ncredibly helpful! He catered to our custom requests for prerecorded songs, school fight songs, order of the night, etc. They're super responsive and very professional. Any question I had was addressed promptly and kindly. Working with them was so easy and I felt confident that the night would go well with them.
The band was AMAZING! They were so good at playing off the feel of our guests. They controlled their sound perfectly (not overly loud or too soft) and had everyone - even the nondancers - off their feet dancing the night away! Everyone had a smile on their face and so many guests complemented us on the band. Everyone was blown away by Chinatown and absolutely loved them! Many people said it was the best band they had ever seen - SO TRUE!

t for the reception I talked to several bands and we discussed hiring a DJ. Kenny with Chinatown stayed in contact and was a pleasure to deal with. We ended up hiring them sight unseen and hoped for the best. We were not disappointed. They played beautiful music during the cocktail hour and dinner and then got the party started after dinner. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last and many people never left the dance floor even after 3 continuous hours of music. The band does not take breaks which is incredible and keeps the party going the whole evening.
If you are thinking of DJ forget about that. A band is more expensive but the energy and excitement can’t be supplied by a DJ, you need a live band. Chinatown’s music from contemporary to classic rock to country is great and provided entertainment and dancing options for everyone. And the light show they provide is great too.
Our experience with Chinatown was more than we could have asked for. Their talented musicians and vocalists make every song sound great. Sometimes you thought you were listening to the original artist. They worked with every request my daughter and son-in-law had and made the evening special for them.
Book Chinatown and you will not be disappointed and people will be talking about your event just like they did ours. We are now trying to think of an event just so we can hire them again!

Put your mind at ease if you hire Chinatown. They are highly professional, worked with the couple prior to learn some of their favorite songs, and clearly watched the ceremony (ours was in the same venue as reception) so they knew who the "key players were. They sang to my almost 90 year old mother in law with their 1st song; they sang with the groom's mom, etc all without being told who was who. This impressed us greatly. Their singing and musical abilities were extraordinary and they keep the guests on the dance floor.
I tried searching beforehand for some general public videos of the band from another wedding. This way I could ensure the songs played on their website were not auto-tuned but didn't have much luck.....so if you are trying that and have concerns; don't. I think you will be just as happy as we were.
