beautiful views and rustic charm. Nicole was so helpful and accommodating as our wedding planner in every aspect of our wedding We could email, text or call her anytime and she was always helpful with any concerns we might have. The attention to detail and perfection was present throughout the ceremony as well as reception. I give Sawyer a 5+++. If you want to get married in an absolutely romantic and idyllic setting, we recommend you venture to Sawyer. It is like a little piece of heaven nestled in the beautiful mountains of NC!

I am not even sure I can find the words to express our feelings towards this venue and the entire staff at Sawyer Family Farmstead. From the very beginning through days after the wedding, the advice, support and expertise given by Nicole, and all of the others we worked with, is nothing short of amazing. Our daughter and her husband had the most incredible wedding on May 21, 2016. When I asked them the day after "now that it is over, is there anything at all you would have changed"...their response "absolutely not, it was perfect." As a mother, those are the best words that could be heard. Thank you to Sawyer's, their dream wedding was fulfilled.

My husband & I got married on April 16, 2016 at the Farmstead. We started looking at venues in February 2015 & when we came across Sawyer Family Farmstead we knew instantly that we had found where we wanted to get married! We made a 2.5 hour commute to visit & were welcomed with open arms. Nicole is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet & her staff were just as awesome! We were fully informed of everything that their venue could accommodate, & were highly pleased. We were even told that arrangements could be made for anything we may would want to do differently. We even used all outside vendors who were not on the given vendor list. Nicole knows exactly what she's doing & is very good at keeping a frazzled bride on track! I can honestly say my day was way more laid back then I would have ever thought & I know it's because of how beautiful the farmstead is & how knowledgable the staff are! I would recommend the farmstead to anyone looking for the PERFECT place to tie the knot!
